  1. If you decide to make a few, don't feel shy about posting them here
  2. Very nicely done! As I mentioned in the other post I wanted to see more scenes like that and here it is. Very well done and the posture of the spartan on the top of the cliff really indicates what's going on. Yet again, I want to see more!
  3. Now that's really something! You can really see what's going on here with the ambush and the line of spartans soon to have a surprise! I picture in my mind that this is a cliffy (can you say that?) area near the ocean and the spartans are making their way through. Great use of parts and it's simple yet very effective. I want to see more scenes like this!
  4. Thanks much for the praise As a town-nut in my childhood I was used to the bottom up design as you mentioned, but I never got the hang of the technic aspects of that building method. After being introduced to LEGO mindstorms and studless in 2008, which was also when I came out of the DA, I was really happy with the studless building method. I managed to do this much easier than bottom up. I can't really say why, but it comes easier to me to build inside out for some reason. As I was going to say, when it comes to town and modular houses then I think it's pretty straight forward with the bottom up method, and I have a hard time with SNOTing for some reason. Really strange really, considering snot is more like studless building. Hope you understood what I was trying to say. If not, I'll rephrase it for you
  5. Welcome to EB! You did mention you like big machineries. Do you have any favorites you want to mention?
  6. Welcome to the forums! Do you have any mocs yet?

  8. Hi and welcome to Eurobricks! ... and welcome back to the brick! Seems like a lot of people have returned to the brick after the release of the collectible minifigures. I suppose you've already collected most of the minifigures.
  9. Hi and welcome to Eurobricks forums! If you think studless is less intuitive then I would like to ask you to take a look at this creation to prove you otherwise
  10. Hi and welcome to Eurobricks forums! Looks like you have quite a nice collection of bricks. Keep the mocs coming!
  11. Welcome to Eurobricks! Hope you enjoy your stay here! When it comes to grammar we don't expect it to be perfect or anything near. We only ask that you try to speak english the best you know. After spending my christmas with my girlfriend in Rome I must say you live in a beautiful country and you have the most top notch architecture I've seen.
  12. Welcome to EB and welcome back to the brick! I'm really impressed by your MOC (my own creation). Seems like you've put a lot of time and effort into this stage and it really looks great!
  13. Welcome to EB! Hope you enjoy your stay here!
  14. Welcome to EB and back to the brick!
  15. Not bad at all. It looks even better with real bricks, and the white color really makes it a sight of wonder! How much did you actually spend on this project? Like we would say it in norwegian: "Godt jobba, mann!" Edit: typo
  16. Now that's a huge police station. Great work! This would be a most wanted police station for the town police-nut.
  17. A truly magnificent building, and my first reaction was something like "that's new"! I can't really put a pinger on it, but it looks different from other styles - in a good way of course. It has a clean look and the use of orange bricks with tan and dark/light bluish gray really makes this a winner. I've seen many people experiment with tan and subcolors, but this was a fantastic combination. I also liked that you used the box-pieces as collums, though that is not a new technique, but it sure looks great and adds detail to the whole. Also, I noticed the mini-minifigures on the top of the windows, which really was a great idea for this design. Keep it up!
  18. Okay, this is LEGO furniture on a whole new level. The glas table with the bowl of fruits (or salad?) looks amazing. The desk is very inotvative with the lamp stand. Also the chais looks amazing! The rug also look great!
  19. That's simply just amazing! And not to mention all the wonderful details you put into this work! You made this one come to life with all those minifigs minding their business and great variety too. I really like how you made the roofs and the gardens. It all looks very authentic. Great work!
  20. So many wonderful entries here, but here are my favorites: Cecilie: 2 points kost u grlu: 1 point Colonel: 1 point Dix: 1 point
  21. Hi, and welcome to Eurobricks, Daniel. My name is also Daniel I really like your swine herder moc. The mushrooms looks great and the pond with the frog and lillys are fantastic!
  22. God dag til deg også! And welcome to Eurobricks! A bit late for me to welcome you, but here it is
  23. Wow, that's so awesome. The chrome and the details, and not to mention the functionality makes this a winner. Good job making a replica of the original! Kudos to the creator of this beautiful thing. Too bad he didn't post it himself.
  24. Yeah, I certainly know that problem. Anyways, you did a great job with what you had available at hand
  25. A very pretty scene and I like the rose garden. Excellent details as well!
