  1. Brilliant collection, I'm absolutely in awe with the Royal Guard. Where are the feet from?
  2. Here's mine: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102701
  3. Here's my entry for the contest. Enjoy and excuse the pathetic descriptions. :) Avalonia: 1. Royal Assasin The king's personal assasin, only summoned for the most delicate of missions. He's a ghost, not even the king know the face behind the mask. 2. Courtesan Only the highest members of society can afford her company. 3. Adventurer Brawling, drinking and wenching are the simple pleasure of this guy. Always looking for new quests and adventure, he's the musketeer of his time. 4. Sir Prancilot The knight tales of chivalry sing of. The envy of men and desire of women. Many are the tales of his legendary courage, yet nobody witness them. Nocturnus: 1. Lich Lord The dreaded lich lord is one of Nocturnus' most dangerous entities. A master of pestilential magic is evenly as dangerous with his poisoned blade. 2. Blackguard Skilled thief and mercenary for hire. 3. Lizardfolk Brute Though not an aggressive race, they will defend their lands with their last breath. 4. Witch of the Wilds An ancient being, dwells in the deep forests of Nocturnus. Mitgardia: 1. Mitgardian Light Infantry The backbone of every army, light and fast, they are a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. 2. Dwarven Berzerker AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGH!!!! 3. Tavern Brawler This guy can be found in most taverns, always ready for a drinking contest or some arm wrestling. 4. Dwarven Engineer These dawfs are fabled for their tinkering skill. Kaliphlin: 1. Petraea Journalist Always on the lookout for a hot story. 2. Nobleman The filthy rich elite of Kaliphlin. 3. Hashashin Elite assassins for hire, their targets never escape. 4. Palace Guard Your average guy that wastes his life in front of a gate.
  4. Neat figs, the torturer really caught my eye, reminds me of silent hill for some reason.
  5. Thanks a lot everyone. :) @mccoyed My aim is to make 2 builds for it, this and a small vig with the dwarves building the trebuchet. I've actually done that a while ago, but I can't find the picture, I guess I deleted it. Still it was really lame so I'm not too bothered. @Gideon The tree trunk near the wall. It's the technique I used here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=101889 @Hammerhand They're tiles, this allows them to be only about 1/4 out, using jumper plates would make them halway out.
  6. Would like to claim UoP credit for: - wall technique 3 - siege - fortifications - tree 2 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102642
  7. I was honestly expecting this to be my worst build of the three, but it turned out well in the end. Had trouble with the ground, as I ran out of parts fast there and ended up using more colors and styles than I wanted. Would like to claim UoP credit for: - wall technique 3 - siege - fortifications - tree 2
  8. Overlooked this.... again. wall technique 3 - sand dunes - life in Kaliphlin - http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102333
  9. This is a tribute to one of my favorite movies (novel as well, but this scene is not in the book) Scaramouche. This is the duel scene: www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHXjaBY8PxI
  10. Thanks! Indeed, the door is quite big, almost looks like a weird garage door due to the placement of tiles . :)) The idea was to build a city gate initially, hence the huge door, but it turned out too much as a building, I had to keep the door that way as I ran out of parts to texture the walls and adding a smooth surface around it would have been worse.
  11. Aymer: Cora, wake up! Cora: WHAT? It's the middle of the night. Aymer: Come one, we have to go to Kaliphlin. Cora: Have you completely lost your senses? Aymer: I've just returned from the spaking troll, the gremlin told me of a guy selling a magic sword. You know I chipped mine. Cora: Argh, another one of your stupid deals... did you forget the outcome of the last deal you got into? Aymer: That one was different... and besides I've never had a magic sword before. And it's shiny! Cora: Fine, we'll go, you spoiled brat. But count me out of this, I'll visit the proper Kaliphlin stores until you get it over with. I bet the sword will break before you hit anything with it. --------- Would like to claim UoP for: wall technique 3 - sand dunes - life in Kaliphlin -
  12. I'm just guessing here, but I doubt anyone will request it to be a square.
  13. Forgot to add this here: - sideways rocks (studs horizontal) - minifig posing http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102158
  14. Thanks for the blog!
  15. Yeah, that tan portion bothers me as well, but I didn't have the parts in dark gray.
  16. Thanks! @Kayne The gap in the torso is caused by the rubber bands used to hold the hands. @Dr.Cogg Had quite a few ideas what to put on that slab but I ended up going with the mood of the build alone.
  17. Thanks. It's a challenge for Avalonia only, you can read more on the first page in the guild thread.
  18. A first build for the drow challenge: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102158
  19. Just as Cora was preparing to go to sleep, shed heard some weird chanting near the place they set camp. - Cora: Wake up Aymer! - Aymer: What do you want? You just ruined a perfect dream involving a lot of booze and twin princesses.... - Cora: Shut up and listen you idiot. - Aymer: It seems to be coming from there; let's check it up. A few minutes later... - Cora: It seems to be one of the drow we were looking for. There's a prisoner, we have to save her. - Aymer: Finally a proper damsel in distress rescue. Might be my lucky night... --------------------- Finally had the chance (and well an idea) to make a drow challenge entry. Would like to claim UoP for: - sideways rocks (studs horizontal) - minifig posing
  20. Fantastic. This really feels like a proper jungle hideout.
  21. No interior... I wanted to make it, but didn't have any tan/brown parts left for it. @Greeble Yep.
  22. This is hilarious, love the self loading catapults.
  23. Very nice, both in concept and execution.
