I hope so. I'm more excited for Avengers too but the JL has a big disadvantage. I already have 12 Avengers without any of the comicon stuff and we'll be able to add Falcon and Storm to that roster later this year.

Laaaaaaame. If they aren't releasing those DC sets til March because of the Lego Movie; doesn't that mean the new Marvel wave won't come til even later? I was hoping to stroll in sometime in March to grab the A.I.M Lab set and use my pick a brick boxes in one trip. And didn't DC get the last minifig giveaway too with Jor-El? *shakesfist*

Actually, while the critical response to Agents of Shield hasn't been the greatest; it's still pulling in a decent viewership anyway. When you include the live + DVR numbers the least watched episode was still above 9million viewers. There's a decent chance of a second season and they're even looking at doing a separate series focusing on Peggy Carter from the first Cap movie that might show what came before Shield was established. I doubt we'd see sets for it though. The best we could hope for is to get a Coulson minifig from either the movie sets or the Ultimate Spider-Man sets.

Don't think there's been any kind of substantiated hint even.

Getting kinda bored of the blandness in the Spidey sets but I just read a summary of season 3 for the cartoon and it really sounds like it could bring some good stuff to the next Spidey wave in 2015 or whenever An official agent Venom fig would be cool. But Lego's not allowed to forget about White Tiger!! I know they're girl-phobic but they've already given us the rest of the team except her and they better not try to skip her.

Ah, you might be right. It's possible the print has to be kept a certain distance from that raised lip at the bottom though. That set probably sold for people wanting Superman so much. I doubt they'll do another sentinel set unless they actually start a line of X-Men sets. If they keep randomly releasing one set every two years; they'll probably want to avoid repeating like that. Actually I hope they would avoid it anyway...

I think the problem with that would be that the print would cross onto multiple pieces. Just looking at it; the head seems to be comprised of a round plate then a round brick (with the printing on the side) and the very top is a dome (like R2D2's head). Sentinels have been made in various sizes and styles over the years. Some were only slightly taller than a person and others larger than buildings. These days we even have Evangelion like sentinels I think the size they went with is fine. A set with just minifigs and a big sentinel would look boring to little kids. Warner Bros/DC doesn't have total control of their cartoons anymore. Since the WB TV channel collapsed and they created the CW; they've been putting all their DC cartoons on Cartoon Network rather than a channel they own. That means Cartoon Network says what works and what doesn't and what they're interested in is selling merchandise of well-known characters; not pushing DC's agenda of establishing lesser known characters. Beware the Batman tried to do exactly that and it got axed real quick. I still think the set will likely include Astonishing Cyclops flying the Blackbird during the fight. The Spider-man sets are supposed to release in April and the X-men sets aren't til maybe July or August. The X-men stuff in the game doesn't reflect the real sets because they weren't ready in time to be included so the game developer just made up their own.

As far as Ms. Marvel; there's a rumor that Katee Sackhoff will be playing Carol in Avengers 2 then get a solo movie where she gets her powers later. Then she can be in Avengers 3. There's a pretty good chance of getting a fig eventually if Lego holds onto the license long enough.

Hmmm, looks like you're right. I hadn't read any updated plot blurbs since Karen Gillan's role was leaked as 'female lead villain' and everyone was speculating who it would be. I guess that's good though; almost definite we'll get a Ronan fig now They haven't done that, no. But there's nothing stopping them from doing it is my point. They can choose to do it any time.

Dark phoenix has the red costume; regular phoenix is green. As far as the comic con exclusivity agreements; I question how big of a deal that actually is. I've seen plenty of other merchandise get around that easy. A good example is this DBZ scouter http://www.bigbadtoy...289&mode=retail The only difference between the Con exclusive version and the retail version was the external packaging was different but the toy itself is completely identical in every way. For the minifigs it seems like something as small as changing the expression of the face print a little ought to be enough. Another example http://www.dccomics.com/blog/2013/05/20/dc-collectibles-announces-san-diego-comic-con-con-exclusives#2 DC offered an 'exclusive' set of Super Best Friends Forever figures at SDCC last year. Guess what's now available as a standard retail item? http://www.bigbadtoy...671&mode=retail The difference here is that they were sold as a set of 3 at the con and are now sold individually and also the retail version has a storage bin that snaps onto the underside of the figure's base to store the alternate heads (making the retail version better than the con version).

Nebula and The Collector are the two villains for the movie. She was in the footage that leaked from comic con I think the GoTG fig I want most is Ronan The Accuser.

The USM cartoon is a pretty big departure from any of the comics. It's all about spidey trying to become a junior S.H.I.E.L.D. agent while he's still in high school. And Mary Jane is the one who wants to be a journalist not Petey. Nova, Power Man, Iron Fist, and White Tiger are all working for S.H.I.E.L.D. with spidey. The Power Man in the cartoon is supposed to be a young Luke Cage but the costume was based off Victor's from the comics. Power Man and White Tiger recently joined Luke Cage's new Avengers team in the comics

I doubt we'll get the movie costumes; they're pretty lame anyway. They'll most likely use either the 90's cartoon costumes or the Astonishing costumes. The current Marvel Now stuff is probably too much.
