thanks, how are you able to tell the fake ones from the real from the parts? I was looking for a lot of stuff on ebay, but this thread makes me realize that I need a way to figure out what is real and fake. Do you have pictures of the fake parts ? Thanks -
has anyone created a free wheeling winch using a driving ring and a changeover catch ? I would be interested in seeing it...

I'm curious if anyone has worked on a police car or if TLG plans to release one in the future. I wonder why they haven't done it in technic yet. There are quite a few in the standard lego's. thoughts ?

Yeha the caster doesn't make it look great. It helps with playabilty don't have to manually switch those gears as I used to whenever I wanted to be faster vs climb stuff.

Here's a video of my 41999 with an adjustable suspension and gear change using an autovalve- MOD inspired by fr3dpivo's video on youtube and the auto valve is Zblj's design.

nice! I haven't built my 8070 yet as I used it for the GT500, but will have to consider it now!

8448 is my favorite to this day. The 8466 while fun to build is a disappointment as it never really evolved from the 8448 and it had issues from a suspension and steering standpoint. I have not built the 8070, but I do like the looks. the 8070 does not appeal to me since there is not gearbox for driving. I have actually parted out my 8070 to use for Sheepo's Gt500 build which I am working on now. I never cared for the 8880- the style just never appealed to me.

I've always wanted this set. Are the stock tires / rims the same that you would find on the 4x4 rock crawler? I would love to get those tires for my rock crawler. -

portal axles. What an interesting concept that you don't see much of in real life.

Easy pass...maybe a super discount buy....2014 is not very exciting from a Technic standpoint.
