I loved Playmobil as a kid, I enjoyed having war with the figures and giving them weapons, also because they were bigger than LEGO I could incorporate them into my other action figures. I guess that's why I, personally, enjoyed them.

Yakuza family sounds like it'll be fun, especially since it will be dealing with an actual Mafia. -
$100,000 worth of clone troopers for sale on ebay
Nightshroud99 replied to madoka's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Honestly if someone is going to pay 10 grand in the belief they are getting an army lego plastic figures then they deserve to be scammed. I mean really, 10 thousand dollars for a bunch of clone troopers. I can see a few hundred $, but not 10k. -
Sorry if this has already mentioned but the only other Shire set I can see is from the Hobbit; An Unexpected Party, from chapter one. It would feature Bag End with Bilbo, Gandalf and a few of the Dwarves.

Inspired by Those Who Have Gone Before

Oh wow, the way you photographed this; the MOC itself, just makes this have a haunting feel to it. Odd for a LEGO model to inspire such a feeling. -

That Darth Maul is epic, I want him now!!! As for some of the new sets, Jabba's Palace still looks amazing and the Republic Fighter has excellent figures!!! Satele Shan -

Well the Pre-Vizla ship is a surprise, to me at least . Although, it looks stupid. But hopefully the figure itself will be great. -

Oh wow, I feel like such a dork right now for not knowing this. Of course, I never really paid much attention to that set. -

There's a new C-3PO in the poster!!! I hope that it becomes an actual figure, it's about time 3po had an update. -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

The video maker was lame, but at least we got to see a few of these beautiful new sets. The Gungan Sub looked accurate, the figures are well done. But!! The real star is Jabba's palace, what a wonderful set! Jabba looks amazing and the inclusion of another Twilek, Leia Boush and all the other figures is just superb. Besides, the play-features are actually pretty good. -
I use them when available, no point in saving them (in my opinion) because the savings will be the same today or 1 month from now, albeit maybe more. But my bank balance will stay the same. Also, if I were to drop dead then those unspent rewards will never be used.

Those new ideas of theirs are really making me salivate. Even simple things like Goblins would be nice, I miss them. Also saw that machinima yesterday, it was pretty epic!

Very nice job Better than the other ones, yet my only criticism is what others have said, the head it too high.

"The Dark Ages" - How long were you away from Lego?
Nightshroud99 replied to Duck's topic in General LEGO Discussion
2002 - 2008 Not counting 2006 when I got two LEGO Star Wars sets for the heck of it. -
Good job on the MOC and clever idea, although that news story is quite old. The Scout trooper helmet idea for toilet bowls is ingenious.

I just had to comment, I love the color scheme and design you went with this. The clever inclusion of Fabuland figures is just a plus. Good job!

What was the last movie you watched?
Nightshroud99 replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Haven't watched many movies lately, however I have seen some excellent TV programs. Sherlock, from BBC, is a superb, intelligent and well-written show about Sherlock Holmes in the 20th century. Highly recommended. Also, Sons of Anarchy is a fun and smart show from FX; about a fictional Biker Gang. It includes alot of the ole Ultra Violence, which I especially enjoy. -
Yes yes Yes!!! I couldn't agree more, the modular feel of it; and the fact that encapsulates the basic look and feel of the movie version is just perfect.

I think the nazgul are fine except for the hoods, I really think a new hood mold would have been the right choice; in the movies their hoods are narrow and oval like. Just a minor caveat though.

http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2012/02/01/relive-skyrim-39-s-civil-war-in-lego-form.aspx Game Informer magazine made an article just for you. Excellent MOC by the way.

This is off topic, but I'll add my opinion. I played LOTRO years ago, it was a stunning game but the classes were underwhelming and the need to be in a group for pretty much all quests after lvl 20 was a major negative point. Just my 2 cents lol

Ahh so close yet so far away. EDIT: Is the set on the far left the Orc Forge??

It's finally struck me that we are going to have an Official LEGO Lord of the Rings theme. I knew before yes, but right now I feel so giddy the wait is palpable. LEGO Lord of the Rings... It's a dream come true, and he figures and sets LEGO is making are just sublime.
