If items were given to someone of the same House and allegiance upon voting-out, was I given the Basilisk Fang simply because there were no more Slytherin students to get it from ILikePie? Lord Arjay, I have to compliment you on the sheer brilliance of how you played. If Machiavelli was on Eurobricks... Here's my role e-mail, and sok117's/my actions - Here's the results of the night actions sok117 chose: Night 1: Last night you successfully cast Expelliarmus on Harriet Pewter/YG-49. Night 2: Last night you successfully cast Expelliarmus on Nene Grandstaff/Millacol88. Night 3: Last night you tried to cast Expelliarmus on Valerie MacArthur/Inconspicuous, but you were Stupefied and failed. Night 4: Last night you tried to cast Expelliarmus on Sheila Bones/Matn, but you were Stupefied and failed. Night 5: Last night you tried to use your broomstick to fly to safety, but you were Stupefied and failed. Night 6: Last night you successfully cast Expelliarmus on Rhubarb Uxley/Escape The Fate. However, your broomstick was stole from you, so you no longer have it in your list of night actions. This is where I come in... Night 7 - I successfully cast Expelliarmus on Rhubarb Uxley. Night 8 - I successfully cast Expelliarmus on Xander Lovegood, but he wasn't using any spells. Night 9 - I attempted to use the Basilisk Fang upon the Time-Turner, but got outplayed.

Oooh, please do a review of Nidhiki. That was a fantastic set.
-
Great review! The lack of screaming child disappointed me too. I've always thought that the Metru were by far the most stylish line of Toa that Bionicle ever did - they have a consistent aesthetic, are just this side of being clone-y, and are much better looking than, say, the Inika. My personal favorite'd have to be Onewa, though.
-
Hey CallMePie, high five for not technically being killed - I noticed we're listed as "Outplayed on Night Nine".

Wow. Thanks, Sandy, for hosting an absolutely magnificent Mafia game, and for letting me be a part of it. Something I really liked about it was that everybody seemed to have an item, night action, or skill of some sort. To the Hallowed - Grr! I thought we had it in the bag! I knew we shouldn't trust you, WhiteFang! Inconspicuous, well, you certainly lived up to your name. And haven't we learned that the first thing to do in any Mafia game is to vote off Shadows? My actions through the game were Expelliarmus and the Broomstick, which I had until Night Six - on the last Night, I was given the Basilisk Fang as well. You saved me! You wonderful man Pity that nobody actually got Fiendfyre as a night action...
-
Think of this one as a trial by fire - I'm sure the next mafia game'll be less complex, sadly
-
I think that bringing lots of finicky little useful pieces, like jumpers, 1x1 rounds, and headlight bricks would be best. Maybe try and pick five or six colors you really like building in, than try to bring a whole spectrum.

While I distrust Madame Hearth completely, I distrust Loki as well, and Jolie hasn't led us astray yet. Unvote: Brigelda Hearth/Whitefang Vote: Loki Malfoy/ILikePi I believe that's five votes. Xander, if this is your last day, I'm glad we've been in the same house.

It is the year 1191, AD. Altair, an Assassin, stalks the streets of Damascus. Passing a fountain, he pauses. Perhaps the city guard ahead will know something... He draws his blade and fights the man, to no avail - he knew nothing. Altair is forced to take to the rooftops to escape. Everyone featured in this scene [carrot man knew the most, truth be told]. Enjoy!

Professor McGonagall, I noticed that the poisons used on Kingston and Xander looked different [while consistently lime green]. Is this significant, or just artistic license on your behalf? Xander, do we know for sure that Madame Hearth even could use a healing spell on you? The poisoner struck once before, on Night Four. On Day Five, Madame Hearth only said one thing - If you read between the lines, she doesn't say a single thing of note - everything is completely obvious just from having woken up that day. She does not mention a healing spell or a bezoar, and for another thing, shouldn't she know about potions? I don't know if she can save you, Xander. Jolie said some things on the same day, though, which may help you - Jolie's consistently said Bathory was innocent, which matches up. Bathory poisoned you, Xander, so it's likely that she poisoned Kingston as well. Sadly, she's lost her bezoar. I believe that Brigelda Hearth can be pursued as a suspect without endangering you, because I don't even think she could save you. On Day Six, she said some more suspicious things. Really? Didn't the Headmistress say that beyond the late Professor Longbottom, no staff had attended Hogwarts? So Kingston was afflicted with the two-day poison. You found out about it, and cast your healing spell on the first day. Are we supposed to believe that your healing spell takes longer to cast than the poison it's used on takes to kill? If anybody can save you tonight, Xander, I doubt it's Madame Hearth.
-
That ties into our suspicions of her on the day we convicted Jingle. We thought Jingle was the killer, but that's clearly not true. I'll unvote if Madame Hearth can defend herself satisfactorily, but this seems damning as we'll get. Vote: Brigelda Hearth/WhiteFang

Of course, I'm going to wait for Loki to speak up. I never actually voted for Crudo because we never really heard his side of the story. He's just who I'm leaning towards at the moment.
-
I think right now I'm leaning towards Loki, as Jolie suspects him - Valerie just seems like she can't wrap her head around the fact that she doesn't need to protect and block someone who is dead in order to prevent them from being blocked by someone else.
-
Prove? Have you proven yours? Jolie trusts me, and she knows my night action - or what it was. I wish I had my broom back. And considering who Jolie distrusted, if she trusts me than that's one of the closest things we'll get towards proof.
-
What? Everybody knows phones don't work in Hogwarts, silly! I'd be glad to wait until you're not positing theories from your owl, though. I've had a thought - there are three variables we need to consider. The vote, the poison, and the killer. With all these, this could in fact be our last day, either way. All my theories are based on the idea that there are only two Hallowed alive. Absolute worst-case scenario: We vote out an innocent. Xander, being innocent, passes in his sleep. The killer takes out two more. Hallowed/Hogwarts being 2/2, the survivors are hunted down the next day. Absolute best-case scenario: We vote out a Hallowed. Xander, being Hallowed, passes in his sleep. We live. The only thing we can control right here, right now, though, is the vote. So let's do this right.
-
That doesn't make any sense. For one, do we know for sure that there are 3 Hallowed left? There are two, for sure, the Dementor-controller and the killer, I believe. So it isn't our last day, not unless we're really stupid. And at this point, we're the best of the best, the boldest and the bravest. So I don't think that'll happen. Please, give your proof of your innocence now.
-
Professor! No! He was the one who taught me it's not the Snitch that wins games, but the team you play with. Xander, you were acting pretty suspiciously yesterday. Care to explain, if possible? Valerie, did you actually block the late miss Ching? Since her innocence has been proven, that would seem like an awfully stupid thing for anyone to do. I think we should continue to investigate Loki, since Jolie distrusts him - thank Merlin that the Hallowed didn't take her from us.

Does anybody know if PROXY is returning? That guy was awesome. Wait... ...Starkiller is PROXY!

Exactly. Don't Mr Spielbrick, Doctor Sinister, Forresto and myself [among others, off the top of my head] make a good enough unofficial theme anyways? If you want a Doctor Who theme, just go and build it. That's more Doctor Who than buying your adventures in a cardboard box. A well-done Doctor Who theme would have to be absolutely massive [you need around thirty unique minifigures minifigures just to appease the fans, then you'll make the villains], and there aren't really that many opportunities for good sets out of New Who. A TARDIS playset, the Valiant, maybe a Dalek ship? As far as design the theme would be inconsistent too, which would make it costlier. Doesn't it cost more to design a Venetian manor, a forest in a spaceship, a big blue house, and a French chapel than to design four white spaceships? All that being said, I'd walk through a forest of statuary for a Time of Angels playset and a long scarf piece, so consider myself signed as well.

Goblin Glider and Ghost Rider Bike commissions.
hewkii9 replied to PattieCake's topic in General LEGO Discussion
There actually is a Green Goblin glider in official Lego - here. It's technically a Studios set, though. Yeah, there'll never be an official Ghost Rider though. -
Twist spotted!
-
Send them to me! I just put my extras away.
-
Miss Hearth, I feel like I owe you an apology about yesterday. It's clear now you didn't control the mystery vote.
-
I'm willing to go with Jolie on her suspicions about Crudo - let's hope he steps up to defend himself soon.
-
Not necessarily - it could just as well be a student that loathed him.
