  1. It's gonna be a free digital document, nothing too fancy with an option to donate That's the plan! Thank you very much! It will be a major change since I will be limited with what I can post. So I have to make the last few months count!
  2. Unofrtunetely I will not be posting many more MOCs since I'm moving to Denmark in a few months. Having said that, i have been working on a LEGO Technic building techniques book, so I'm hoping I can finish that in time before the big move!
  3. What an amazing a cute model! Reminds me of the road runner.
  4. Square cube law says no. Going from 1:8 to 1:6 means models are some 2,5x heavier and you start to experience issues with supporting such weights.
  5. Trophy truck and Rescue helicopter Trophy truck has the following functions and features: Independent suspension in the front Live axle in the rear RWD with a fake V8 engine Steering actuated by a spare tyre in the rear Full interior with 2 seats and a steering wheel Opening doors and hood Monster livery The rescue helicopter has the following gunctions and features: Spinning rotors using a gear or a hidden rack trigger mechanism Collective control for the main rotor Winch with a ratchet mechanism Foldable landing gear Various cameras and antennas Colorful livery, using neon yellow, red, white, black Modern styling with lots of curved surfaces Video of the both models: Weight: Topic:
  6. Here are the final photos and video of the completed models. I do love these challenges, because they allow me to push myself out of the comfort zone and do something new, different and fun!
  7. I wonder if the DRS is connected to the gearbox. It would make sense! Other than that I don't see any new parts/innovations.
  8. I use LDD, which I keep updated form this source: https://www.customlddupdates.com/ I tried other programs but LDD has the most snappy interface and grid system IMO.
  9. It's really cute! Too bad there's no mirrored version of the prop.
  10. ACTUALLY, a stud is around 4,85-4,90 mm. But yes, they are spaced 8 mm apart which is the LEGO's basic's grid.
  11. I recommend getting a caliper and measuring it.
  12. Indeed, a rubber band returns the rack. After further research I noticed, I messed up the side of the control stick, so I put it on the correct - left side. I also switched the side of the winch and the cameras, since most helicopters seem to have the winch on the right side.
  13. Thank you for the praise. I could have built a longer part out of pins and axle joiners, but I wanted something more robust. Also I made a mistake, it collective control not cyclic.
  14. Here we can see that indeed there is a new 4,5L axle with central stop present in 42226 and 42227:
