  1. No point blaming Lego just because you can't be bothered to do some research (or even read a few pages back in this thread)
  2. I just can't wait for the pictures to come out. Those sith troopers are looking fabulous. Definitely demonstrates that a lot of amount of detail is not a bad thing at all.
  3. God bless you sir and thank you very much indeed. Those pictures have restored my faith in Lego designers in relation to Malevolence. That makes a lot of sense. I prefer it a lot better than those silly swords we have seen so far in rumours. Leave the swords for the Ninjas I say. Praise the Lord that seems to be true indeed. Whatever clueless creature had set up the Malevolence in the previous picture had left the flaps open. Check my sig for a picture of what Malevolence looks like.
  4. No pictures of Malevolence? Why is it being kept so secret?
  5. They don't at all. They have different colour fur to start with. As far as I know is going to be GB£120 so I would expect the European price to be more like 140 euro or so.
  6. Thank you. For some very strange reason I really like those two robots and since I had nowhere to put them I just stuck them in that corner.
  7. Here are some updated pics of my minifig collection (about 6 missing but they're on the way):
  8. If one has enough patience they could actually make a brick inventory themselves and buy the bricks from Bricklink. It would work out a lot less expensive.
  9. As much as it fetches on ebay I think. There are no specific price guidelines as such. One simply has to study ebay for a while in order to find out the average price. My guess is about 50% more than its original price.
  10. A very cute creation indeed. Looks like a cross between a tank and a Ford Fiesta. The colour is exactly like a Fiesta's too. Loving it, well done.
  11. I am not 100% sure but when I compare the picture that I have seen with the Malevolence in my signature picture there's barely any resemblance and the distortion is huge, especially the back half of the ship. But as I said more pictures may prove me wrong (fingers crossed).
  12. From what I have seen so far I'd rather have the midi-scale any day. In fact if the Malevolence comes out looking the way it does in that picture then I will just stick to the old one. Disfiguring the outside look so that the inside looks better? Surely Lego hasn't got that overconfident to make a stupid mistake like that? I mean, I hope not anyway.
  13. Holy mother of God. What sort of heartless talentless criminal has defaced malevolence to that extent? The front of the ship (particularly the upper front) looks way too flat whereas the back of the ship looks too fat. I am just hoping and praying that the reason why the back of the ship looks that way is because the upper flaps in the back section have been raised too much. Why couldn't Lego just improve the previous version of Malevolence? Here is a picture of the model I built following Lego's instructions. In comparison to this the new ship looks like it has been pumped with steroids.
  14. Katana resembles it most. At least the blade is 90% there.
  15. Man, I didn't really want to start collecting the Lego LotR minifigures as well but after seeing those pictures I have no choice but to follow my heart
  16. Some updated pics of my minifig collection . About 6 or 7 from latest wave missing but are on the way :
  17. I doubt that very much. 99% of the topics in here are constructive and not repetitive. They talk about different sets, bricks, etc. When people discuss the minifigure subject they pretty much bang on about the same thing over and over again "these eyes are clone wars, those eyes are not...".
  18. I don't really see how those pics can actually illustrate the difference because the two characters look quite similar. The only difference noticed is that the CW character has slightly larger and rounded eyes. Anyhow, the CW style characters are here to stay at least for as long as TCW series will go on so is it possible not to have endless pages of debating about CW features again please? It's the same story every year and it's just getting boring and annoying.
  19. The old generation always finds it difficult to cope with change so they just hate everything that is not "like in the old days".
  20. You're not a hardcore OT fan are you?
  21. It is not the fault of those who design the minifigures. In my opinion there are two reasons why what you saying is happening: First, the minifigures are improving but the sets are not and Second, it looks like Lego is not willing to take any risks with new designs at all and they are just bringing out sets that will sell.
  22. Why start a thread when you can't be bothered? Lego has made around 300 SW minifigures so far. Out of all of them you managed to find 2? Sorry to sound so harsh but please make an effort.
  23. Now that is pure imagination. lol You can't get those sort of creatures anywhere else but SW
  24. WOW! That is superb. Even the minifigures are made of bricks (a sort of Lego's version of Cubedudes). My most favourite is the Mos Eisley cantina scene, especially the Tusken Raiders and their beasts. Why can't Lego bring out a set like that for us?
