  1. I don't think I played so badly, def. The 'Fooooog Manoooouvre' was awesome. I fell for it completely. Only as I was PM'ing Ricey did I realise that it could be a trap, and even then I didn't fully see the potential consequences until a little later. Afterwards, I felt such an idiot. That, coupled with the post-adrenaline rush, made me feel rather ill, so having posted a little in a vain attempt to deflect from my mistake, I switched off the computer and watched some TV instead. I was rather pleasantly surprised in the morning to find the outcome! Incindentally, I know full-well from my one time playing Town that when you've got someone pinned down, it really doesn't matter what they say in their defence - it'll get torn to pieces. Had I said I was in PM with someone unrelated to the game, it would (a) have been met with sarcasm ('how convenient at that moment') and (b) have admitted to the PM thing. My only hope was to convince Tammo - who was already suspicious of Foog - that it was megablocks, and then prod him into voting for Fooog, which he did. The real spanner in the works for us was def replacing Peanuts. Our gameplay had revolved around keeping suspicious people in the game; we killed CM over Foog for the very reason that we knew Tammo was suspicious of him. This paid off, even if it did allow Foog's heart-attack manouvre. Peanuts had been under suspicion since day one, and - with the greatest respect - he isn't perhaps so skilled at talking himself out of trouble; def is an extremely skilled and experienced player, who could spot scum on the moon, and is additionally able to put forth a compelling argument. Had def been playing from day one, he'd have been one of the first night targets. I'm glad to have won, but I'm thoroughly ashamed of myself for falling for Foog's trick. Nice one, fella - you have my greatest respect (and future fear) for that.
  2. 'Viewing the Portal' means viewing the Frontpage. It is usually a sign that someone has opened a new window, often (in mafia) to disguise what they are doing; but equally they could just have joined EB, or be looking at other day threads etc. It doesn't mean they are scum, necessarily - I used the same tactic in The Forest to disguise the fact that I was using Personal Messenger (that game was played almost entirely in PM).
  3. Access granted, welcome to the Academy!
  4. It is, but you can advertise in your signature, which you're already doing
  5. Still more Thanks grohl!
  6. Yes, Apoc goes into Sci-Fi. It is official I'll move it.
  7. If it's okay with you, Luxor, I'll move this to Special so we can have all the Fabuland resources in one place.
  8. I didn't accuse him of anything, and right now I think he's a confused townie who is trying to work out how you scum have manouevred yourselves so close to winning. So you say, but we have only your word for it that you are loyal. This whole set-up looks carefully contrived, as only people communicating privately could achieve. And we all know only the scum can communicate privately. Something to say to make yourself appear town, and to convince the others to vote with you and seal their doom. As above, I didn't accuse you of anything, other than hesitating to post, which if for the same reason as me was because you were totally confused by Fuschia's vote/unvote. So you say. I doubt that very much. I've had no private conversations with anyone in this room, alive or dead. Fuchsia's accusation is a load of horseshit. Think about this - the scum have to convince us to vote out one of our own today. How do they go about that? They cast a spurious vote, apropos of nothing, and knowing it will make everyone pause and wonder what the hell is going on. Then they accuse anyone who reacts at all of being scum jumping on the bandwagon. What better way to get a lynch going against a townie? No, Petra, it is you and your scum-mate Fucshia who reek. Since I can't vote for both of you, I'll vote for the one who started this: Vote: Fuchsia (Fugazi)
  9. I didn't defend myself as I didn't seriously think you were going to vote for me: I am loyal, and have done nothing wrong. If you want to hand victory to the scum this way, then so be it, but please think carefully before you go through with this. I have already given my reasons for voting for Amy in the only vote where it was possible to to get an 'all-town' record, and I have contributed as best I can throughout this ordeal - far from 'flying under the radar'. We discussed the vote for Irena yesterday; personally I think the scum would have been careful to avoid being seen to not vote for Irena, whereas I voted for Amy because I honestly thought she was scum. I was trying to work out what on earth you were playing at. I repeat: Tammo did something very similar, and perhaps for the same reason I did. Please think carefully about this, guys. If you lynch me today, and there are two scum, then the scum win. You said youself, Fuschia, today is not a day for rash voting. Tammo and Richelle - consider the possibility that Petra and Fuschia are the scum, and this is their play for the win. Anything is possible. All I can say is lynching me today is the worng thing to do, and most likely will hand victory to the scum.
  10. Just to clarify, by you I meant Fuschia, not Tammo.
  11. I was about to ask you what the hell you were doing - it seemed a very odd thing to do. Before I could reply, you had unvoted. I noticed Tammo too was preparing to speak at the time, then seemed to think better of it. I'm not sure that you should read too much into this - I for one was thinking 'WTF?' and I'm sure everyone else was too, after you had rightly warned us not to be hasty today. My initial reaction was that you must be scum.
  12. Maybe it's deliberate. Maybe raccoons eat flies?
  13. I too saw Fuschia vote, and wondered what the hell she was doing. As she herself said, we mustn't get this wrong. So what did you discover? We need to be open about this, if we want to get it right. Or are you just playing us all for fools?
  14. Hello, rmorrison100, and welcome to Eurobricks. Please take note that we prefer you not to bump two year old topics unless you have something relevant to add. Also, I'd suggest you introduce yourself in the Introductions Forum. Otherwise, have fun around the boards. Thanks!
  15. Mmmm, Ricky has a lovely little hotrod there! I particularly like the use of the tap pieces, especially for the exhausts at the side It's not often we see MOCs from you Rick, you should post more!
  16. Very original! I really like this - an interesting approach to the camouflage problem, and very organic, even though it looks to be held together with Magic and Persuasion. I'd like to see the what it looks like with mudguards, and also a picture of the underside would be nice
  17. I would point out that there's been only one opportunity to vote 'right', and I have already explained ad nauseam why I voted for Amy on that day. Not knowing who was scum, I voted for whom I thought was the most suspicious. Let's not forget that you changed your vote inexplicably on that day. I said yesterday that I thought you or Amy were scum. Amy, it transpires, wasn't. As to who the other scum might be, I think Tammo or Richelle is most likely. Tammo, who backtracks too heavily after voting for loyals (today is not the first time she's done it, if I remember correctly, but I will check); and Richelle, who speaks little and contributes less.
  18. Oh, shit. I was so sure about Amy, and I was certain we'd be waking up today with a good chance of getting through this. I can't believe we were wrong about her, after her behaviour yesterday. I agree with Petra that it's likely there are two scum left, so it's lynch or lose today. However good the odds might be for catching a scum with a random vote, though, we must be careful to avoid rash decisions. That's easy to say, but just because you're feeling better doesn't mean you've switched sides! We had already raised a suspicion over your voting record; I'll be looking at that again today. Then why did you? And how did you 'know'? Personally, I was certain we'd caught a scum.
  19. Fuzzylegobricks, kindly refrain from posting when you don't have anything constructive to say. Thanks.
  20. Other Themes? What's that?? I'll move this over to Special, the home of Military MOCs

  23. Thanks, Allwyn! I'll need to wait for some confirmation before I get too excited, though they certainly look official. It's an internationally-recognised icon, much like the Grenadier Guard, so I think it's quite possible.
  24. Tag pimp to Shadows whore - [ISC gave me this. I think it's some kind of puzzle. Maybe an anagram? ] Edit: Apes who might stop a word? Who staged this warm poop?? I don't know
  25. Yay! Then keep doing it ! Any chance of a shot of Blue Thunder and White Lighting together? They clearly make a matching pair
