I don't think we'll have get this here in North America. Its one of those super packs like the darth vader fighter thats exclusive to europe. It is a pretty nice to get that set and save some $.

I brought the death star and the dropship at toysrus.ca today. VERY pricey even with the sale. I'm gonna go broke soon with these expensive UCS sets

I'm happy they are starting to listen to us. Hopefully, we'll get arrest of palpentine / jedi council and remake of cloud city to celebrate the 30th anniversary of empire strikes back. Back to the toy fair, Now we just need a clear look at the grievous and the medical droid..

I would suggest going to Toysrus first before zellers if your planning on getting star wars, indiana jones or power miners. They currently have a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale this week.

Toysrus in Canada is finally having a lego star wars sale. If i recall correctly, the only major star wars sale (excluding individual star wars set sale) was last year in february too. Last year's deal was something like Buy 2 and save 25% off. This year, all lego star wars, indiana jones and power miners are Buy 1 Get 1 50% off. The good news is that they also have Death Star, Dropship and Tantive listed on the site and valid for the deal. Most of the stuff is pretty much at retail except for the y wing, x wing, venator and the separatist shuttle. Enjoy !

I tottally forgot about kaboodles but I never went there before. Sorry, I was basically refering to toy stores in the lower main land. Langley is part of lower main land but very far from the city center (even farther than surrey ) But thanks for the tip. I went to Victoria before and its a nice place. Lucky you guys have double decker buses there.

Its very nice to hear Zellers is now stocking up (Finally... ) I'm gonna go check my local Zellers on friday. Unfortunatley, all the toy stores you provided are mostly in ontario except for winners. Theres also Sears Outlet. Sometimes you can get cracy deals similar to winners. There are only 2 stores here in British columbia -Shamryn Hobbies in New Westminister -Toy Traders in Langley (very far from the lowermainland )

Ya jedi council / arrest of emperor palpaentine are high demand sets. They were 1 of 3 options fan could choose a few years ago. I actually voted for arrest of emperor palpantine but it didn't win

Nice pictures ! The snowspeeder is nothing too special, but I like the cave and wampa. CTT is awesome The Candian toy fair has pictures much better than the uk one.

I'm confuse with what you all said from the first post to the last. Big difference with 89 hours to 7 hours But glad you clarifed things up a bit.

It really sucks. (But its still not as expensive as the dropship which is $350 and $100 higher than US like the death star) The prices are still the same 10 years ago when the currency was $1 US = $1.5 CAD. At that time, sellers in canada were more profitable because they sell stuff back in US. But if a canadian seller is trying to earn a profit today, its tough as prices are higher than US MSRP plus high taxes. And to make things worst, lego not only increase MSRP in US, but also in Canada

It is kind of weird how they still have hailfire droids and ankin fighter. I saw anakin fighter a while ago too when all other retailers and legoshop are already sold out. Both those sets are rapidly increasing in value getting to $30-50 US now.

The swamp speeder is almost the same as the separatist droid. We get barris instead of fox, clone swap and a regular droid rather than a droid commander. But i guess lego smartened up by making the swamp speeder box LARGE just so it can help sell it better than the separatist droid. The speeder is actually pretty nice but it isn't worth the price. I have it and its tiny.. But most sets these days have either shrunk up or/and raise the prices. To get a $30 US set with the same size/pieces a few years ago, we'll have to purchase $40 US sets now. (i.e $40 pirate tank vs $30 swamp speeder)
