Ooh, I spot Monarch Theatre and Iceberg Lounge signs!

The Zamor launcher, because it looked a bit like a crossbow, followed by the Bohrok-when-you-crack-open-their-faceplates.

Thanks, everybody! I know, there's a lot of research to do...Sandy, are CliffsNotes allowed in Hogwarts?

What were you trying to accomplish? Jolie, your evidence seems damning and I think you really caught the Snitch on this one. Vote: Jingle/Dragonator

Heavily based on the Space tow truck from 5982 Smash 'n' Grab, I present the Space Pickup truck! With this, I tried to make the official version into something denser, sleeker, and a bit more me. Also, I really wanted to make a purple creation [need more purple!] Squidtron and his ride Enjoy!

Thing is, ma'am, you've never voted. That in itself is rather suspicious. The mystery voter did vote for Sheila, though. Why do you think they would do that? If they were innocent, there'd be no point in them hiding the fact that they voted for a Hallowed. If they were a scummy Hallowed, though, that's a completely different story.
-
That's very clever. In fact, thinking about it, Madame Hearth has never voted under her real name. Now, my question is, why would you this?

My goodness, I'm glad that a Hallowed's finally been rooted out. Terrible pity it came at the cost of those Aurors. I have to wonder about the significance of the message left on the doors. Is it just a threat, or does it say something? You will all die for the Hallowed rising...strange wording. Four! Just like the graffiti I found in the Quidditch changeroom second year...Could it mean that the Hallowed only need to kill/convert four more?

I'd say just get Lego Indy 1 or The Complete Saga. Those are probably the best Lego games, in my opinion.

This is absolutely brilliant. While there are a lot of CC-type creations, and most of them are good, yours really stands out. For a couple reasons. 1 - It's not just good, closer to excellent. 2 - The interiors. I love that you managed to fit fully realized interiors into this. 3 - All the thought that went into the architecture, and the fact that you told us about it. I can't get enough of behind-the-scenes type things, and this is a touch that very few builders do. My only criticism is there's no brickbuilt rod of Asclepius, but that's as nitpicky as can get

LOTR; Conquest is not a game I'd recommend, even cheap - the campaign is laughably short [something like 4 hours for both campaigns], there's not much in the way of customizing Instant Action games, and the multiplayer servers have been shut down, I believe. It does have 2-player splitscreen, though. You can get Mercenaries 2 for the same price or cheaper [they're both Pandemic games, but Mercs 2 is older], though. I would recommend that. It's rough around the edges, but the voice acting is hilarious at times [Peter Stormare as a main character], the world is pretty big, there's a staggering number of vehicles and weapon types [plus airstrikes, though they're not all useful] and it has the floatiest motorbike physics I've ever seen. I don't know if its co-op servers still work. I'm pretty sure Just Cause 2 is M, but get that if you can. It's pretty much the largest open world game on consoles, has a good variety of vehicles and weapons [plus some free/paid DLC] and the grapplechute.

What is the most fav set that everyone like
hewkii9 replied to Alan Chua's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I think he meant set, not theme. I've never heard anyone speak ill of Medieval Market Village or the Imperial Flagship. -
The Abomination itself! Special Weapons Dalek! For a while, I've had a design for Steven Moffat's [amazing Technicolor] Daleks kicking around, but I've been a few crucial [flamboyant red] parts short. So while I'm waiting for that, I decided to whip up a Special Weapons Dalek, from 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks. Now, I've always thought this guy ranked right up there on the list of "the" Doctor Who villains. I mean this guy certainly did more for the Daleks than anything Human Sec did. So I've been really disappointed by his lack of appearances in New Who. Anyways, enjoy!

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
hewkii9 replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
Oh, pretty please, Lego? Tron? [maybe a Daft Punk guy or two for good measure?] -
Is that a pistol you're using in the shoulder joint? Clever! I quite like the arms, although as already said the legs feel a bit unfinished.

Hi! I, like a *bunch* of other members here, am a big fan of Doctor Who. I've been doing Doctor Who creations for a while, but never bothered to make a definitive topic for all of them. So, allons-y! Well, maybe I should've said Geronimo instead. Creations [in order of creation] A Dalek Nine/Ten's TARDIS Console Sontarans Davros The Dalek Emperor Cyberman, Eight, and Delgado Master Two One, Five, Six, Nine, Mondas Cyberman Cybusman and Ten in Nine's outfit Cybermat Pyrovile Three Ace Five saves the day Eleven Special Weapons Dalek Something is coming! Steven Moffat's Daleks, revamped [and possibly new] Doctors, and more!

Are you saying Lego St. Paul's? I want that set right now. I'm a bit disappointed by the Tower Bridge, I'm just not a microscale fan.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
hewkii9 replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Really? David Legostone is one of the ones I want most. And with the Surfer minifig, I think a lot of people'll want cargo shorts for their bros. Personally the state trooper and ringleader look most uninteresting to me. -
Now that's an air assassination.
-
Here are my Daleks. They're a bit old, and I have a New Dalek [red and lickable!] in the works. Also, I built the Dalek Emperora long time ago.
-
No, that'll be Desmond's job in AC3

Bricklink's Dark Turquoise and Peeron's Teal are the same color. EDIT: Well, I really got beaten to that.

Have Action Themes Become Extreme?
hewkii9 replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Can good design and flashy appeal not coexist? World Racers is a lazy and unimaginative theme, yes, but I'm going to bring up Dino Attack again. That was the definition of flashy - mercenaries fighting dinosaurs! but it still had solid designs, like the helicopter set. -
Nice! I like how you got around the no-white-hood-piece problem. A keffiyeh might work, too...

Have Action Themes Become Extreme?
hewkii9 replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I agree. It just does nothing new. Lego's been making lines consisting of oversized vehicles and combat for years now. Even the color scheme is nothing new after Power Miners [and red/black is the oldest color scheme ever]. Even Dino Attack, something superficially similar to this, did something new, as it was the first non-licensed line to have anything close to paramilitary minifigs, and the colorscheme was brand new for its time.
