  1. Fair enough. Then again, Tahu has the golden armor. Though he might not keep it... We'll see. Also, I don't give a crap about nostalgia. I guess my real hate for Tahu Nuva comes comes from his looks. Ugly mask, silver weapons instead of his fire sword... Tahu Mata's just more visually appealing. Of course, that's only from a set-viewpoint. :) -Mesonak
  2. How about no. I'd be more than happy if he stayed Mata. Nice info, ZotS. -Mesonak
  3. Ditto. -Mesonak
  4. I am, but it doesn't work well in that song, IMO. -Mesonak
  5. Thank you very much for the review! I am not a Power Miners fan, and I mainly stick with BIONICLE, but this review has made me consider getting this set. It's a drastic change from the previous Power Miners sets, that's a fact. The color scheme is going to take some getting used to, but I'm impressed with Firax and the claw arm. Also, treads are WANT. -Mesonak
  6. Really good? I think Taka looks awful in that pic. Seriously, they're just putting emphasis on his hunchback-ness. And what's with that black/trans green Av-Toran head? o_o Probably just a side-effect of the way they're doing the models, with the gray background and the black floor. Also, to the new CiMS: WIN. Sad that the rap remains though. =/ -Mesonak
  7. Link to support banner. As you can see, I am no graphics artist. But, I tried. Now, to spread the word to other fansites... -Mesonak
  8. Tilius, this is a splendid idea. I'm a "Bionicle Regular" as you put it, but I fully pledge my support to this endeavor. I will do whatever I can to spread the word of this to numerous other forums besides BZPower and Eurobricks. I agree with you; This isn't as far-fetched as some may think. If you want, I can also make support banners for use on BZP and here. -Mesonak
  9. So Gresh is a veteran, and Skrall have shadow powers. That's so awesome I'm tearing up. -Mesonak
  10. Well well well. Time to properly organize my thoughts on this matter. BIONICLE has been a very large part of my life since I was small. While this news was sad, it was to be expected. We here at Eurobricks have known this for months. So have many BZPower members. My friend, Starparu411, has been trying to convince BZPower of BIONICLE's end for a while now. BIONICLE has had a good run. 9 long years, filled with a very nice storyline, inventive sets, and more. It's time to put the line to rest. The story isn't ending, the new line will be BIONICLE-compatible and will not be Ben 10; I don't get why people are so upset. The torch has been passed. If we want the BIONICLE story to continue, it's up to us, the fans, on both Eurobricks, BZPower, and numerous other fan sites across the internet, to keep BIONICLE alive. Now, for the good things. This opens up so many new doors for Lego, and BIONICLE as a whole. We might finally get new torsos, new limbs, and a number of other things with this new line. In terms of the BIONICLE story, we might finally get character development, a story that's not so rushed, and more. This is, IMHO, one of the best decisions Lego could make in terms of BIONICLE. Well played, Lego. Well played. And does anyone else think they put this quote in The Legend Reborn: To kind of foreshadow this? I dunno. =/ Anyway, I have high hopes for the replacement line. And to me, BIONICLE hasn't ended. And it never will end, as long as we, the fans, are here to support it. -Mesonak
  11. He said, if I recall correctly, that Tahu, Gresh, Skrall, and Takanuva were the least exciting sets for 2010. This was before we saw Zirahk and Nektann. That's what I think he meant, but I may be wrong. Also, I'm fairly happy about this news. It gives the BIONICLE story a chance to flourish and make a new line as well. -Mesonak
  12. See this is what I expected Nektann to look like. But look what we got. Moving along, this is fantastic. Custom thighs are awesome, and the spear is nice as well. Great work Front. -Mesonak
  13. MN does do something. He points at Tahu as he materializes out of nowhere. :P Stars Teaser from newest Lego Mag. I don't know what to think. It's good I guess, and hopefully Tahu won't arrive on Bara Magna like that. It's probably just like the Matoro-Giant Vahki Leg-Scarabax Beetle teaser of last year, in that it won't actually happen in story. Some new details about the new feet: Looks like they only have one axle hole at the bottom. -Mesonak
  14. That's certainly interesting, and very puzzling as well. -Mesonak
  15. XD That's win. Imma go work on Chibi Takadox, Vahki, and Roodaka now. :P -Mesonak
  16. Yeah no. I want INIKA Stars. Seriously, the Inika were so awesome...Why did they have to turn into such abominations... =/ -Mesonak
  17. My friend on BZP asked the guy who got the info from Greg about the Piraka set what other info he got. This is his PM to me. Nothing really new except if there are STARS in the summer, either they'll be under a new Umbrella name, or no Toa Mata/Nuva will be in the line. IF is the key word. We might have a whole new line of people. :P -Mesonak
  18. With luck we'll get interesting stuff when he gets the catalog. =) -Mesonak
  19. They're not supposed to be interesting. They're just pics to prove to us that he's not lying. :P -Mesonak
  20. Tyranide said they were pics of the inside of a Lego office. Also, you guys do have a point. Just because he has Vezok's weapon and is blue doesn't neccesarily mean it's Vezok...We'll see. Is it possble that all te Piraka get fused into one? I doubt it, but just a thought. @The Dor: -Mesonak
  21. I don't think silver and white accurately represents shadow. o_o Lol. -Mesonak
  22. That...actually is a very good idea. -Mesonak
  23. How come Gresh has silver weapons? How come Vezok isn't a snake any more? How come the Skrall is green? How come Takanuva is silver and white? All of these characters have some changes that will probably be explained by some complex ignika transformation/regression/something else. So yeah, I think Tahu will "regress." Adaptive armor is a good possiblity, but it transforms them into forms that will best suit their enviroment. I can't see how Tahu's new form will do him any better on Bara Magna than his old form would have. But what of the other characters' transformations that we seem to be neglecting? @Cap'n Kopaka: I thought so too. o_o -Mesonak
  24. Guys. The original Tahu was one of the first emblems for Bionicle. The Stars, even if they are canon, are highlighting iconic sets from previous years. I highly doubt people remember Tahu Nuva as well as they do the original Tahu. And The Hau Mata was used in so many promotional things... They'll find some storyline way to make it possible, I'm sure, but those are my my thoughts.
  25. I have to agree with you on the merging of the three planets. =/ On everything else though... Awesome. We're not going back to the MU, the Stars are canon, and their size is not a factor in the story. I am at peace. =) -Mesonak
