LEGO´s anti-war policy: A little hypocrite?
Nightshroud99 replied to Paulski's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yes indeed that would stir up quite the controversy, more-so than 'Friends'. War themes are a bad idea imo. -

Ah this has got to be the most exciting Mafia I've had the pleasure of seeing unfold. Kudos to the players, you are all doing an excellent job. -

Nightshroud99 replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Uh I don't know about this one. But I'll reserve my full judgement until I can see bigger pictures. -
O_o That is probably the biggest privately owned LEGO model I have seen. Amazing.

Same here.. And I was right about not having time. Logging on at 1 am to see 15 pages of posts makes me happy I'm not a part of it. -

Ohh this looks cool and I will enjoy watching it. But I don't have time to play. Star Wars the Old Republic is taking up my free time. Good luck to all who get to play! -
Err... I told myself I wouldn't buy them... But... it's so tempting now. I suppose I will have to give in, maybe catch this on sale.

This is very interesting and as Big Cam asked I would also like to see screenshots if possible. The Internet Security Virus is a big pain, had to get our home computer wiped and cleaned about 10 months ago because of it. I got the virus from a MegaBloks forum, which I find rather funny now. I have Kaspersky Internet Security currently, as the tech guys recommended to me. It has blocked alot of threats and so far I have yet to get a virus. Back on topic however, I haven't seen anything on Eurobricks.

This is definitely the best X-Wing to date! Thank you for this review, my opinion has changed and I want to buy this now.

The Walking Dead + others
Nightshroud99 replied to TLOR FETT's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Are the Walking Dead character you made based off the comic or show? Because if that's the tv show Rick he looks too confident and tough. Rick in the tv show is a wuss. But they are still well done. -
Thanks for reminding me, I had forgotten all about this lol. I don't even remember who I voted for! But LEGO will release the results eventually, they seem to have been bust with all these new Licenses.

Monster Fighters 2012

If they have a Zombie set then I'm really happy! -
Odd, but if this is true than it's good news.

Monster Fighters 2012
Nightshroud99 replied to Darth Nihilus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
These new sets seem ok, but then a bit odd. It reminds me of Time Crashers (I think that's what it's called) and Studio Halloween sets. -
If it's true we're getting Merry and Pippin I am relieved. They are two of my favorite characters. (Which isn't saying much since I love everyone in Lord of the Rings )
-
Oh this is a good day indeed! Gandalf arrives I was correct about, as pretty much everyone else Shelob Attacks I was correct about, and I want that set. Shelob looks very good! Uruk Hai Army is on of the best! A battlepack and addition to the deeping wall of Helms Deep!!! Attack on Weathertop: I find it disturbing that neither Merry or Pippin are in this set, or for that matter, in any sets!?! Mines of Moria: A very nice set, it has Boromir , but way too many stupid skeletons. I want Goblins!! And Merry and Pippin!!! Helms Deep: Amazing! It looks just like Helms Deep in the movie except smaller. I wish it had a generic Rohan soldier though; some elves.

I really like this villain. His color, mask, 'powers' he just seems really cool. Nice review.

REVIEW: 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City
Nightshroud99 replied to montgocloud's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thankfully Joker is in the funhouse set so I don't have to get this. It's a nice set, and the henchman is really cool. But I just don't want to spend my money on it. Good review though. -
Well I'd like to interject some personal information into this matter. I review LEGO on YouTube they have a feature called Insight, which gives information about who's watching my videos, their gender, their age etc. Only around %15 of my viewers are female, whilst over %75 are male. So personally, I can see LEGO capitalizing on a niche that they have yet to fulfill, but at the same time why?? If these girl themes have failed before, why do them again? Personally I agree with what others have said, include more female figures!! OR! Do something bold and make an actual theme with a female protagonist! (in a good way) This way boys would buy the theme and perhaps become more respectful of girls in turn; once they see how Action Suzie ( ) is a tough adventurer who fights pirates. Couple in good marketing and commercials aimed at girls tv programs and they could possibly draw in more buyers.

Yes thirteen minfigures is probably bit much for LEGO to do for a set, I got out of hand with the possibilities there But who knows, if Hogwarts had twelve, thirteen could be ok. Especially since several will be soldier clones. Now if we scrapped the elves and Berzerker Uruk like Nicemarmot said, the figures would be: Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Theoden and a couple Uruk Hai warriors. However, I do think there has to be some generic good soldiers like the Rohirrim, otherwise the set will be kind of one-sided If the Orc forge contained Saruman like Nicemarmot also suggested, then that would be really great. But it depends on how big a set the Orc forge will be...

Ok I feel like guessing what these sets might contain so here goes: 9469 Gandalf Arrives A small $10 -$12 dollar set with a cart, some fireworks Gandalf and Frodo. Maybe Sam or Bilbo. - A must buy. 9470 Shelob Attacks Shelob, Frodo wrapped up somehow, Sam, and maybe Gollum. A $25 dollar set. 9471 Uruk-hai Army Really not sure about this one at all, the name is too vague and could translate to several movie scenes... 9472 Attack on Weathertop Aragorn, Two to three Nazgul, Invisible Frodo, Sam, and hopefully Merry and Pippin. - A $50 dollar set. 9473 The Mines of Moria Gimli, Legolas, Gandalf, Frodo, and some Goblins. Maybe a Cave Troll, Balrog. - A $70 dollar set.. 9474 The Battle of Helm's Deep The big one! Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, Theoden, Haldir, two Rohan Soldiers, one elf, four Uruk Hai, and a Uruk Berzerker. Probably the deeping wall and part of the hornburg. - $130 dollar set. 9476 The Orc Forge Um a impulse set??
