I did not meen in the Pirate Caribbean Movies I meen did pirates in real history sail from china to be in the Caribbean and commit the acts of piracy and such?

Why is it always this captain Redbeard minifig in use? Why does nobody use captain Ironhook for their Mocs, is this Ironhook so much worse than Redbeard that I dont know of? And besides Tiber, u now have an Armada avatar so what is ur true pirate appearance?

Maybe he has got what he sought from Eurobricks and has vowed not to return until such time he has completed his Moc. I not understand users that post a few times then do not post any further does this mean they do not like our forum? I pledge my dedication to it, but I see many do not.

I wish to know the differents between a English motoar and a motoar from outside of England. This description in the thread says it is an English motoar which is why I have become wondering about it.

i dont know if that is a negative or a positive... but i think you are wrong, if TLG made new pirates they would have less pieces then my tower LOL... like the whole sides would be one piece, or even the whole floor with sides and ceiling inclueded in one big box piece. and the pirates would end up flesh toned or something horrible.... They are nott negative words against you ska but they are negative words against the decision of the Lego factory to make these childrens colors. But do not even suggest the very thought of skin tonned pirates for it makes my blood run cold. I do like yor moc but it is a shame that the colors have gone this way.

Would it not be better if mor better sails were drawn upon the ship? Maybe 1 of the graphics people here could do it.

Skarforhire are you a writer or some kind of journalist for you seem to have a great ability in writing long stories. Maybe you could write a story for Korns vignettes since he does not have a level of fantasy to enable him to do so.

I think he got his beloved comments in the other threads of the Lotus But his Mocpage has more mocs than just the lotus and I see no threads for many of these others Mocs unless they have a title in which I cannot determine.

Surely we do not have requirement to create a threads for every single link that leads to a source of pirate factual knowledge. Maybe if we made a directory of references and grouped similiar webpages under headings. We could stll keep a thread such as this for our dicussions but i do not belief we need a dsicussion for all links.

I am shamed to ancounce that I am of the guilty party who does not view the Pirate Lego Direktory because I forget it is there. My mind seems to wander over the pinned threads and i do not see them. I suspect this is the case for many users seeing the pinned threads not get such a good posting.

Yes I have much agreence that this thred should be dedicated to Talk like a Pirate day. I never new of such a day until I read this thread and I must enquired more information of it. Is this an event like halloween where people dressed in costume and decorate their homes or is it just another one of those days that are labelled but the majority do not really care for it?

Also I visit yor Moc pages and yor subfolders have no thumbnail only no picture images and i think this should be fixed as they look very dull.

I understood this pefectly Korn but don't you have some story you could invent to make more background to this Moc of yors? I have never constructed my own Moc so I therefore cannot understood the full process behind making stories for them so I ask is it difficult to formulate such a story?

I am looking upon this imag of the Monkey Troop In and I would like to know why it has this name for I can only observe one monkey in this picture. It is from my understanding that troop is the name for a group of monkeys or apes and here only one is depicted so how could this be called a troop?

There is to be pirates of a china heritage in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean movie however I have a question from this. Did china pirate ever sail from their country to the Caribean or is this just fiction we see for the movie?

Believe me, Mr. Ironhook, 'tis the size that befuddles you. In almost all cases the larger a creation, the less apparent its LEGO roots are (sometimes coupled with an absurd amount of details). Sometimes mini-figs are the only distinguishing factor. I do wish that Dr. Carney would add mini-figs to his sculptures because they would add much needed life to the MOCs. What does this word of befuddles mean ?? I do not undersand what you mean by this word. And why is this doctor building Lego when he should be focusing on the needs of a patient ??

These cannons look very printed on the sails with a computer printer!! I must say rupi if you did this by hand you have much skill to keep them looking so nice.

About the 2 BSBs, are you saying that you want to trade a SES for 2 bsbs? If it were 1 SES for 2 BSB then this would be a many more tempting offering but as BSB has been released again some years back that leaves SES more rarer and therefore of more value. So this is why trading a singular BSB for a singular SES is not a good deal to many.

These website is very horrible to circumnavigate for the way it swaps between pages in a linear style. Why can they not have thumnails like any intelligent would have, at least them have for the catalogs themself. By the ways oo7 it tells of the name of the country underneath the catalog thumnail.
