  1. While unloading coal from this 6-wide tan SCANIA R-class truck, one worker was seriously injured......(....e.g broken ABS...) Pls let me have your comments. and...yes...he is slowly recovering.......
  2. I assume you mean the chrome silver tanks !(?) I concider them as quite unusual, and they were part of a Lego 4 Juniors, set 4652, which I bought two set of, just to get those tanks, back in 2003 ! Lego ref = 45408, I saw there were a few on BL. Size of them are rather 1,5 x 4 studs, so in between the two tanks I put 3 x 3701 (Technic brick 1x4) + over them some half-stud tiles to get the complete package in center of the 6-wide truck. Here are the two trucks that I have, with those special fuel tanks.
  3. Here is my MOC Shell tanker, 6-wide semi-trailer design. I always liked Shell tankers and stations from the early 70's when I first got into Lego, and when I saw set 1252-1 a few years ago, I thought it was far too small and unrealistic. So I made this..... What do you think ?
  4. You bet ! fantastic buildings and details. I also agree with other comments, that the colour scheme is very "real and town-like". In many MOC buildings I think a common mistake is to have too much bright classic lego colours like yellow, red and blue, but you manage the balance in colours in an almost perfect way. Also, I might copy some of your nice roof and fasade solutions
  5. Regarding the tan-red BR 103 engine, my colour scheme is rather exact to what it was in "real life". The white-brown BR 111 engine, existed in a similar but white-orange colour scheme (among several other colour schemes). Thanks for positive comments I intend to also upload pictures of my Swedish locomotives, from "SJ" =Swedish state railways, so you will have a chance to see even more european electric train MOCS
  6. Perhaps my Post Truck could do you some service, for example to distribute all the parcels from lego shop@home which are on their way to eager Lego fans... http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3969438
  7. Picture is taken in my home, bur I normally just make small sceanarios for photographing, so I don't have a large layout. The wite-brow engine, is a design by James Mathis, namely a German BR class 111, which in james version is white-orange, which in fact was a colour scheme that existed in real life. Mine got a white-brown colour, but is otherwise a quite correct copy to James model. And, yes I enjoy building several similar (or rather exact) designs but with different colours. I started with making copies of locomotives like 4564, and 4565. Later I discovered 10183 and made 3 different colours of the design I enjoyed mostly - which also happen to be a James Mathis design as it turned out. Lately I have tried to focus on making 6-wide replicas of locomotives from Sweden, like the famous RC-series and the older DA. Also, as in this post mu own MOC of BR 103. I am glad you enjoyed my models :-)
  8. My version of the famous German express train "Rhein Gold" TEE, with a BR class 103 engine. In tan-red colour scheme, with advanced SNOT technices on the sides, note the 1 plate (1 tile) thickness in both directions between the light bluish gray bricks with grille. I used the speed racer windscreen, which I think fits nicely to this smoothly shaped engine. When Emerald night came I made some corresponding waggons in tan-red as well, since tan windows became available on Bricklink. Pls let me have your comments ! More pictures on brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=269364 My excuses to German readers if my terminology is not 100% accurate...I am from Sweden.....
  9. Here's a first try to post something on eurobricks. A Scania R-series truck, 6-wide, which makes things more challenging. Can you see any resemblance with the original truck or ? Pls post your comments, if any. For more pictures pls see brickshelf, user name = selander.
