Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...
hewkii9 replied to The Kid's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I dunno. I thought that was a pretty terrible finale. It sacrificed all the amazing things that The Pandorica Opens had, and whole swathes of it were just stupid. - The most secure prison in the universe, built specifically to trap the Doctor, mentioned as being deadlocked in The Pandorica Opens, can be opened from the outside just by sonicking it? - Every extraterrestrial thing on Earth outside the Pandorica is petrified by the death of the universe except for Rory. What? - The Pandorica actively heals its occupants? It must have been designed by the Ogrons, considering all these flaws - Despite being at the heart of the rebirth of the universe, the Doctor doesn't exist in it. Instead, he's brought back by the sheer specialness of Amy [explained as her sleeping next to a crack, but the cracks don't even exist in the new universe] - Also, Amy hitting on the Doctor, in front of Rory, at their wedding. Why? - River Song. So spectacular [and Moffat-created] that Daleks are afraid of her. The same Daleks that can't kill the Doctor with a direct shot, and apparently carry a database encompassing the whole of creation inside them. I am however very pleased that Rory'll be a full time companion and the fez was the greatest bit. Wait. Amy remembers the fez. Maybe it'll return... -

Would you give one Spaceman and one Skater in exchange for a zombie? I'm in Ontario by the way. My haves- 1 Zombie 1 Nurse Wants- 1 Spaceman 1 Skater 1 Cheerleader -
I was thinking you meant Jayko's visor from KK. I was all set to say no. I don't think we need any of those helmets, I'd rather have way more great helms! [And way less of those ones with the visors all the way around]

1) The only other Mafia game I've been in was Christopher Wilder in Prohibition Mafia, but if selected here I promise to turn down the verbiage 2) I guess I'm pretty knowledgeable about Harry Potter. I own all the books, plus the supplementary Quidditch handbook and bestiary, and even The Tales of Beedle the Bard. I own a Harry Potter set [was more of a Bionicle man back in the day] and my favorites of the movies are Half-Blood Prince, followed by Prisoner of Azkaban.

Yeah, there's five or six Doctor Who topics in Lego Sci-Fi. And while it would succeed wildly where there is a market, I can't imagine Lego Doctor Who selling very well in the USA.

I think Amy's Choice was a fairly solid episode, had some very good ideas in it, but fell flat in places [like the old woman Rory pushed off the roof ]. I really liked that this was the closest we'll get to a TARDIS episode, and it looked great frozen. Although, just from my perspective, a cold star is less impossible than some other things we've gotten. Also, Dream Lord - new series look at the Valeyard? -

[quote name='Lord Arjay' date='Apr 27 2010, 11:39 AM' post='726810' Did anyone else notice the two heads thing before the doctor? Or was I just so on edge that I noticed everything? Ooh! I did! Of course rather than realize they were all Angels, I chalked it up to cheap set decoration... -
Yes, more proof that the Death Eater face works great for Cybermen! Will you be tackling a Sea Devil next?

Ah, bella Venezia! You must save her, Ezio. I really like this! I'm impressed that you pulled off a purist Ezio.

Just a random thought - what if a historical figure was a companion? Like the Doctor picking up Mark Twain for a four-episode jaunt. They could go to Camelot. It'd be fun. -

Who da man! I really enjoyed that - the Atraxi were really cool, and while a bit derivative I enjoyed the Doctor montage. Also, DoctorVision should be used to conclude the plot of every other episode up until the end of Matt Smith's tenure. Och, aye! -
This is really nice! I like how you took it beyond a recolor with a different front end.

Those are verry old fakes - although, I'd love to see David Tennant as the Riddler.

I thought that this would've been a second LOST topic from the title.

I'm thinking that Ginny's hair works perfect for Amy, and did you notice the dark orange Twin helmet from SPIII? Sycorax!

The real national crisis would be 7 million Who fans revolting if they don't get their long-awaited series -
I like that head decal, but the torso one seems unnecessary - why not use this torso and black legs with red hips?

What are these Minifig pieces? Might be unreleased parts..
hewkii9 replied to Dennimator's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Actually I believe they're from either Philosopher's Stone or Chamber of Secrets, as the accompanying torso has yellow hands. -
Is Dark Nougat the same as Metru Brown, from the 04-05 Bionicle sets?

Yes! We want a Rex impulse!
