  1. Yanno, I wonder whatever happened to the "Bulk and Vapour" set. I have no doubt in my mind it's a store exclusive, and that's why we haven't seen it yet. :P -Mesonak
  2. 1. Maybe in story. On the set, to me at least, it's just a jetpack on a hand. :P 2. Thunder. -Mesonak
  3. Hey, I loved the Makuta Mistika. :P But you do bring up a point. XPlode even uses a Krika leg as his sword... Lol. Those aren't even all the similarities. The green set leaves a lot t be desired, just like 2008. The yellow set looks even more mutant than the rest, and they all have the same lack of any real armor. Lol. Lol. They're good though... Except for Pinocchio-I MEAN CORRODER Also, I would prefer the helmets to be new, but if we get them recolored now and again, thats not SUCH a bad thing... But why did it have to be Hydraxon's mask? I hated that. Lol. -Mesonak
  4. BIONICLE logo, jetpack on hand, and use of Av-Toran arms on Corroder are Silver Stars feet, XPlode, and Furno bike are Seriously. Does anybody else think that Furno bike is the best set out of all of them? -Mesonak @80 Dollar's post: Lol, you're right: Dropship has a blue Crotesius helm. One more thing to add to the list. :P
  5. Dibs on Thunder. -Mesonak
  6. And the new Arenas: Arena Magna at night and the Scarabax Caves. -Mesonak
  7. <_< Well then. Also, downloaded it, played it, loved it. Characters are a bit too gray though. -Mesonak
  8. NO U. Anyways, welcome to Eurobricks GJ. I hope you'll enjoy your stay here. :) -Mesonak
  9. That's interesting, to say the least. -Mesonak
  10. How are they altered? Also, I don't think Lego's altered a piece to such an extreme before. In other words, Lego wouldn't alter a piece so that it goes straight on one set's packaging when it can only bend at a 90 degree angle IRL. -Mesonak
  11. This. I don't think it would be in TLG's best interests to create a new Av-Matoran style limb that is almost exactly the same with no extra features, let alone make that limb in different angles. It would be much easier just to make said limb bendable, and I believe that's what Lego has done. -Mesonak
  12. Time for reviews. Yay. Preston Stormer: Pretty cool. Color scheme and weapon are nice, but the helmet (Face? Mask?) reminds me of Ackar's for some reason... o_o 7/10. William Furno: Pretty nice. Mask/Helmet/Face could pass as a Kanhoi easily. Also weapon is awesome. 8/10. Jimi Stringer: I was hoping for Thok's weapon in black. Oh well. Didn't expect to see orange on this guy. Also, his helmet is the best of all the small sets, IMO. Oh yeah and BLACK GLATORIAN HANDS YES 9/10 Natalie Breez: Looks like the offspring of Jetrax Antroz and Gorast. IMO at least. Weapon's nice though. 6/10. Duncan Bulk: Silver. Wow. Meh, he's pretty cool. Face is great. One question though: Silver Glatorian hands? O_o 7/10. Mark Surge: Tarix, Berix, Hahli Inika, and Gali Mistika fell into a pool of Protodermis and out came this thing. Weapons are nice though, and head is WANT. 7/10. Thoughts as a whole: Pretty decent. I think the arms may just be bendable, and I think the torsos are ugly. I'm not gonna be picking up too many of these: Probably just Preston and Jimi. XPlode: Epic. Red Skrall armor FTW. Also his head is <3 Looks very spiky, well built, great color scheme. My favorite by far. 10/10. Corroder: Ehh. Too cluttered. Head's nice but he's pretty bland overall. 7/10. Meltdown: Kalmah and Bitil after falling in Toxic Waste. AKA Win. Yellow Metru legs and head are <39 9/10. Thunder: From a distance, he looks like Vezon. Except he fails more. My least favorite. 6/10. Thoughts as a whole: Great. Thunder and Meltdown use Ben 10 joints and Corroder uses the same arms as the small sets, which makes me O_o. I'll probaby pick up all of these except Thunder. Other sets are too blurry to comment on. -Mesonak
  13. My love for these sets just increased tenfold. Though I pray the biohazard symbols on Meltdown are just stickers. Oh yeah and XPlode wins. More reviews later. -Mesonak
  14. This. Nice info. I would have loved to see Inika/Mahri-Phantoka. :P -Mesonak
  15. They look more like the body pieces used on the Makuta Phantoka. To me at least. ._. -Mesonak
  16. Whether the playtest was fake or not, don't shoot me: I'm just the messenger. :P Also, agreed about the names. =/ -Mesonak
  17. Well, here's a PM from my friend. I asked if he'd playtested yet. He says: =/ -Mesonak
  18. That's what I fear: More Ben 10 Sets. Either way, with luck, we'll see (Or hear about) some new sets. -Mesonak
  19. Hey. Guys. I have a friend on BZPower, 13 years old, who lives in San Diego. He has apparently been contacted to take part in a "Playtest" of sorts for "Buildable figures." He does not know if this means the Hero Factory sets or something else, but he suspects it's Hero Factory. He will do his best to take pictures, but he doubts he will be able to. If no pictures are taken, he will review the sets individually on another site; Perhaps here. Don't hold me to this, for he very well could be lying. I'm just telling you because he says it will happen tommorow. If he does review them or take pictures, I'll let you guys know. ;D -Mesonak
  20. I don't care about nostalgia. At all. :D -Mesonak
  21. This. I like the Stars because of the way they expand on a solid design and make it better, giving awesome armor and some unique designs. (Skrall and Rahkshi.) ShadowCroc: Hey, I like the Av-Matoran design too. But yeah. No Stars for me today. Probably tommorow or Monday, though. -Mesonak
  22. I got Nektann for Christmas. I would have gotten them all, but Nektann was all my Target had. I'll be going back tommorow, and I'll likely get them all. -Mesonak
  23. Holy crap, that's an awesome commercial. Tahu Vs. Nektann was pure win, and the Kini-Nui Esque temple gave me a rush of nostalgia. Can't wait for the "Bionicle Battle Videos." :) -Mesonak
  24. Sets are amazing, from what I can see, and the names made me have the biggest fit of insane laughter that I've had for a while. Jimi Stringer. XPlode. Really, Lego? Ah well. Names don't matter to me, as long as the sets are good. However, these human-sounding names make me shudder when I think about what the story is going to be like. -Mesona
  25. I thought these were gonna be very much like Ben 10, in which case I wouldn't buy them. LEGO has proved me wrong, once again. These look amazing. Just amazing. I can't wait for better pics. -Mesonak
