I'm sure I remember reading somewhere that part of the SW licence meant no other space sets. Am I imagining that?

Best way to convert a game to a larger scale one is to convert cm to inches. If it is already inches, just double all ranges.

At the moment, everything I buy is built and left as is. My Star Wars, Batman, Exo-Force and Ferrari are display pieces, so like to keep them on shelves. My City sets are going into my town layout. I've only been in the hobby 2 years, so haven't really bought anything just as a parts pack. As time goes on, I probably will. A few of the buildings are my own creations, but I can honestly say I'm not particularly proud of them. Just can't seem to make a decent house :)

I like watching horror movies, but nothing in recent years has really shocked me. My all-time favourite, and scared me to death when I first saw it, is the original Omen.

The Hybrid Convoy is a tad over-rated. It does look nice, if you plan on just displaying it, but it is very fragile - it falls apart very easily during transformation. The Hybrid Galaxy Convoy is far superior.

And yes - that does include the BWvsWL set!

It's an F-15E 'Strike Eagle' ;) Interestingly though, Starscream will be an F-22 in the new movie.

Found a translation for the text in catalogue: "STAR WARS celebrates it 30th anniversary ! * The LEGO Star Wars line still sells well - even in years without a movie. In 2005, the LEGO Star Wars assortment was about 70 % of the total revenue of all Star Wars licences in central europe. In April 2006, LEGO Star Wars was about 7,8% of the total revenue of LEGO Central Europe * Because of the 30th anniversary of the Star Wars Saga, there will be a balanced assortment of NEW LEGO Star Wars items and best seller with new designs, in 2007. All sets include unique parts and figures. * The STAR WARS DVD set, that will be released at the 30th anniversary, will be responsible for an increased sale of the new sets. There will be a anniversary logo on all LEGO Star Wars sets. * All LEGO Star Wars set will be very detailed - with many authentic features, heros and bad guys from the movies. * Different price points for all conditions"

Jointed at both knuckles. The index finger is independent, but the other three are molded together.

I know reviews on this site tend to be for Lego sets, but every once in a while I come across something nice that should be shared. Here's my review for Takara's Masterpiece Starscream, the third in the line. First, pics of the jet mode: If you are a fan of Starscream, the first thing you may notice is he is not the same colour as the classic version. This is to give the jet mode more realism. As you can see, as a jet he does look very authentic. You can equip the jet with either Screamer's traditional Null Rays, or with more realistic missile pods. The weapons not in use can be stored on the display stand. Additional detailing includes engine flaps, a sensor array in nose, and retractable landing gear. You even get a little figure of Dr Arkeville to sit in cockpit. Not a particularly great figure, as painting is just limited to his lab coat. Oh well... Next, onto the robot mode: Again, a few differences from the classic look - the main one being the tail fin ection swings away from legs and hangs off hip. Unfortunately, he is rather top-heavy. The picture of him not on display stand was only possible by letting him lean against the box. I feel if the tail fins were part of his feet, he would be infinately more posable. The two faces of Starscream! Love the oh-so-in-character smirk! Weapon pods open! Overall, a very nice figure. I was disappointed about the lack of die cast on him - the only part I could find was the housing of the front landing gear. He is alot cheaper than the first two releases, but is significantly smaller too. You are still looking at about

No more new eps until next march! And both ended on cliffhangers!
