  1. pssst - That's your left.
  2. That's amazing - I wish you were showing it THIS Saturday, as I'll be in the cities for Easter. I still might try to come and see it on the 10th!
  3. If you're in the US, you can get the $10.99, $19.99 and $29.99 sets for those prices (minus a nickel) with free shipping by using a coupon through lego.com. Anything that costs $24.99 or less only costs $4.95 to ship from lego.com. There is a $5 off coupon that takes the price off the set cost, therefore knocking the prices down to $5.99, $14.99 and $24.99 (but then adding shipping back in). It's like free shipping and a nickel off. Just put B058 in the catalog/promo code box. That's a zero, not an "O".
  4. Price in the US = $135.89
  5. I also have to believe it's more than 5%. Just last week I went into a store and purchased a few sets (for me - no kids here!). How are those sales tabulated? Or, is the 5% just based on a yearly poll? There are a lot of unanswered questions regarding that statistic.
  6. Fight for the Dagger 7571 is in stock now too. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3934647
  7. Actually, I would bet this is probably incorrect. It is true to state that there might possibly be five or six of a few and only the minimum three of the rest, (or four of 12 and three of four for a total of 60, or any other combination), but spread over the entire production, numbers probably will be equal. IE, If you take 16 boxes and there are three each of 15 different minifigs and 15 of the last one (the most drastic variance possible) in each box, the rarity would be equal assuming the 15 of one in each box is a different fig each time. IE, out of 30*16=480 minifigs, you'd have ((3*15)+15=60) of each. Which is obvious if you think about it. Of course, that is the most extreme example and probably would be very rare. It's more likely you'd have a max of 5 or 6 of each one, with a minimum of three of each, but then the same would be true if you took 15 other cases and compared. The entire population of each fig would average out to be equal. I hope I explained that sufficiently.
  8. It's not really mix and match (the illustration is just showing you can if you want). He got a complete figure, not pieces to multiple figures. No black mark on the fig, so it's definitely made in China (says on the bag too), but quality control has supposedly been much improved, so I'm hoping for the best!
  9. It looks amazing! Did you complete the design in mlcad and then build it the same way? Or did you do a little freelancing in the midst of the build?
  10. I have been looking daily as well (since the sale started) and managed to snag two this morning! With the Buy One and Get One at 50% off, plus free shipping, I got two FB's for $236.xx (there was applicable sales tax - the tax was a little less than shipping would have been, so I wasn't too annoyed). Go here and have fun! http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3515071 Edit: It's only been an hour and now FB is unavailable again. I hope you managed to get a couple!
  11. Interesting - does this apply at the Mall of America store as well?
  12. This guy sells MOCs all the time - usually military themed, but there have been many nice buildings up for sale as well. I enjoy watching his auctions (I don't have the money to purchase his large MOCs). Just check his feedback - one sold for $1000. http://shop.ebay.com/lesko76/m.html?_nkw=&...p;_trksid=p3686
  13. The date in the US for S@H is still March 17th, but today is the first time I've seen an official price on the website. It looks like fears of a price increase are unfounded (at least in the US), as it's listed at $150. http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?...n=245&d=100
  14. Odd - why are there only 15 spots? Nevermind - I thought this related to the collectible minifigs.
  15. Ahh, I see what you're saying. Even though the minifig resembles a Greek hoplite (rather strongly), Lego could just call it a Roman and not many kids would know the difference. Understood. No matter what, I'll call it a Greek hoplite! I studied in Heraklion (we stayed at the Candia Maris) for two months as part of a semester abroad in college (I traveled amongst the Islands and mainland for the other two months). I enjoyed Zorba and visited K's grave!
  16. It's definitely a Greek Minifig. It has the traditional ancient Greek round shield, as well as the plumed Corinthian Helmet (as well as a spear of course). Slightly off topic - since your username is Zorbas and I'm assuming you're Greek, is it safe to assume you've read Kazantzakis?
  17. Before we get to Series III, I'd like to know the full line up for Series II!
  18. Excellent, good to know. Thanks!
  19. Wasn't 10199 Winter Toy Shop an Exclusive as well? That only lasted a few months.
  20. This does indeed show up, but if you click on the link, this comes up: We're Sorry... This item cannot be found. Either it is no longer available or it does not exist. You can: • Try another selection • Try our Site Index • Search for your item here
  21. The hardest was last week when I built The Emerald Night. Of course, I was building it while watching the Vikings shoot themselves in the foot time and again versus the Saints. That didn't help at ALL.
  22. They are the 1x3 tiles and are a new(er) piece. They haven't been in many sets and are only available in a few colors so far. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=63864
  23. From his Flickr link:
  24. It looks like they come apart, just like the other modulars. The high resolution pictures posted recently (after your question) really help to analyze details if you zoom in.
  25. Yes, but Legomilk initially broke the news and created the thread. Thanks for all the information.
