The execution of President Bfuani. Still a WIP. Some feedback would be appreciated. Looks very bare without the supporters. Not that this is a lot bigger than it seems. Look at the surrounding building. Not just a wall my friend Not viewable are the arches on the upper floor. Thanks for looking.

More pics: Thanks for looking.

Dunno about the clip pieces, but the face and torso are part of the ghosts featured in the first HP sets. I use them for zombies. The chain, well its a chain, featured in many sets of many colours. Dunno what set has reddish brown ones.

A great looking set, but since I have all the figs, I'll probably pass. Good chance to get a crate, bench and stereo though.

Looks like a great set, but orange? I thought we were getting enough with Power Miners. The pilots torso looks cool from what I can see, and road maintenance is sooooo much better than construction.

Review: 8961 Power Miners ~ Crystal Sweeper
Skinny Boy replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Great review Erdbeeries This looks great! I wish I was at that age where I bought things just because they looked good, but I am not. I may have to look to BL for the great pieces. Though, theres hope... -
Again, I can't help but take pics of a WIP. This is following my 'Positive fix on...' vig. I've said too much, heres the pics: My Flickr, just in case. Thanks for looking.

What? Did you hear something? Is this a fact? I sure hope so

Thanks guys. You probably didn't see it with all the Power miners and Creator reviews. Well, despite being soldiers, the CBZD were not given any form of communicating equipment. Simply as leaders thought they would be going off at the wrong time, alerting Zombies and causing mass deaths. Don't worry, the next part/s will be very surprising(once its considered a drama...of sorts )

Great tanks Aaron Whats with the smoke in the dio pic? Cool effect, or bad habit?

Hmmm. I really want to print my first decals, and yet, I'm still confused. How big are your post-its LuxorV? I can't see my ones being large enough to cover a figs torso. Also, could someone tell me where decal paper can be bought? Would most office supply stores have them, or are they a specialty item? And finally, sort of off topic, how are decal designs resized to fit the torsos? Is it using MS paint, and if so, what exactly is done? I know of the image resizer, but I hate working with percentages Thanks for any help.

Ha ha! The skeleton's a great touch . Well done

Completely disagree with you on the figs. There's five, all brand new, though two have the same torso. I hate fleshies aswell, but only short-round has skin showing on the front, and Willie on her back. Considering Race for the Stolen treasure was the same price, with one less fig, and three of the same torsos, I would say this set is fair value. Depends on what theme you're into. I have found a use for pretty much everything already.

TLC made a quick choice with this one. If it hadn't been Yellow, it would have been the perfect chopper Still a great set. Lots of modding helps. Thanks for the review Brickster

Part 13: Radio Ga Ga. Last time (yesterday ) team 2 found themselves in a working broadcast booth, of Cedar Bay's E.N.U. FM. The captain could not turn down this chance of getting out of the city. Nick and Carl disagreed and thought he was trying to contact other survivors. They didn't stop him, and realised his point: it was time to leave: "Ok, we're on all frequencies." "Hello, this is Captain Charlie Fay, 1st platoon CBZD. Does anyone read me?" Charlie (the captain ) repeats his message until he gets a response (lucky megablock head). He has no idea who it is, until they reveal themself: Voice: "Hello? Did you say you're Captain Fay?" "Yes, I did. Who is this?" Voice: "This is Lieutenant Grant, CBZAC, BM 11." "BM 11? You're in a chopper?! Well, this is Captain Fay requesting pickup." "Sure we'll pick you up. Whats your location?" "We're in some radio station. A coffe mug says 'ENU FM'." "Wow, you're too close to the Hospital for pickup. You guys mobile?" "We lost our transport, but yeah we could all use a good walk." "Lets see... our nearest CLZ is... the docks. Dock 13 to be precise. You know where it is?" "Hang on." "Carl! Go to the roof, and locate the docks." "Ok hang on a minute." One minute later: "They're to the South. I saw a clear path through the alleyways." "Lieuteneant, we've located the docks. We're on our way." "Ok. Our E.T.A.'s about 15 minutes, so get movin." "Roger. Captain Fay, out." Sang (reading): "Cedar Bay's final move." Captain: "What?" Sang: "Just some news article." Captain: "Well what't say?" Sang: "They're gonna nuke the city." Captain: "What! When!?" Sang: "Today." Captain: "Oh Jesus. Don't tell the others." Captain: "C'mon!" "The docks are this way." Exciting eh? Notes: 1. Part 14... Not till after Christmas, unfortunately. Although, it will sort of be in two parts. I might make a poll asking if people would like to see it split, so they can see the 1st half next week. 2. I know that was short, but y'all wouldn't have liked it if I had a pic for each line of dialogue, now would ya? 3. The abbreviations used, are sort of obvious. CBZD, is Cedar Bay Zombie Defense. CBZAC is CBZ Aerial Control. CLZ is Cleared Landing Zone (most would already know Landing Zone). Thanks for looking.

Actually the next part has nothing to do with its number! Erm, yes, in the last part, 11. Don't you remember? Sid was laying under a shelter when the group arrived. Thanks for the comment on the sets. I thought people wouldn't like this one because the carpark was so bare, but is supposed to be... eery :pir-skull: I'm unsure of the next part being today. It could be, because its very simple, yet I don't have a lot of free time today. So, who knows. Thanks guys.

Just got word from my parents in Germany, that they found this set and I'll be receiving it when they get home. I am extatic right now . Black fedora's

Part 12: Alleys, alleys everywhere, so lets go on the brink. Last time, the group experienced a twist of fate (and faint) at the junkyard. Again, they were split into two teams: 1: Jack, Sid and Cpl. Hayes. 2: Captain, Nick, Carl and Cpl. Sang. Jack's group went through the crushed cars and eventually ended up here: Hayes: "Where are we?" "Well, I see containers..." Jack: "I see the ocean... so i'm guessing its a dockyard." "Empty." "Same here." Jack: "Great- -I'm exhausted.- -We'll check the containers in the morning." The morning. North East of the dockyard. Team 2 is so close to the hospital, they can smell it. They are in the parking lot of a skyscraper: "Well, we ain't gettin through that anytime soon. Sang. Check out the building." Several minutes later: "Ground floor's clear, but its about 5 or 6 high." Captain: "Alright. Maybe we'll be able to see an alternate route from an altitude." "What is that?" "It looks like a broadcasting booth. I think this is a radio station." Sang: "Oh." Captain: "What?" "Its operational." Thanks for looking. Part 13, may be tomorrow, i'm unsure, so keep checking the forums.

What is it about you that makes newscasters like you so much? Twice on BBC and now LAML. You really are getting yourself and your work out there. Great job on the vid, very informative

You know, I actually don't own these plates! They are from the old divers sets from the 90's, that my brothers bought. I think I shall clean them now.

Well, I thought they were implied with the figs but no. I was saying there is no scenery, no rocks, no nothing. Yet...
