Thanks Lego12. You haven't been paying attention to 'Enough' lately, have you?

Ha, wait, he's already taking a break. Thanks.

Just some minifigs I made. Some inspired by COD4. First up, a Russian military Leader: I think that face resembles a certain leader nicely. Next, a Chinese Assassin: Just testing if a minifig could grip the handle of a PSG1 when its in the clip of a balaclava. Some bad guys: Always good for a MOC. My Chinese army leader: Really like the combo of the bandana and the helmet here. And no, I don't have a full sized Chinese army. A lone wolf: Testing what that face looked like on a plain torso. Reconnaissance/... I dunno, what do you think they look like?: Here I was putting printed legs with torsos that I felt blended. The guy with the camera doesn't look like a soldier, I know. But still. And lastly, a Russian "task-handler": Inspired by whatshisname in COD4. You know, Zakhaev's son, in the blue tracksuit. Thanks for looking.

If you still haven't: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6. Part 7: Be there, or Abbey Square. Last time, the group left the crossroads, leaving Jake with a magnum, which he never got to use. Now they have reached Abbey Square, a place which supposedly has a large camp, set up to keep survivors together and alive. Boy, were they wrong: "Where is everyone?" "Maybe in here?" "Well?" "Nothing. At all." Jack: "Whats in there?" "Nothing. This is strange." Sang: "What?" Captain: "Well, there was supposed to be a camp here. So far, we haven't seen anything... at all. Not even one person." Captain: "Once again: Nothing." "Hey, whats out there?" Both: "Grass!" Captain: "Hey guys. Get up here." "What?" Captain: "Look out there." All: "Oh." "Well, you know what this means. We can cut through the park. We'll save about a day of travelling." "What? We can't just leave the truck. I put my heart and soul into that thing, and you wan't me to just forget about it?" Captain: "Look, guys. Its getting dark. Sleep on it. We'll decide tomorrow." The next day: "Come on." "Jack." After a long-winded conversation, the decision was (unfortunately) to split up. The left side would take the truck and try and drive around the park. The right side would go through the park. "Hope we see you before you see us." "Good luck." Now, notes: 1. Sorry again about the lighting. 2. As always, the next parts date is unknown. 3. If you liked the setting of this part (Abbey Square, no not the name, the MOC), be sure to check the Brickarms Forums later for something special. 4. The 4th last pic (just in cas someone gets mixed up) is a handshake. Its not that bothe men are talking and their hands accidentally hit eachothers. 5. I still haven't updated Brickshelf, mainly because it takes a very long time, which I don't have to spare. Thanks for looking

That wall on the right there is surely the best blood effect i've seen. Makes me want to go watch Kill Bill, again. I really like this MOC. The micro background looks like the best brick saving technique, since... Well, the only thing is just yesterday, I was planning to enter a different contest (on a different site) with an entry that included a guy with two swords (not Pirates or castle) and who was also stabbing and cutting and slicing (which if I don't get away with, you'll be the meddling kid ) Anyway, really great entry And good luck in the contest.

Is Technic usage in System sets good or bad?
Skinny Boy replied to Zarkan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
But that topic was started 4 days after this one . I feel there isn't too much technic in system sets. Like what has been said, SW and MM have a good bit, but it belongs there. The combine harvester of next years City line, will have plenty in the framework of the harvesting blades, as we have seen. -
I believe LuxorV went on holidays during the summer, and considering his absence lately, he may still be away. I don't know . Try PMing him/other decal makers.

I think it could be back to advertise the Factory products. But its sold out .

I'm very happy. My Brickarms arrived today! Yay Aswell as a certain discussion which took up English class this morning

I love the story of Guy Fawkes. And by story, I mean what happened, not that its some kind of fairy tale . Very nice MOC. I've been trying to get those bigger barrels from BL for ages, but when I order them, I always get the small ones . Oh well, will you be doing more MOCs like this?

Question regarding creating your own figs
Skinny Boy replied to Barbaros's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Are you referring to the Decal wish list topic? I don't think there is such a place we can send them, but I would love it if there was (LuxorV, are you reading this ). Fulfilled requests are meant to be printed by those who requested them. -
New airport? Even if it is crap, could someone show some pics?
-
Thansk for all the help guys. I suppose it is a bit expensive, since I want it for parts. But it was only a question. Now, back to my wanted list .
-
Actually it is, sorry I should have posted that. Its just, a few years ago, I had access to a school supply store (we had a catalog ) and they sold sets like these. One of my parents is a teacher, and so we could purchase from the store, so I just figured someone else out there might have the same situation, or just came by the set somewhere else. Just because its Dacta, doesn't mean people outside a school cannot own it. Right ?

Doing a search on BL for a certain part, I ended up at the list of sets its in (as usual), and I saw one which i've never seen before. Here it is: Set: 9332-1 Town Developers Set All I wanna know is, does anyone have it, or have they seen it? Obviously someone has, since theres one available (for nearly $200 ) on BL. It says it was released in 2007 and even has an inventory. If theres anyone who does have it, and didn't buy it for a parts pack (like I would have ) could you show us some pics. Yes, you might say I can see everything there in the pic... but still . Thanks for reading.

Great luck you got there. I wouldn't think there isn't that much Lego in Spain. Do you get annual 'Brick - droughts'? And Ireland, for Lego sake!
-
Yay. Another fourteen year old . (We should start some kinda group around here, we've already got a Fellow ) Hope you had a great B-Day .

Somebody bid! Its only €1 with less than 10 mins!!!

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Skinny Boy replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Not that close. As usual, TLC making new sets available for Christmas, inpossible. -
Actually, thats a really good question . I guess I could say... that with Nick (the guy in gray with the big gun) shooting everything and anything, they wouldn't really think of aiming at their heads. Especially since it was their first attack, and there was a good few there. Back in School tomorrow, so it looks like one part per weekend again .

After watching an episode an hour ago, I must say: Spot on. Thats one amazing convertible you got there. Almost too realistic.

Just in case: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5 Part 6: Forgetful Ways. Last time, most of the group were in a red building at a crossroads when an attack had just started. (Sorry... but) Lets see how it ended: Thats Corporal Sang flanking. Jake gets on with cleaning up: "Looks like the last of 'em." Look who it is (note the octan barrel): Captain: "Sang!" "The others are back." "And then more came." "The truck's all set." "Come on man." "You know, I think i'm gonna stay." "Well I don't. What do you mean?" "I lived and worked here before the outbreak. I'm pretty sure i'll die if I go. I'd much rather stay." "Well if you have to stay,- -take this." "And here's some bullets." "Come on kid!" "Hope you get out ok." Captain: "So what took ya?" "I was just giving Jake my gun. He insisted on staying." "Jake? I knew a soldier called Jake." "Poor guy got his thumb blown off." Sang: "Your stories are always so inspiring." Captain: "Shut up Sang." "So Jack, where we heading?" Jack: "Abbey Square." Anyone know how to kill a zombie? Headshot. (look at the one in red/black in the earlier pic) And now (domdidadaaaam ) the notes: 1. Apologies: for bad lighting, blurriness and a short part. This was shot in a new location and was rushed, to make most of sunlight (yeah, yeah, yeah I should have lights). 2. Even though most people will get it, the conversation at the end is between the group on the truck, not Jakes imagination or anything. 3. Very important: My FlickR account has been overused. Unless I buy a pro account, you will only be able to view the most recent part pictures. Because of that, I have changed the gallery link in my sig, to Brickshelf. Unfortunately not every pic is on BS yet, but they will be soon enough. 4. I know some of you really wanted to see an action packed battle. But because I had to rush this (which I hope won't happen again) I just didn't have time. Next battle, should be better. But don't rely solely on big battles to consider this a good sereis. It is meant to be suspenseful and somewhat dramatic . So enjoy. Thanks for looking.

You've been watching 'Toy Story' too much .

Thanks Bob. I knew people would like that part.
