Best B-Models of Technic Sets?
dougstar replied to Kumbbl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
only managed to get a copy o f8070 recently and i have to say WOW! so far for me the best -
hello DrJB what i wanted to find out is what the common denominator was. i understand that over the years there have been the good the bad and the ugly as far as set are concerned. to buy some of the older sets 8880 8466 8258 just to mention a few are a little over priced on my side of the planet. its better to buy some good set strip them and build as many others from the parts as i can. also some newer parts have been designed or redesigned and work better. nice to know i guess. your topic is great thanx ill go over it from end to end. http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=87935 cheers doug

i live in south africa so if i get a set the cheapest set 8265 on bricklink thats with no box no extras for me thats $150 before customs :-( and after they hit me at customs $175. we get nailed big time!

hello tech heads id like to find out from the seasoned builders which are the ten best sets to have as parts. or maybe they the most popular set that you have all collected. all my parts /set i have to import as there are only two bricklink store locally for me and they are small. i find for me it works out much cheaper to buy a complete set over ordering a bunch of parts. so it would be very interesting to see what you have all bought over the years dougstar
