  1. Sorry about that. Try again if you can, many are getting through. Cheers Inger
  2. It's probably off topic (if so please "kindly" redirect me to the appropriate forum) but Lego have given me two sets of The Hobbit An Unexpected Gathering to giveaway through my site: http://www.thebricklife.com/lego-an-unexpected-gathering-79003-set-review/ For Aussie fans only. Cheers Inger
  3. Hi Guys Not sure if this has been posted by anyone but I found the Lego 30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard Hobbit Set at Toys R US online today. There is a bigger image on my site here: http://www.thebricklife.com/lego-30212-mirkwood-elf-guard-hobbit-set/ Or just head over to Toys R Us. Cheers Inger
  4. Is is just me or has Amazon.co.uk put a stop to shipping most Lego sets overseas? This happened in the last few hours (Sunday Afternoon)-can anyone else confirm so I know it's not just me? Are the days of cheap sets over (again) :-) ? Cheers
  5. Hey Might be a bit late sorry... As Darkness said, Amazon.fr is good You could also try http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?p=ChromeBricks as his shipping is 25 EUR. I've heard he is a nice guy and his feedback is reputable. Fishpond (collective groan) have it at $499 including shipping. It ships from the US, takes a month or so but it does ship eventually. Others will tell you of their reputation but if you do want to order local then this is the best local price. Cheers Inger
  6. Cheers No problems about using the scan, thanks for the link too...always nice Cheers Inger
  7. Hey :-) Yes, the page is from the back of the latest Australian Lego Club Magazine (Sept-Dec 2012). You can see the post here: http://www.thebricklife.com/lego-2013-first-sneak-peek-image/ Sorry for self-promotion, I'm just excited about what it could be :-) and love hearing what everybody thinks Cheers Inger
  8. Hi I found this image on the back of the Lego Club Magazine. Is it Speedorz or something else? I had a look on the board and couldn't find any other new Lego themes. Sorry if it has been featured before: If the image doesn't work it is here as well: http://www.thebricklife.com/lego-2013-first-sneak-peek-image/ Cheers Inger
  9. Next On Shop4Me is: 12 pm: Mini Modulars for $84.96 1pm: R2-D2 For $224.99 Also, Outer Rim now have a whole heap of the new sets on their site, I think they are just waiting for the delivery van to arrive though
  10. Thanks for that TheDarkness. Must be the best price for Australians I have ever seen. Makes Toyworld's Offer look like the joke it is. Cheers
  11. Can't seem to ship to Australia but thanks anyway.
  12. I added a few pictures to my blog: http://www.thebricklife.com/lego-star-wars-summer-2012-sets-in-australia/ It was so hard not to buy any of the sets, especially Jabba's Palace. I am so pleased there is a sale tomorrow - thanks for letting us know! In other Myer stores was there the whole range of sets? There were a few missing in Brisbane CBD but I am hoping they were just out the back. Cheers
  13. Do you have a link to the sale tomorrow? I'm thinking the Jabbas Palace set might be worth picking up for 20% off. Brings it down to $160 which isn't too bad compared to $120 US retail (certainly better than the M Falcon Myer are still trying to sell for $249) Also do we have post where all the upcoming toy sales dates/deals are listed? Cheers
  14. The new Star Wars sets are at Myer in the Brisbane CBD store now :-) They had most except for Malevolence and Previzula. Full price (ready for the 20% off tomorrow) and no LOTR yet. Will the Myer sale also have an extra 10% off for Myer One? And no R2-D2 at the CBD Target store either :-( Cheers
  15. Mindstorms is £172.90 at Amazon.uk Less once you take off VAT, shipping is only £22 or so. Cheers greenpaw
  16. If you are happy to go offshore to order, Amazon.uk has it for a pretty good price (as long as you combine shipping with something else - DVDs, Blu Rays etc).
  17. I managed to get one just now. If you look in the Used and New (Plus de choix) area of the SSD page Amazon.fr is still listed as selling it for 319 EUR They aso have the Batcave reduced for 71 EUR and adding it doesn't change postage by more than a EURO or so. Cheers
  18. The Batcave is on B&N again. It works out to about AUS $85 shipped but for those who haven't ordered from there before, your box is almost guaranteed to be squashed so only order if you don't care about box condition. It's a bit hard to find, so search for "6860" The last lot they had sold out quickly so if you want it, don't hesitate
  19. Amazon France has Lego Minifigures Series 7 boxes for sale at a good price. It says out of stock but I think its just that they are waiting for stock to come in. You can still order. Cheers
  20. Just keep an eye on the NXT set as it has come back before. Also The Burrow is a great buy if you are into HP or just want to buy some to store away for future ebay purposes.
  21. Amazon.uk have Mindstorms NXT for £180 (less after VAT is removed) and also Black Pearl for £74.96 Both rather significant savings especially if you combine shipping Cheers
  22. Please accept my apologies. In hindsight I realize my error and can see how it must look from your point of view.
  23. Thanks for the feedback. There was no ill intent and I hope my overall contribution to the conversation here will be kept in perspective.
