  1. Not bad. Gave me a laugh.
  2. My head nearly exploded getting round that! Actually, it's 2 subthemes with 3 sets, 1 with 2 sets, and 1 with 1 set.
  3. Here's a little story. As many of you know, as well as Lego, another love of mine is Transformers. Now, when TFs first appeared in 1984 I was 11 years old, so by most people my age's ideas, I was already too old. However, a group of us did like them so it wasn't too bad. I collected them up until 1989, and still thought they were great, but by that time everyone else had grown out of them and I caved into peer pressure and gave them all away. This is something I have regretted for years. I can now only dream of owning some of them again now. If you like something, it should make no difference what anyone else thinks. It doesn't harm anyone else, so go for it. And I now share my hobbies with my two boys, so it's win-win round here!
  4. My Gamestation got some more in today, but not enough to reach my name on list... After Christmas now I would think...
  5. Really? I remember seeing them all the time in early 80s, but haven't seen one in years. I was watching Diamonds Are Forever yesterday and it reminded me.
  6. I'm of an age where I remember the hovercrafts used to cross the channel between England and France.
  7. I voted General Info. Nothing like expanding your knowledge base...
  8. No - usually same as s@h, but in this case it was cheaper. TRU do frequent offers, so it always pays to wait. After seeing the prices of the '07 sets, I shall be waiting for a nice sale
  9. And I was so looking forward to them. I seriously doubt I can pick them all up now. And what about these bigger sets due later in the year? If the
  10. Pretty nice. Bigger than 'classic' cars, but seems to be in line with the new stuff.
  11. Well, my kids love it. They like playing with the train. My brother thinks it's great too - he would love to have a layout if he had the space ;-) Most of my mates are 'geeks' of somesort, so whilst Lego may not be their thing, they have their own vices X-D
  12. No. I saw it in the Birmingham Lego Shop, then went round corner and got it cheaper in TRU. Even got a free Jedi Starfighter minikit X-D
  13. I remember it was same with Imperial Inspection - so I got mine from TRU.
  14. THERE'S a serious gamer for you :D
  15. The original link was to the ebay auctions, so you may find they have been sold now...
  16. Yes, but this thread is discussing UK availability...
  17. My PSP and all the games as I haven't touched them in months...
  18. LOL - what gave you that idea X-D X-D X-D Sorry, not having a go - I just laughed out loud and couldn't resist.
  19. I was clearing out my shelves for Xmas, and took a load of stuff to Gamestation to trade. Made
  20. I don't often venture into here, but couldn't let this one pass without comment. INCREDIBLE! That is the best MOC I have seen. I can only dream of being able to construct something like that. Maybe in a few years when my stock pile of bricks is ALOT larger...
  21. Looks fun. Will watch out for that.
  22. There is a kitchen. With fridge, cooker and sink. Well, my interpretation of...
  23. To save the topic, the ISD does have 25% off at TRU in UK right now, so a very reasonable
  24. Is it from reliable source? Or just mild speculation? It is really irritating just to say something like that without anything to back it up. I really don't mind if you *can't* say, but there's a world of difference between 'x sets are coming out' to 'a reliable source who should know says x sets are coming out'.
  25. Then keep on topic ;-) I'm hoping these turn up in UK just after Xmas (can't afford them till then!)
