  1. And a Central of Georgia version: I think I might be starting to make Andy (OKBrickWorks) crazy with all the different liveries I've been coming out with, he's done a beautiful job so far with the rest
  2. Pennsylvania livery: Does require a total of 17 3D printed 1x2 bricks with grill in dark red (or one can go with black or reddish brown but it wouldn't look the same)
  3. More of a challenge to use as less stickers as possible and brick build it (like the zigzag on the UP). For example: all ready concluded that a CN version would require to many masking stickers.
  4. I know, I even did that search some time ago. There’s a lot more but not all are worthy of being build and from those that are, not all are buildable. So much easier when you can just paint the model
  5. I am getting the parts together for the Interstate version and will do one more after that but not yet decided which one. Won’t build them all, that would cost a fortune. I am however designing at least 3 more, possibly 5 (kinda like the idea of “a dozen ES44AC’s” ?)
  6. missed this post? https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/169244-coming-soon-a-whole-fleet-of-es44s/
  7. thx for all the kind comments, she sure was a pain to design. But now I have her designed in 7 liveries and working on even more
  8. She does without any problems
  9. Now that she's finally finished, complete with custom decals from OKBrickWorks, it is time to give her a proper thread. She turned out to be one of my most complex diesel engines to design and build, took almost 2 years to actually have her build as I just couldn't find a good solutions for the vents at the back. Containing over 1800 pieces, 2 PF train motors to power her, brickbuild zigzag in the stripes and a pretty complex nose, she's going to be a head turner for sure. The 1x2 plates and 1x2 plates with ladder are custom chromed from Chrome Block City. The enige in the back is my older SD70 That part of the build that caused a lot of design problems The complex nose Awesome decals by OKBrickWorks One last treat, together with the VIRGINIAN 2-8-8-8-4 triplex:
  10. bit of an old thread to bump, no? Nonetheless: the plans are available on my Bricklink (link to it is in sig.) I don't even own her anymore, sold her about 1,5 years ago to a fan of my work. If you like the SD70 than the ES44AC's that I've released the past few weeks should really please you to, even more liveries than what I did with SD70's
  11. Finally got some more work done on the BNSF version, getting ready to release.
  12. Still WIP as I'm 3 bricks short to completing her
  13. ES44AC Union Pacific WIP maiden run by Barduck12, on Flickr
  14. You can either order them on my Bricklink or send a mail to OKBrickWorks to get them.
  15. size comparison with my SD-70
  16. Do you mean this one: https://www.google.be/search?q=iowa+interstate+es44ac&client=safari&channel=iphone_bm&prmd=ivsn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjc_9mR9fvfAhUIPFAKHd45DJ4Q_AUoAXoECA4QAQ&biw=375&bih=553&dpr=2#imgrc=CPrBCaZ2AqdsIM From first glance it may be possible although the white stripe is very thin. There will be stickers to mask places where it’s impossible to brickbuild the stripe, that’s sure. I’ll have to look in to it but all ready got a lot on my plate with current fleet (have to correct the problems I found on all 6 that are already online and have the BNSF version to finish. And then there’s the CN and Orange County versions I have to look at), so it’ll take a bit of time (still have a day job, well night job actually, besides LEGO)
  17. WIP ES44AC UP Still missing a lot of bricks but now that I'm actually building her I can filter out problems more easily. expect updates to all instructions to be online very soon
  18. The work continues, the Conrail version is now ready and up on my bricklink. Next one is the NS heritage "INTERSTATE"
  19. 2 out of 7 (and hopefully in time even more) are already on my bricklink: the Canadian Pacific and the Norfolk Southern. The rest will follow in the weeks to come. I'm also proud to announce that I'm also listing the sticker for them on my bricklink. These will be made by OKBrickworks at their know quality (thanks for all the help on these Andy) edit: And now the Union Pacific version is ready and on my Bricklink (this is my favourite and for the moment one of 2 I'm building my self, other one is the Interstate version)
  20. the Interstate will be a little different than it is in this render. After some talking with Andy (OKBrickworks) we've decided to make the dark bluish grey part a plate thicker, so that the name is easier to make. It doesn't change a whole lot and the look stays about the same
  21. The Interstate (NS heritage) also finished (PDF and partlist still to make but checked for non-existing parts)
  22. They're done in Studio 2.0, at resolution 4096x2304, front view in very high quality (takes an hour) and rear view in high quality (takes a half hour)
  23. Finished the render of the CSX version, got to say, really like this color combination. Had to do some changes in parts but all in all, apart from the panel above, nothing difficult. Notice that I had to change the top of the nose in black as the slopes needed don't exist in dark blue.
  24. Started to port the CSX from LDD to MLCad and ran in to the problem that the "bracket 1x2 - 1x2 up" (in red in this breakdown) doesn't exist in Dark Blue. I use it in the model on 2 occasions and it's really needed to get the right look. So I had to find another solution to create the same effect. Using a "bracket 1x2 - 2x2 up" this time (in mint green here) and had to do a pretty complicate work around in order to get it at the same place for the same look (well, it may not look complicated anymore but trust me, it took around an hour of trying different solutions to find this one)
