Did you even read this oo7 because by the way of your response it sounds like you just looked at the words and posted for the pleasure of posting. I think this is a good idea because it is like opening up a whole new theme of pirate legos where we get to see new options for sets. I am in wondernig when we will get to see other ships and some of the bases of which the story speaks.

But if nobody is to buy these sets then how is the Lego factory to know that people want to buy more proper pirate legos?

Floating fortress is a very good description for the MOC that is on display here. But with all the fortress castle pieces wouldnt that make this ship sink to the bottom of the ocean? Or are the fortress castle pieces suppose to be made from metal like shielding to protect from bullets and cannon balls?

I AM a pirate but I am not thinking every ship is cool just because it calls itself a pirate ship. But this isnt really a pirate ship but I think you get the point I am trying to make. For me to think a ship is cool it must have aspects of which I admire but this ship just looks to strange for my liking. If you think this ship is cool I am not going to disrespect that for all people have different thoughts on different things.

Don't you think a gear is too futuristic for this MOC and does it even need a steering wheel to beginn with? When I look of old boats and ships I see a stick is used to move the rudder from side to side, what you have here reminds me of the speed boats of today. So does it need a steering wheel really?

Why is everyone so harsh upon these Duploo sets, they are a reminder that pirates are still in the minds of the Lego makers and one day their minds might see it fit to give us proper pirate Lego sets. Maybe if we rush out and purchase many of these for our children and grandchildren we can send the message to those at Lego to give us proper pirates. But I do not have children or grandchildren so I do this for my cousins.

Oh god what a boring set this is and it is so similiar to another set which was a lot better, but not that great a set itself. Why did the Lego Factory choose to make a set such as this, did think they really needed another small raft similiar to the one they had before? The pieces aren't really that useful for making other pirate creations from for there is so few of them and the minifig it has is so common and so boring.

Why is the name of this thread 'a cool frigate on brickshelf' if nobody here thinks it cool or is it only jacob c that thinks this is a cool ship? i must agree with everyone else that these sails look truly awful and i would never wish to build them in a way such as this..

Oh this is a dream of mine which is coming true for I always wanted to have a pirate lego comic book to read. Its a pity the lego factory never thought of this idea for i would go out and buy all comics of pirate lego.

I must say this moc is of pure inventiveness and I would never have thought such a thing to get my imperial guards high up stream to fight the pirates. I must ask what the imperial guard in the picture is holding on to for i am wondering if it is a steering wheel. I didn't boats like this had such devices for steering

Arent those islanders suppose to be the indians which the spanish came and killed to get all their gold? well thats what hapepned in real history but may the lego factory wouldnt make their theme on such violence

yes i think dreamweb and phez are correct in saying these sails are not looking right because they look too bricky. i think the creator should have used proper sails or made their own using evil willys sail making tutorial.

Oh cool finally some new pirate sets. I think I mite get some of these for my younger brother so I can start him into pirates at young age and by the time he is old enough maybe the lego place will have new proper pirate sets he can buy.

I am wondering to dreamweb why he didn't use the sails from the same set for all the sails. I do not understand why he has used half from one set and half from another. Is it because he does not have enough sails from the one set?

I to would like to contribute with pictures review but first i must wait until my writing gets good enough to write such a thing. Will i get promoted for writing these reviews and how long does each review need to be?

I dont understand this multiple personalities thing but i shall do better effort to make longer posts with better writing. I do love my pirates lego and i want to get a high pirate rank so i will do whatever i need to get promoted.

sting you have begun to created a fine moc and i look forward to seeing it become completed. but what i dont understand is the name imperial capitol fort. what does this capitol refer to? is this fort to be found in a capitol city?
