After recently giving some custom figs a go, I decided, why not make a whole lot of them? So here is a group of figs from random Games, films, and from my own imagination! I hope you like them, and as always, comments and constructive criticism welcome. Firstly we have a new Master Chief, with a cool new helmet design. Major props go to Mace2006 for this cool helm. (Sorry for the slight blur on some of these pics). Now we have Leon Scott Kennedy from one of my all time favourite games, Resident Evil 4! This depicts him at the beginning of the game and ideally I'd like some legs with a holster, but this works fine. It's me in Lego form next! I recently managed to find the smooth black hairpiece that I needed for me, so here I am. Unfortunately, none of the other heads I had suited me, so I went with a smiley. Which I think is fitting, as I love to smile :-D. After some cool purchases from the pick a fig at Milton Keynes, I created this rugged looking Cowboy. I really like this fig, as he is a western guy who looks cool just on his own. Spawned from inspiration of the brilliant Studio Ghibli animation 'Princess Mononoke' I decided I needed to create the main character (Prince Ashitaka) in Lego. Here he is in three forms. Film Beginning Disguise Phase Hair Cut As you may have noticed, I have done a bit of custom painting on the arms and legs to get the look and feel just right. Although this isn't purist (which I generally prefer) I feel this fig needed tending to like this to be as movie accurate as possible. Look out for Ashitaka in a Princess Mononoke vig very soon. Also, I've done an alternate, Dark Version of my bounty hunter Sagoro Vosa. Finally, we have a random band I've created just on the spur of the moment. They are meant to have a futuristic type feel to them, hence the neon type colours of instruments. Ah, this reminds me of the video I made for a project at school. We had made a healthy food product and advertised it using Lego. It was about two minutes long and made me very proud.

At some point I can't remember, my Dad registered me for a website. He gave me this name, let's break it down to show you its meaning. Joe - My real name M - The first letter of my surname I6 - 16th October, my birthday. Also, the last half can be interpreted as MI6, the English secret service for overseas. So, I could be called some sort of EB secret agent in that quota ;-). That's my name.

Neither can I! And I'm getting it the day of release!!! Oh yeah, and LV, Argos was wrong, as I predicted ;-).

Well, we get the actual news today, maybe this is just Argos trying to second guess it. It wouldn't be the first time they've got it wrong. They had the Mario Kart DS release down as a couple of weeks early, I went there, only to get disappointed, I wouldn't trust much on the other hand until we hear it from the horse's mouth today.

Strange, but true ;-). Amazon has the european Wii release date down as November 24th, seems like a good estimation.

I've been rewatching the Star Wars saga with all the commentarys on recently (Ep 3, 1, am currently on 2). It's very cool to find out all the nice little facts that went into making some of my favourite films.

Ugh. That's just stupid. It just looks like Nuparu to me. Just a beefed up version. At least they're not doing anything like releasing him as a new set or anything.

We love the design of this fig, he conveys such a mystique. That arm build is just genius. The other two are one's that we just loved for the originality and hilarity. Alex54's 'LolaLove' is brilliant, because you can never have enough love in the world ;-). And the Tooth Fairy just made me and Thrawn laugh our heads off, with it's warped sense of heroism. That's a very nice job you've got here. Even though it's not properly japanese, I feel it still has that slight zen effect, which just does it for me. Well done, and keep up the good work. Maybe you could do a cool fight scene next?

Woah. These look even better than the first wave. It seems like the line that got me back into lego is going to make sure I never leave :-P.

Oh god, I'm loving those sets. Damn you Lego!!!! X-D. I'll have to set aside some cash for these good looking sets.
