  1. I will be modding mine as well. An extra escalator as you mentioned, plus I will be tiling the floors also. Nothing too over the top though as I think this set looks amazing as it is. Oh, on top of that I will be replacing the "SHOP" signage to read "MYER". Already mocked it up in LDD!!!
  2. Such an impressive build - well done Reload!!! And talk about timing with unveiling it, with today being Australia Day and all. Now I really wish I had gone to Brickvention this year. Apart from the jet itself, I really like the effort you put into the smaller models - especially the red/white tow trucks. They are perfect.
  3. I just had another look at the high-res pics of the Grand Emporium that are currently available, and it looks like on the brick-built "SHOP" sign, the top tiles on the 'S', 'O' and 'P' are a single 3 length tile piece. Is it just me, or is that a new piece? I always thought they only came in 1x1, 1x2 or 1x4, etc. Would love a second opinion on this...
  4. I can't wait to buy/build this. As for the next modular building: IMHO either a post office - as many have suggested, or a bank. A personal preference would also be some kind of cinema/theatre. Oh well, if Lego doesn't make them then I'll have to build them for myself first!!!
  5. I've always wanted Lego to make a UCS version of the Speeder. Something about a foot long in size would be brilliant!!! Does anyone know if anyone has made a UCS-like MOC of the Speeder?
  6. Great job!!! I really appreciate that you did something that a lot of folks who build the modular MOC's don't do - make every floor a different color and design. If you look at the official sets, they are all this way, and so is yours, and I believe subconsciously that is why your MOC looks so good. Having not seen the official set (if it even exists) I can't see how it could look much different to yours. Again, well done mate!!!
