Welcome to Eurobricks forums! Enjoy your stay here! What is your favorite theme(s)?

I think I might have seen the first one on MOCpages. Anyways, great job on all the buildings! Seems like you've put a lot of time and effort into building them.
-
Congratulations everyone! This was a really challenging competition, with lots of good contendants!
-
That's very neat! I especially love the facial impressions!

This looks very authentic! Good job! I especially like the little bowl of rice with the chop sticks.

Ah, that looks great! It reminds me of the Magic shop from 1993. I used to love that set when I was little

I would recommend taking a look at bricklink and make a wanted list with the parts you need. That way you will have a bigger chance getting all the pieces you need. Also, I would buy a few creator house sets, which will give you a lot of parts for a good price. Do you mean this part?

After being to Rome this christmas and learning so much history about old rome and the roman empire, I'm really into seeing a roman theme. So, my vote goes for Roman.

Like others have said before me, the scene looks ful of life and you can see that there are things going on. I had to laugh a bit when I noticed the vampire on the top roof Good job!

Not bad at all! I especially like the look on the face of the main character and how you made the roof. Simple, yet very effective!

Excellent remake of a concept car. You made it look very good, and you got the curves done pretty well!
-
I'm simply just stunned by all the details! The garden around looks fantastic! At first it looks almost real.
-
Excellent that you found out you wanted to introduce yourself! A delayed welcome to EB! You already have quite the portfolio and that's great. I especially like your Spyker C8! Great job!

That's really something! I simply just love your city! The use of real light in it really makes it a winner. Not to mention your LEGO-store, which looks excellent, both exterior and interior wise. Good details and all!

I had it exactly the same way when taking apart the bulldozer. My thumb was rather destroyed and I had blizters on it when I was done with it. But the funny thing is after a while building every day with studless and technic pins, your thumbskin starts to harden and it won't feel as soar anymore. After building PAHAB and redoing the legs maybe 7-8 times, I had the roughest skin on my thumb. When it comes to studded, it's seen as the old style of technic, which isn't being used much anymore and the studless is the new way. Basically, you're totally right when it comes to preferences, but heck you can build a lot of crazy stuff out of technic. Have you seen Eric Sophies Jamocklaquat? I had a lot of inspiration taken from it when building PAHAB, even though I used totally different techniques and parts.

A very good topic indeed, which concerns many builders. I guess it's a matter of economy and also what the building is supposed to serve as. If one is to plan and build a big city, it would be more economic to cut corners and to only focus on the facade for each building. In my case I like to take it all the way out with facade and interior, not leaving anything "blank". I prefer really detailed buildings with interior, and my main goal when building modular buildings is quality over quantity. I'd rather spend two-three months on a single building, making it look as stunning as possible. I'm not saying that a facade by itself with no interior can't be stunning, but it feels in my opinion more empty and inclomplete. I demand perfection from myself and that's probably why I focus mainly on the whole, rather than only building the exterior.
