LOL Just the two Fire sets. I think these sets are like the "Sneak Peak" of the City sets. Some very odd things. The fire station has some odd pieces. The top piece of the fire car is printed on and not a sticker, but there are two yellow shields that have stickers. There is a 1x1 tile and you need to stick a sticker too it. So megablock. There is nothing on the second floor, and it isn't even closed off all the way. Lots of cool axes and things. The oddest thing has to be the back of the car that comes with it, right above the back lights there is a HP water foset. There are a lot of new pices in the sets, some freaky like the front and back of the car, but I can't even desribe that piece. The set also has like 10 1x1 slopes, and the fire truck has the same. The boxes are so huge and megablock through, and these megablock girls gave me looks because the Lego bag was huge. Girls suck.

Fire station for $30 is not bad. The reason why Lego made more is because the sets where better and more people bought the sets.

I went to the Lego Store that isn't more than an hour away, normally 45 minutes, left at 3:30 got there at 6. The traffic was going 4 miles an hour, and it was crazy, it is Thanksgiving but after getting to a certain exit it should have cleared, nope. Good news no one goes to the mall two days before black Friday, and I went into the Lego store, saw some new Lego pens, very nice fire one and a police one, and then I saw the new sets. One of each left and I fout them. The Pick a Brick was the same and I didn't need anything from it. The boxes are so kiddie "Biuld the set in sets for easy biulding" something lame like that. When I was a kid I wanted to take a long time because it was fun. What is the point of biulding Legos if you don't want to take the time to biuld them? More on the sets after I open them. :)

Lego took back that "no license" thing. They are now saying that they will be studied more and yadda yadda. Kind of like what they are saying with the colors. All we can do is sit and wait and hope we get good sets like the City sets for a good price and that they don't completely wreck everything.

Amazon has the AT-AT for $50?! *Runs and checks it out*

So you don't want other companies? The fact that there is more than just Lego now should have woke Lego up from their dreamland, but it didn't, still think they are the only ones and they are paying for their short sighted ignorance.

Exactly. Bionicle is not creative, it is a cheap way to make money. What I am saying is that before Bionicle Lego was making money too, and they can make it without Bionicle. Even with it they still can't make up for the loses. The video games are not loosing that much, easy to make and it gets the Lego name out there for people to see and go "I remember Lego, I'll buy some for my kid".

A new theme cost a huge amount of money in research and development Well the end of star wars licence will maybe be a good thing in itself : our sets will gain in value and we will have new sapce themes Yet throughout the 90s there were new themes every year and every year Lego made money, something they are not doing now. The cost to make new themes is probably a whole lot less than to buy pointless licenses, aka Disney and Dora the Explorer, and Star Wars and Harry Potter, and Spider Man. And how does everyone know that after Star Wars ends Lego will go back to making Space sets? I think what Lego is do is easing its way to make Alpha Team in Space. Star Wars Lego sets will never really gain that much, they have so many made and so many have them that they would have to be 50 years from now and in mint condition.

You guys really do get screwed. The Tusken Raider Encounter is "cheap" when it's 5 pounds? That would be closer to the normal price year. *Goes and opens a black market Lego store selling Lego sets from USA cheaper than what they are in Europe* :)

I don't know what to answer on this else than a big YES!!!! ;) Peh. Bionicle is the thing that, however much you regret it, kept Lego afloat the last couple of years. You don't like it? You don't buy it. And I must say that however much Bionicle is unlike Lego-with-studs, it still shows creativity and originality in the design, and is of a much higher quality than the cheap Megablocks knockoff. But that's just my opinion. You're entitled to yours. ;) Bionicle hasn't kept Lego afloat, they are still loosing 100 of million of American dollars. And the design of them is what I hate the most, most of the sets can be made with bricks, the designers are just too lazy to do that. The first year of Bionicle was fine, nothing I would buy but the design is good. Now it's this trash where they have 6 guys a year that are all the same with different colors, and have one new pice than the sets from the year before. Bionicle could not be less creative.

What the hell are they doing with Alpha Team?! And why won't Lego try to make a new Theme?!

Once again the reason why you should only post here.

And Bionicle is still megablock.

I'm sure we will get to complain plenty, just look at the other Racer sets.

Don't worry I hear they will be making a mini TIE collection. :-D -
HAHAHAHAHA You mean you don't like those choices? :) My favorites are the one that just has $100 worth of Lego sets on a table and they win. Or the one that is like 10 pieces and says "Lego" on some plate, then there are the ones that look like someone threw pieces together to make something.... oh wait that was just the preview for next years Bionicle and Racer sets. :-D

I saw this the other day, then again today, it's too god damn megablock for me not to post. Quote: N.Y. Lawsuit Kicks Dodgeball Into Court Sat Nov 20,11:20 AM ET U.S. National - AP By MICHAEL GORMLEY, Associated Press Writer ALBANY, N.Y. - The high-energy school yard game of dodgeball is getting kicked around a New York courtroom, where questions are being raised about whether it's just too dangerous for young children to play. This week, a New York state Appellate Division panel refused to dismiss a lawsuit that claims a school wronged a 7-year-old girl who broke her elbow while playing dodgeball. State and national education officials say what makes the case unique is that the lawsuit doesn't fault the school for poor supervision

This is why I'm not going to have anything to do with it.
