A+ review. Great series of high quality pictures - no questions left open. Lots of work! Thank you very much. I'm not sure about the set. But I'm sure that i love the figs in it and considering a buy just because of them.. -
Amazing job. I love the way you rebuilt nature and make it look like nature. That's pretty hard with lego and not very often achieved at this level. Great work. All those details and little stories and scenes really add even more to this fantastic moc... could look at it for an hour always discovering something new...

i already saw this moc on flickr and have to say: GREAT! love the leds and the enhaced interior and had instantly a "want have" feeling... some details are amazing. would be no harm adding some more shots :thumbup: just looked at it "large" on flickr and have to add: GREAT DETAILS!!!!! I NEED MORE PHOTOS!!!!

thanks a lot for the new pictures.. finally.. just waiting for a good one of the salveI and boba... i can understand why tlc didn't make a new pilot for the wampa cave ($$$$) but still... that's pretty... you know... they make a "fig only set" (i don't think anyone buys this for the cave... ok the speeder is nice but certainly not a high priority must have for most people) and then they don't even make another pilot..and all the people buying bp already have tons of this pilot... but ok, i'll buy it anyway...

i love those big-scale projects! still, you really build a lot of details... can't wait to see the finished based. as i kid i could look at pictures like that for hours always discovering something new...

Thanks for this "no question open" review! really well done! The Guard and Boba really rock, but I'm still not sure about han in carbonite..he should be in my colection but i just don't like the way tlc made this "minifig"

Boba - my all-time hero.. a tribute: The picture is not as sharp as I wanted it to be but I'm allready pushing the limits of my pocket-cam for those low-light shots... whats interessting is that the prints on the helmet look a little 3D... Sorry for no-setup shot, but there is no real setup. Just a black sheet of paper as background and my phone as only lighting source... here's what i used for the background-buildings at mos eisley and as rocks for the tusken shots: it came in the box of my w-lan modem (some kind of card-board protection where the pieces fitted in). added some doors and wiondows with a brown marker..

Cheers for the pics! OMG! Can't wait to get the Slave one. Or at least a bigger picture of the new Boba Fett. Best character in the whole SW universe. I think the Slave 1 will be the only ship i will have in my collection... Bossk - that's cool! I'm not sure if I buy the Wampa set or only the figs... anyway - great sets!

REVIEW: 8396 Soldier's Arsenal & 8397 Pirate Survival

I'm not really into pirates, just traded my last figs. But yesterday I was in my local supermarket and saw 8396 Soldier's Arsenal on sale (reduced to $1.50) and could not resist buying the last 7 boxes remaining. It's a very cool set with nice to have spare parts as you already stated in your very fine review. I still prefer the old ones but for any collector it's perfect to build up an army for quite a decent price (even not on sale)...
