I have a dilemma. I've got the rest of the year planned out, LEGO-wise. Except for a end-of-summer buying-things-erie, in which I'd like to get some Agents sets. I've narrowed it down to two choices - Choice 1 - Jetpack Pursuit and Swamp Raid - Price - $39.98 CAD 4 figs Laser crocodiles Less parts Angry Agent face and Break Jaw Choice 2 - Speedboat Rescue - Price - $54.99 CAD 3 figs Sharks More parts Agent Trace and Break Jaw Can anyone with the sets give me their opinion?

Well it's not really news, a photographer messing something up and it going in a catalog. It wouldn't be 12 minifigs, they're expensive to produce and it's 2 more than any other Advent Calendar has had [the 2008 City one has 10, right?]. And personally I'd rather have more little things for the minifigures to play with than an extra soldier or black skellie - there are better sets for army building.

There is plenty more that Lego can draw from [Outbound Flight and Heir to the Empire], but why isn't Lego?

I know that, I meant it more along the lines of George Lucas looking at the prototypes and going 'oh throw in a Jar Jar fig there, and jack up the price on that thing'.

It's conventionally, by the way. So, odds that we'll be playing as Nightwing/Gordon/Batgirl in any of the hero levels? I'm hoping so, even with suits it would get mighty dull only playing as two guys - let's hope for a Gordon/Batman double bill!

Well Lego could always go the Star Wars route and make like five versions of Bill the Pony, include extraneous characters, and sell it at an inflated price - 29.99 for a pony, Bilbo, and two Uruk-Hai.

Well I don't see why Lando and Mace get their own minifig color but this Taejo fellow's just pink. And no, I haven't paid any attention to the Speed Racer line, ever since I noticed it has the worst possible Christina Ricci minifig.

Don't you think discriminating the yellows [they've been there first, anyway] is a little racist to the original themes Lego figs? And I think Lego needs to start putting the fleshie faces into yellow, we have enough sunglasses and construction worker faces on the real side of Lego! And just on a related topic, when/if Lego gets a licence that needs an Asian minifig, do you think they would use tan or yellow?

I agree, Lego needs to move away from Star Wars - apart from the Clone Wars sets, most everything is a rehash [remind me how many Slave 1's and X-wings are there?], and the quality is falling - cash grabs don't need to be supported by Lego.

Well then it'll be better than Force Unleashed! And it comes out September 23, that's probably a typo. Do you think they'll reveal the remaining villains beforehand or wait and let people find them in the game?

I don't think that a Lego Force Unleashed'd be done, it's already a video game and the games should be moving away from Star Wars, just because George Lucas wants more money doesn't mean we need a video game of it. And I don't want to see Lego Harry Potter unless they add more controls - maybe the special button can be assigned to something like House access, and then you hold down the right trigger to get your spell list - you can buy more spells as the game progresses, and map the spells to the buttons while the right trigger's pulled, so Attack could be Incendio, Special could be Avada Kedavra, and Jump could be Lumos.

It's also unavailable outside of the US, which is stupid...

Go Canada! Wait, we have no medals so far, and Kyle Shewfelt was kind of a disappointment... CBC interviews are hilarious. The athletes go on and on about doing their best and breaking Canadian records, imagine just how much they'll go on once we win a medal.

I don't think it's that, they've already covered all the big ones and are getting into the minor villains for the first Batman game. Can't imagine that they're going to be making Lego Batman 2 and promoting new villains like Zsasz and Blockbuster. Which is why we need Lego Veronica Mars, there's three whole seasons of untapped Kristen Bell-themed detective adventure possibilities!

Maybe not, the Jurassic Park movies are all Universal, and TT's doing Warner Bros games now, they wouldn't want to encourage the competition.
