Great review. I still prefer the new one but I love the comics and alternate builds. I think they stopped making them sometime after the Epi III sets.

I spend about 15 minutes each day on average. I'm really busy these days and don't have much time for lego.

Ya I don't mind waiting. It cost $500 in Canada with no sales since no stores carries them here.

Ya that set has tons of minifigures that were very rare before. But now i bet the minifigures will not be worth as much now. I think the landspeeder is a much better buy than the swamp speeder. (it only has 1 cool figure - barris)

Most of the stores during christmas was like this. Zellers for example got a huge supply of lego during november. After that shippment, they stopped receiving lego and stock started decreasing and still has not been restocked today...

Ya thats what i said. Their selection may not be the greatest but its OK (still less than average zellers) during Xmas. They still have separatist shuttle & vader fighter for $33.94 and hailfire droids and spider droids at my supstore. London drugs just finished their 20% off lego sale recently. BTW which part of BC are you from? @Sir Fred They do have a good selection. But now that toysrus is stocking up again, I wouldn't say that. They also have christmas mini sets for $2.48 (half price). Masterminds (not the site) is only at ontario. You also miss Sears, London Drugs, and Superstore. They may have a poor selection at times, but during christmas, they are OK. Btw, toysrus prices are OK and not too high for the new 2010 wave. Most of the stuff is at retail. The old Battle packs are still at $13.99 which they have not yet change to $14.99 yet. Probably cause the MSRP is already very expensive and severely marked up from last year. @ricecracker 2 employees... I heard we only have a call center here (not a warehouse) for french. All the lego's get here from the states.

The new grievous looks good from some prelim box art. But like others, theres no high resolution images of grievous yet. I think it will be available considering the superpack for vader fighter was availalbe there too.

I don't even understand why the republic swamp speeder has a Phase II clone trooper when its a clone wars set. Its nice to get another different clone trooper, but it just doesn't seem to match the "clone wars". Oh well, at least the clone trooper is a bit different than the clone troopers battle pack in 2007.

I think those are the same images with the confidental markings on them. They just either photoshoped it like they did on the toy story western train chase. For example, if you look closely at 8093 plo koon starfighter in the middle of the box, you can still see very faint confidental marking on it. Today I went to toysrus to see if they stocked up any set. To my suprise i just came right when they were stocking the LEGO aisle. It had been bare empty for 2 months . They had almost everything minus snowtrooper battle pack. The guy said there wasn't any (probably too lazy to check) but I rumbled through the boxes he was unpacking and I found them. I brought the Snowtrooper battle pack, Rebel battle pack, Freeco Speeder and the Swamp Speeder. P.S the good news is I asked for any coupons or discount and the cashier gave me some left over $10 off $50 coupons which expires in 2 days for me. The sets are still pricey but it makes it a more reasonable price.

Ya they most likely brought it, took all the figures out, then return it instores. I hate it when people do that. Worst cases I've seen was either opened empty boxes or opened boxes at Zellers. I never encounter this missing parts problem but I still check the boxes to see if its sealed from lego when buying them. Regardless, I brought the swamp speeder today at toysrus. They just came out fresh from the shippment when the guy was stocking the shelves.

There were TONS at my local walmart last week. Around 40 of them were there. Just got back from toysrus today and the guy was starting to put some of the 2010 star wars sets on the shelves that has been empty for 2 months. Its like another Christmas is here again.
