Welcome! Nice to see more good people.

Saw it, loved it. Highly recommended! I have to read the book some day. It has gotten some critisism, but I dont care- I do see somethings as a little over-the-top idealically (blowing up buildings) but the tolerance message is clear.

No big prob with the missing ones- the missing Kilroy is my favorite, but IV is probably second so it had to do. Kilroy looks rather wimsical, he doesnt appear too wimsy in the comics though, but he is still an interesting character, though I prefer stories were he doesnt invent things and just stick to archeology- not because you are smart and professor in one subject doesnt mean you can build fantastic things. ;-)

A cog is a medieval ship, related to the galleon in some ways. The difference is that a cog is primarily not really a warship, but mostly used for trade and troop transport. Like castles, they have battlements(though not all- mostly those of military use). Cog vs Longship? -The longship is fast, while the cog is slow. -The cog has heavy armaments, while the longship has nearly none. -A cog has better defences for archers and since its taller, they can snipe the poor vikings. -Longships are, while using more complex methods to be built, cheaper to build since they do not require too much wood. -Both can carry almost the same amount of men- longboats uses their men as oarsmen. In a sea battle (if we ignore tactics, which is all up to the leaders), I think cogs would win... If noone had fire arrows that is.

I completely agree- but its a pattern; for every year that goes KK2 gets more and more worth the money (well, figurevise). Awesome find! The Bridgewalker got some tactical disadvantages, but that doesnt stop me from modifying it when it comes!

The Hordesman replied to snefroe's topic in LEGO Events and User Groups
I feel targeted. :-P Now, I want to know what happened. Of course, I wont automatically support Swedes nor Danes, just wanted to know whats going on. ;-) -
Great comics! I really liked the Exo-force and Spacefan ones... Probably the Spacefan because its so long in difference to the others. ;-)

The Rev. Brendan Powell Smith is an AFOL, and has a brickshelf account. He claims humourosly that he was "heavenly inspired" to make it. Smith is an atheist, but has been praised by christians though been critized for some parts of his work.

LEGO Pass-Along Patrick Mini-Figure Adventure
The Hordesman replied to Zane's topic in LEGO Licensed
By not starting a post with a large letter and ending a question without a question mark will mark you as a spammer, mark my words. This is indeed interesting, I wonder how people are chosen, and why just Patrick (I guess some episode reference), is this a US only thing? Yet we are not sure if these licenses will even hit europe. Dora the explorer didnt (alteast not Sweden). -
Actually, he is kind of right- the reminder only says that insults are not allowed, but doesnt say much about anything else. But I do think people should know what isnt allowed in their gut. A so-so welcome from me.

Adventure Villains
The Hordesman replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Mr. Hates. He is a man of probably british origin, is mad (atleast he looks mad), are often shown running around with dynamites and for some reason he reminds me of the Tintin villain Rastapopoulos. As a kid, I played that Mr. Hates betrayed Baron von Barron after stealing the treasure, and flew away with the biplane. However, a skeleton hiding on the plane attacked him and he crashed, he survived but was sent to prison in england. He later came across an old tome in jail given to him by a mysterious inmate, which teleported him elsewere, and begun raising dead villains in london... Johnny Thunder and Kilroy put him back in prison, and these days of horror was removed from the minds of the people thanks to the magical tome. Johhny gave it to British Museum, and claimed it to be an empty tome, so that noone would look into it. Baron Von Barron went back to germany and prepared to steal some medieval treasures of the Wolfpack in Austria. I didnt get any further than that though... Infact, most of this stuff wasnt even played, but I did have the story in my head. -
Brosnan is good, but Connery makes perfect. New guy... Well, he shouldnt be mentioned above. The new movie is based on one of the original books, which means it should be good- if Bond himself is good, that is. As for Le Chiffre: whats up with the Hitler-hairdo? :-D

A place for the "bad kids" where they learn what they are doing wrong, etc. They are stuck there until they behave- unable to post elsewere under this period. Back to topic: This problem could be temporare. Try to register later. If this is a problem that has occured on more than one occasion I cannot help unfortunatly.
-
Welcome! >Complete misunderstanding< I like The Police too, and Sting ;) >Complete misunderstanding off< How old are you? Studying to be a police officer, or just a temporare mania? You sure like the police profession. ;)

Never liked it- the guards are lousy guards, they only care about themselves and when their friends are attacked or peasants, they ignore it. A player can kill NPCs and noone cares, seeing peasants, guards and other innocents being killed without the others care removes the entire atmosphere in all its pixelness. :-| Just my humble opinion. I prefer other games... Like WoW. *skull*

While I do agree with you Xenologer, I do think these are not meant to be actual space signs, but more of street signs on normal roads in planetary colonies, etc. And for that, I salute you! I really like your complex, heavy looking style of things, the style reminds me of well, above mentioned- Cowboy Bebop. Good work, keep it up!

Welcome back! Glad to hear everything turned out nice. *sweet*

What was the last movie you watched?
The Hordesman replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Laugh if you want- Im 18 and my first time seeing Pulp Fiction. Awesome! The greatest dialog Ive ever heard! It is rather macabre (come on, its a Tarantino movie) but the macabre scenes are humorous at some points. Oh Xwingyoda- Fat Bastard is scottish- sackpipe and kilt. ;-) -

The Hordesman replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Have not yet seen this latest Miyazaki movie, but Iam sure I will agree with Cutty when I see it. *sweet* Well, the latest movie I saw was Wallace & Gromit: The curse of the wererabbit. Great characters, idyllic england and those great jokes that hide in the surroundings (like product names, book names, etc).
