I'm not sure about Target's shipping policy but they don't have very many sets online for some reason. The only ones on sale are the AAT for $44, the Hyena Droid Bomber, for $17.81, and the Attack Shuttle for $53.99. They don't even have the Tank Droid online. The AAT seems like a good deal, but I don't know their shipping rates. However, they do have free shipping on the Republic Gunship. Hope this helped.

Review: 4487 Jedi Starfighter And Slave One - Mini
Inconspicuous replied to Ricecracker's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Great review, Ricecracker! Those crystal clear pictures are just fantastic! Excellent review overall! -
I was looking in the Sunday ads today, and came across a Target ad. In the middle of the booklet, I came across an ad showing the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid for $19.99!! I dashed out the door and drove to my local Target. Sure enough, there it was, for just twenty bucks! AND a whole bunch more Star Wars sets were on sale for a few bucks. Here's a list of what was on sale: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter- ~$17 Hyena Droid Bomber- ~$17 Echo Base- $22.49 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid- $19.99 Battle of Endor- $89.99 Republic Attach Shuttle- ~$53 Anakin's Y-wing- ~$53 Ambush in Cairo is on sale for $9.99 (as it's been pointed out), but I was really surprised how much everything was discounted! I'm not sure if all Targets are doing this, but several sets were discounted on Target.com. According to the tags, the offer is valid through this Saturday. Good luck! -Inconspicuous

Yes, as a matter of fact they are! Legolas', Gandalf's, Boromir's, and the Hobbits' capes are all custom made. Legolas' and Gandalf's capes are two different shades of blue, Boromir's is maroon, and the Hobbits' are dark green. I got these on Ebay a while ago, and couldn't find a use for them until now. I have a few extra if anyone's interested. This was something I thought about for a while, but I just couldn't find a solution. A Brickforge longbow might do the trick, but I haven't ordered anything yet. If you have any ideas, let me know! Thanks for the nice comments, guys! I'm thinking about posting my old pictures here as well!

The Treasure of the Lost Mine: Chapter 4
Inconspicuous replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks, Striker! I think that I might start going crazy and smash all my UCS vehicles if I have to wait too long. You don't have to rush too much, but it is nice if you could make it a weekly thing. That way I could stop scanning the forums everyday to check for new chapters. -
Hi everyone! A few years ago, I started a project called "Lord of the Legos", in which I built scenes from the books and took photos of them. I abandoned the project after I finished Book 2, and finally got interested in it again. I decided to try to build the most detailed scene yet, and I decided on the Mines of Moria. I really wanted to capture the feeling of the dark mines with skeletons and cobwebs. (my gray drawer will never be the same ) More pictures (including minifig shots) can be found in the gallery. Gallery Link I only had 3 trolls, so I made a few mock trolls I accept troll donations in 5's, 10's, and 20's. I'd love to get some feedback, as this is my first "real" MOC!

The Treasure of the Lost Mine: Chapter 4
Inconspicuous replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Really nice chapter Striker! I've been waiting a while for this one. As always, the suspense is driving me mad. I'm really enjoying this story, so if you can maybe try to get them out faster. -
MOC: The Court of King Octopus
Inconspicuous replied to fallentomato's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Wow fallentomato, that's a great MOC! I've always liked the idea of rebuilding a set into another model, and you did a great job! I particularly like the use of Aquaraider helmets as the King Octupus' eyes. The crown is great as well. Thanks for sharing this. -
REVIEW: Indiana Jones 7199 The Temple of Doom
Inconspicuous replied to TheTacoMan's topic in LEGO Licensed
Excellent review, The Taco Man! I know it's awfully hard to go up against Svelte's reviews (I've done it myself ) but I must admit, this is still a great review! After a while, you forget the little things, and repeat reviews can refresh them. I didn't even know that one of Indy's sleeves is missing! Once again, thanks for the review. -
Amazing MOC Big Pete! I would buy this in a heartbeat if it were a set! Have you considered releasing instructions and a parts inventory? I think it would greatly benefit the community.

Very interesting creation Zepher! I'll have to give the editing a go sometime. I like the fact that the eye is sloped, rather than being 2D. It reminds me of Mad-Eye Moody.

Wizards and Skellies and Dwarves, Oh My!
Inconspicuous replied to Nuju Metru's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Nice characters! There are some great uses of Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, and Star Wars heads! Very nice work. -
Thanks for the news! This definitely looks interesting. I wonder if the full Quest for R2 online game will be released at that time too. If I remember correctly it said it would be released in August. I can't wait for this!

Charlie & The Glass Elevator - Willy Wonka.
Inconspicuous replied to LegoLyons's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Absolutely splendid MOC! I love the colors, perspectives, and pieces! Particularly the ice-cream clouds and the WONKA sign. The minifigs are spectacular as well. I love Mr. Wonka and his coat and hat. Magnificent work! -
Wow! I had no idea that prices had skyrocketed so much! I wasn't into the theme very much, so I only picked up an Arkham Asylum, but man, I wish I had at least got the Mr. Freeze Buggy set! I'll keep my eyes open for any left on shelves. (though there will probably be none )

Found MOC : Outrider out of midi-falcon
Inconspicuous replied to simonjedi's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Great find, Simonjedi! I remember the instructions for the 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer had a picture of an Outrider using pieces from the set, but it didn't look that good. I think the Midi-Scale Falcon definitely was much better for the Outrider. -
Review: 8957 Mine Mech
Inconspicuous replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Excellent review there, Striker! I was a huge fan of the old Rock Raiders, but I am disgusted with the new ones. I totally hate the lime green/orange color scheme. I guess this isn't exactly the place to bash Power Miners Still, great review, with nice, clear pics and detailed thoughts! Thanks! -
Looks good Sir Gecko! I think the second one captures the "blockiness" of the head better, but the first one definitely looks more "realistic". Good work!

6248 Volcano Island Custom Alternate Model
Inconspicuous replied to Inconspicuous's topic in Pirate MOCs
That definitely works, but for this MOC I was trying to use ONLY pieces from this set. Otherwise, that's a great suggestion! -
Hmmmmmm, the pics in the MOC Index look stunning but everything except the Tactical Droid is gone. Thanks, for trying anyways, I Scream Clone. Your effort is greatly appreciated. I think I can still build some using the pictures though. Thanks again!

6248 Volcano Island Custom Alternate Model
Inconspicuous replied to Inconspicuous's topic in Pirate MOCs
I tried to add them in, but the only thing I could think of was to use the Technic pins, which didn't quite work. If you think of anything, let me know right away! -
Although it is clear it will never be made, the idea is still interesting. The color scheme is the hardest part, with all that neon green. But the ship is actually do-able.
-
Very nice MOC, I Scream Clone! I love the orange color scheme, and the assassin droids! Where did you get all that orange, anyways? I've seen those lovely assassin droids somewhere (Brickshelf perhaps?) but I can't remember where. Could you provide a link please Once again, magnificent MOC!

Vig. 87c Ahoy there! A few days ago I posted my review of 6248 Volcano Island (the link can be found in my signature) In it I included pictures of my custom model using the set's pieces that I nicknamed "Ghost Island". Well, I've uploaded picture building instructions to Brickshelf, and they're now public! Gallery Link For those of you who haven't read the review, here is a rundown of the model taken directly from the review: ---------------------------------------- Front: A picture of the whole "set". The "Ghost Face: A close-up of the ghost face. The face is one of my favorite parts. Notice the black eyes. Back: In the back is a cave with the skeleton and treasure. Cave: Another close-up. A little detail I added is including stalagmites. But wait! There

Interesting finds Skipper 24! Some of the proportions are a bit off (arms too long, legs awkward) but for the most part they're quite good. Boba Fett and Darth Vader are definitely my favorites. Still, I'm going to have nightmares about that Leia! Luke's hair reminds me of Captain Argyus from the Clone Wars
