Where is the differece between the Simpsons House and the Tower of Orthanc? This set was only available in Lego shops and S@H but now you can find it in normal shops as well. Isn't the Simpsons House an exclusive set?

I am frustrated as well. Not knowing if we will get a third wave is annoying (especially when I think about the sets and characters that we are still missing) No Gondorian Soldiers and sets, Witch King, Galadriel, Balrog, Fell Beast,... Sounds like a bad joke!

I think it makes sense to include them but, of course, I would like to see new minifigures instead because I already have Luke, Obi Wan, etc. I hope we get more new (not updated) minifigures than the two band members.

Getting this set is amazing :) (even though i wish this would have been released 5-10 years ago because I think the show is not as good as it used to be)

It's possible that they swapped the summer (LotR) and winter (Hobbit) wave because of the original release date of TABA but i'm afraid this is unlikely :(

This might be a stupid question but is it possible that TLC gave up using the 10XXX numbers for the large sets? The new Sandcrawler, the Simpsons House and Metalbeard'a Sea Cow are sets that should have them but they don't.

A cantina without Greedo would be very strange :/ I like the new cantina because it's a nice and bigger remake of the old version. Of course, it could be bigger but I think it has the right size and price for kids (and including a MOC bar shouldn't be a problem).

Radagast is still alive in LotR (book). Would be strange if he dies in the movie.

This doesn't surprise me because a third Hobbit wave is already confirmed and they COULD be part of it. I beleive/hope they are LotR set and it seems plausible!

The catalogue for retailers or consumers? I saw the sets from wave two in the latest catalogue for consumers (Jan-Jun 2014).

But we don't have information about ANY set from the summer wave. But I have to admit I'm not as optomistic as I used to be.

I agree. I think other characters/sets are more important at the moment. (Witch King, Eowyn, Faramir, sets based on Gondor) It would be a real shame if we don't get a third wave! Retailers should get the new catalogues in a few weeks and then we wil know a lot more.

That explains the 75XXX number. But a set for 299 is more or less UCS.

That would be amazing! :) I'd love to get a new Sandcrawler (and new Jawas). But 299 for 1600 parts would be quite expensive. Even for a UCS set!
