OOC: What exactly does a Mythrill Shard do? I know Mythrill Ore can be used to upgrade a weapon, but what about the Shards?

Fred67 is correct. Requesting missing parts is done in the Bricks and Pieces section of Lego's Customer Service website. (Requested missing parts are free.) Pick A Brick is an entirely different service meant exclusively for ordering individual parts not related to other purchases.

Deus stood in silence for a few moments before replying to Kianu. "I'm not sure, to be honest. If what these spiders are saying is true, then I believe your father may have been captured. If they're lying, I'm really not sure," He said, slowly. "Otherwise, I'm ready to head out. But how long will it take to reach the Misery Mire?" He questioned Kianu, "I might use a Potion depending on how long we're travelling."

Deus had rushed to the house when the spiders had appeared, and he was watching them carefully - he had a feeling they could be trusted. But he wasn't going to be jumping to any conclusions.

"Hmm, I see," Deus grimaced as he mentioned the queen, "Well, I best be off. It looks like Kianu's rounding everyone up." He walked over to Kianu, and prepared to leave.

Well, I tried opening and closing it (a lot), and it seems to have done the trick! (As of six hours later they're both still closed.) Thanks for the help! I'll update this post tomorrow whether or not they're still staying closed. It worked!

So, I recently acquired set 10243 Parisian Restaurant, and I noticed that there seems to be an issue with both of my clam pieces included in the set. Whenever closed, they both pop out after a few seconds. Upon taking them out of the packaging, they looked perfectly fine, but as soon as I tried to close one, it popped back open. The second one was working fine the first day I had it, but the day after, I woke up and found that it would no longer stay closed as well. Has anyone else had this problem, or know why it occurs? (I plan on contacting Lego Customer Service soon. ) Here's the piece, for reference:
