Fana'Briques is the biggest lego exhibition in France. It will occur this year on 26th and 27th October in Colmar. The theme will be Halloween, and we made the official teaser for it. Enjoy!

Synopsis: A young lady decides to visit the famous Castle of LEFERATU alone. But isn't that a little risky for her? This brickfilm is a nod to the film Nosferatu by F.W. Murnau, released in 1922. ENGLISH version on Youtube: https://youtu.be/dFMhXZmPK-Q FRENCH version on Youtube: https://youtu.be/02PmeyV7g2w For the first time, we didn't use a green screen for the backgrounds, but directly images displayed on a screen: Did you notice the water flowing at the fountain? (We used optical fiber for this)

Enjoy! :) Short version of the brickfilm (1 min 20 s): LEGO sports in quarantine Full version (2 min 43 s): Farniente English subtitles available! (Sorry, but I didn't find out how to embed the videos)

Aqua'Briques: giant lego aquarium
France_et_Alex replied to France_et_Alex's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Thanks, Mr Greeble and Playwell Bricks! We made a second version of this brickfilm, because a friend of us wanted to compose an original music for our video. So, here's « Blue Abyss », a music video in which the music is much more dynamic than in the previous version... By the way, do you prefer the first version with zen music, or this more dynamic one? -
Hello! We made this brickfilm that was screened in the the giant lego aquarium "Aqua'Briques" at lego exhibition Fana'Briques which took place in Rosheim, France, on 24th, 25th and 26th June 2016. Good job, even if the animation is a bit choppy. Too bad you couldn't enter the contest... It was really funny to see what came out of that egg!
-
Happy Easter!

France_et_Alex replied to iguana's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Great job with this trailer, iguana! The sets are so beautiful, and the lighting and animation are so professionnal! Can't wait for the finished product! Best of luck for your crowfunding, only 20% left to get to the goal! Fingers crossed! PS: maybe you should "integrate" the trailer like this instead of just putting a link... -
Brickflick: LEGO-TEAM (remastered)
France_et_Alex replied to France_et_Alex's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Thanks a lot for your comment, iguana! Most people aren't aware of the amount of time it takes to make such a brickflick... But it was a real pleasure for me to remaster this. And I must say I'm quite pleased with the result! -
For it's 10th birthday, we've completely remastered our A-Team parody "LEGO-TEAM": 15 fps instead of 10, no more lightflickers or set bumps, better sound and editing (length: 8 min 53 s). Enjoy! And, if you want to compare with the original version of our brickfilm (length: 14 min 31 s)... Watch the difference!
-
As you said it, there are a few technical flaws (lightflickers and set bumps), but the whole thing is really enjoyable to watch and the music is really fine too. Great job with your first music video, keep up the good work!
