  1. Successfully acquired Rocket here in VA! I brought this printed about 3inches wide Had to really push with the people at customer service. It wasn't in the regular database but showed up in the shipping database and they found 200 in the manager's office.
  2. Got some better pics of the hulk buster hand color test on location
  3. I don't appreciate your tone or the attitude you've directed at me personally on a forum about discussing toys no less. Maybe you just don't recognize what your posts come across as. I know this is stupid to walk someone through this and no one's going to bother to read it/take it seriously but here it goes anyway. You feel the need to state that a piece of concept work doesn't guarantee that scene will be in the final cut of the movie so I point out it wasn't just art; they had in fact started filming. At this point I've shown no disrespect no snarkyness; merely statements of fact. And yet to this you respond with a sarcastic 'cool', then a little anecdote, more sarcasm with 'oh don't remember that?' followed by an all caps statement like you're shouting. Do you know what would've been a polite and civil way to make your statement? You think I'm being defensive? Well I am a human being and prefer to be treated with respect and to have discussions civilly. I only mentioned Flash because I know the whole Marvel vs DC thing can heat up in here from time to time and it seemed like the only reasonable explanation for you to be so rude. I'm sorry if I was wrong; maybe you're just one of those people that hangs out at 4chan or reddit all the time and honestly thinks this kind of hostile/aggressive tone is the norm. It's obvious you and I have very different ideas of how discussion should be conducted and I have no desire to engage with you further so I'm just going to bow out and avoid you on this forum from now on.
  4. Not a good pic here but this is the hulkbuster prop hand
  5. Um; do you feel a need to aggressively attack the hulk buster for some reason? Annoyed that this thread isn't dedicated to fawning over tv flash despite the fact Lego's never going to make a set based on the CW series? Seriously dude; how about you let us have some fun instead of trying to be the biggest wet blanket in the world. Besides, There's a very low chance of hulk buster getting cut. That's going to be one of the big action scenes and it's gonna sell a lot of merchandise and people have been waiting for that scene since Iron Man 1.
  6. Someone got a screen cap of the art Character designs for Avengers2 Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver
  7. Wasn't just art; they showed bits being filmed on the streets in south Africa. They had a giant Iron Man hand on a stick for reference.
  8. Just watched the Marvel: Assembling a Universe behind the scenes special and they showed concept art for a hulkbuster Iron Man vs Hulk scene! Here's hoping Avengers2 gets us a hulk buster from lego edit* lol guess I should've refreshed before posting
  9. I think Lego just wants to have movies/cartoons to tie their sets into. That's why the Marvel sets have so much more variety. Marvel's putting out 2 movies a year themselves plus movies from Fox/Sony they can indirectly tie into (like Wolverine's chopper and the Days of Future Past set) and have 3 cartoons going (USM/Avengers Assemble/Hulk agents of S.M.A.S.H.). Any time of the year there's plenty Marvel material to base a set on. Between Man of Steel and Batman v Superman (in 2016 -_-); the only DC media running is Teen Titans Go. Really, Teen Titans Go! A cartoon that's not even about crime fighting where they devote entire episodes to gags about cakes and stuff. That's why all we get is Batman, that's the only thing they feel comfortable making without any media to tie it into. I think when Warner Bros kicks the DC movies into gear is when the Lego sets will get better. I wouldn't be surprised if they even have a new Justice League cartoon planned to capitalize on the popularity of the movies. In all honesty though, Arrow is nothing. I know some of you guys like it but no one watches CW and their whole network is built around low-budget programming. For a CW show and for its budget; you could say it's reasonably popular. But it doesn't even hit the kid demographic that Lego focuses on and it's nowhere near the viewership it would need (like Breaking Bad/Walking Dead/NCIS #s) for Lego to want to look past the age rating like they did with the Nolan bat sets.
  10. http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/03/12/see-the-flash-in-action-grant-gustin-runs-on-the-set-of-dcs-new-tv-show/ I don't mind the color but the loose/baginess of it in some of the shots looks weird.
  11. There looks to be a hatch on the back of the blackbird attached with clips so it can flip up. Considering how thick the jet is; I think you could probably fit 4 minifigs back there so long as the interior has room.
  12. Looks like the cheapest set is going to be a Lego version of this then Hope the new Nova minifig looks cool at least.
  13. A bunch of pics of GotG toys have cropped up. Earlier in this thread someone described the 3 Lego sets as two being ships and one being a lava playset. http://f.cl.ly/items...Display-067.jpg http://f.cl.ly/items...Display-070.jpg So the question is whether 'Rocket Racoon's Warbird' or 'Nova Corps Starblaster' is the cheaper ship. Also, huge disappointment at the Sakaaran soldier [he's not a bug] http://f.cl.ly/items...Display-068.jpg http://i.imgur.com/vc5vKbo.jpg
  14. Looking at the 'blood' on Ronan; it just occurred to me that aside from the hood Ronan's costume seems to be derived more from the Pursuers than the Accusers
  15. I wasn't expecting them to release that early; no complaints though
  16. If you're actually bringing in Lexcorp then you can easily say Oscorp. There's also Thunderbolts Mountain, Dr. Strange's Sanctum Santorum, Avengers Tower, The Raft (super villain prison near Alcatraz), Prison 42 (prison built in the Negative Zone by Mr. Fantastic), Castle Von Doom, Atillan, the Necropolis at Wakanda, the Mojoverse arena, a K'un-L'un temple etc... Your ignorance of Marvel doesn't mean it's devoid of buildings
  17. I don't know of any other links that haven't gotten taken down. There was only one more bit of footage where they're standing in the line up and Star Lord makes a joke and Rocket spits.
  18. I could swear I read a blurb somewhere from somewhat at Marvel that said in the movie; there's a scene where cap steals his more classic costume back from a Smithsonian exhibit. Maybe after he becomes disillusioned with what S.H.I.E.L.D.'s become. That would probably be why we see him wear both in the trailer. If that's the case I wouldn't expect to see that costume again.
  19. It was screened at comicon and someone recorded it and uploaded it as two vines. Then someone joined them and put it on youtube. Marvel said the teaser was thrown together after just 12 days of shooting and they didn't intend to release it outside of comicon because it gives the false impression that the entire movie takes place inside the Nova prison (as that was the only footage they had shot).
  20. Spider-Woman would be on Avengers Assemble if anything, she has no connection to Spider-Man. You do have a point about them currently being absent from media though.
  21. I think he means the $20 ship is from the opening here
  22. My store's done that before but only if they have a bunch left over when the promotion ends.
  23. Yeah, the fig is supposed to be Sam. He's a close enough stand-in for Richie's old costume from before Annihilation though.
  24. In New Avengers, Cage was the leader of an Avengers team for a couple years starting around 2007 after Cap was assassinated. I still think the best use of the Power Man minifig is as Victor Alvarez the newer Power Man in the comics The fig has black pants, whoever took the pic switched them by mistake. This is where the design for the cartoon costume was derived from and it seems a much better fit (unless someone actually enjoys the cartoon or is more familiar with that version of the Marvel universe). Victor's an Avenger now too; he's part of the new team Luke's leading.
  25. For the 12 Avengers thing I was counting -Hulk -Cap -Widow -Iron Man -Spidey -Nova -Hawkeye -Wolverine -Thor -Iron Fist -Venom -War Machine/Iron Patriot (Rhodey does use the Patriot armor in the comics now) The symbiote can take whatever form Flash wants including the more classic Venom look so I consider him an acceptable stand-in. Think that was Moonstone. Edit* Here's the 50th anniversary Avengers poster (which is 6ft wide) http://i416.photobuc...da.jpg~original I don't know why you guys would want to make up weird rules to limit who's considered an Avenger. Once an Avenger always an Avenger; that's how it is in the comics. Especially the current run and the new Avengers World where they view the team as ever-shifting to address specific threats and they'll call on whoever they feel is best suited to the task at hand.
