And, because we're on the topic of Greg, I'll mention haphazard shoddy gimmick-based set design just so I can incite controversy. So, guys, anyone heard the latest in what I already mentioned but won't again because it's a bother to type?

Oh yeah, whole housing blocks have been torn down because they don't fit the utopian metropolis that Beijing is making itself look like, and the ones that won't sell yet are just covered with green tarps. How about Lego Veronica Mars? It's Warner Bro's [uPN merged with the WB to form the CW, which is a joint between CBS and Warner Bro's]. Or, while we're at it, how about Lego Gossip Girl? There we go, that's two Warner Bro's properties that can be adapted into Lego video game form without inadvertently promoting the competition.

I think I'm actually one of the few people who likes those pieces - coming from a Bionicle background it's nice to get a shooty thing that actually shoots. [squid Launchers, Kanoka, I'm looking at you!]

Well it's less steampunk and more silly anachronism, I think it could become a little fan theme of itself. And that is the problem for the crownies, if you want to know more I've created a little story for their ship. The Crownie Spy Triplane was designed about four months after an Exo-Force set appeared in Skellie airspace and crashed, the event that scholars theorize led to the skellie's sudden increase in technology. The plane was designed to fly into the smog and enter their territory, than swoop down out of cloud cover for observation and return. Every part of the plane is designed for safety - there as little Crownie coloring on it as possible [it still needs some blue and gold for faction identification], and the plane is left brown and black to blend in with the smog. Viewers may notice how the propeller is a bit overlarge, and there appears to be no landing gear. This is not an oversight on the part of the designers. There are very few bodies of water in Skellie territory [really only the one inland sea that is on the border], and many more in Crownie land. The plane is designed to be launched via horses pulling on land nearby, and the propellor pushing the plane forward. This means that if the plane is ever captured, it would be considerably harder for the skellies to load it with bombs and launch it at the castle. The light construction of the ship is another deterrent to this - it would more likely crash than land on ground, and the design also gives it speed. As a sidenote, this is possibly the most advanced piece of Crownie technology today - the Exo-Force set crashed deep in Skellie territory, and thus no Crownie scholars have had a chance to analyze it.

The Crownies are attacking! In their super-secret wooden triplane, the Crownies sail in the skies of Skellie airspace...unbeknownst to all but the Skellie Anti-Aircraft Tank! Look! Drawn by horses and powered by one of those shooty launcher things, this is the height of shooting things technology! The plane doesn't stand a chance! That is really good, I like how the foliage goes onto the roof and the doorway [by that I mean I like the doorway, not that the foliage goes onto it].

I think that '04 was Bionicle's best year - great sets, completely new story but it still has mystery, the Vahki [loved 'em], Makuta becoming even more dangerous, and I liked the idea of high-tech Bionicle. Plus it had the second Bionicle movie [in my opinion the best one].

I'm predicting Ra's, Firefly, and Maxie Zeus. It said Nightwing can utilize Robin's tech suits, and I was under the impression that that meant he could do whatever Robin's tech suit does without needing to change.

I hope it's more along the lines of separate tiers of characters, like Demolition Suit level 1 being what you use in story mode, and then for 100000 studs you get Demolition Suit level 2, and it replaces Demolition Suit level 1 as a character. And I think I also read that the Glide Suit can be upgraded to allow it to drop smoke bombs to confuse enemies.

Here's some quality Lego Castle Talk - Anyone think that we might be getting a horse and skellie horse in the Advent Calendar? It'd make it easier on the designers and happier for us if we were to get a couple o' horses.

Maybe Batgirl has a few suits as well? And in that Nintendo article that was posted a long time ago, it mentioned the suits being upgradable. Does anyone know anything about that?

And the face that they were a bit cartoony and some of them had virtually no articulation. Firstly, they weren't even worthy of the license - they were just a couple of Adventurers dinosaurs, Johnny Thunder, and a camera. The sets didn't even bear any resemblance to any parts of the film. But if they do a JPIV license that also includes the first three movies, I'd like to see them take stuff from the books as well - especially the Lost World, there are some great things missing in the movie. Scaredy/not scared heads would be good too.

They look better than super, they look super awesome. Just think about it, we have a soldier from every faction of new Castle, two from the skellie faction, a jester, a civilian woman, and a witch. And I'm hoping that we get a horse and a skellie horse inside. And we still haven't gotten that Vastas wind tower yet...or is it 2009?

Well, it's not really a niche yet, but my anachronistic Castle and Viking-Force, which is also anachronistic medieval Lego have inspired at least one other Viking-Force MoC, and I'm going to be making more of them. Maybe I'll post a topic detailing guidelines for them or something.

Well I don't know who else they'd be saving for the latest reveal, all the big villains've been covered. Unless there's an original villain [which I doubt] it might just be that they've saved these simple character designs to the last to render, and they don't have anything finished to show?

I doubt that a Lotr license would come out in 2011 with Star Wars ends, because then they'll have missed the release date of the Hobbit, and'll only have the bridge film to drive sales. And maybe it'd be called Lego Middle-Earth so they could do Children of Hurin, Silmarillion and Hobbit sets without changng the name.

Just on topic of the remaining villains - I want Ra's and Maxie Zeus. Maybe Carmine Falcone. And I would love a Clayface fig, and perhaps some different versions of the villains - we don't want them to get like the Indy fig! [i've noticed that the Joker sets seem to be pretty Jack Nicholson Jokery - the Batwing obviously, and I know the other set has the Tumbler, but I can't imagine the Heath Ledger Joker driving a pimped out ice cream truck, and a lot of people have called Jack Nicholson's Joker performance like an uncle, and it says Uncle Joker right on the sticker. I'd like to maybe see a Cesar Romero Joker in a really silly set, and then maybe a Heath Ledger Joker in a TDK set]
