  1. Here is a plane I constructed that is loosely based off a Cessna. It has opening doors and is able to carry four passengers. I normally am not an avid plane builder, but it sure is fun to see it come together and quite a change from building structures or vehicles. It's not perfect, but I think you'll like it. For more pictures, please visit my Flickr aircraft set. Enjoy!
  2. ^The modular buildings were amazing as well. I forgot to mention that.
  3. Wow. Love the details. Great job!
  4. Easily the bus stop set. I haven't gotten around to getting it, but it screams classic town.
  5. Really nice, heavy duty look to it. Good job!
  6. I always enjoy looking at your MOCs. They're not too overdone, but you mange to squeeze in those essential details in both the exterior and interior. Keep it up BlueBard!
  7. I love the back of this thing, it looks perfect. Of course, the rest is awesome too.
  8. Thank you! And you are right, Ford did say that! I just wanted to use the white and gray combo, I thought it would look nice compared to a plain black (picture it as refurbished antique.) However, now that you mention it, I think I have the pieces to pull one off in black. Thanks a lot BlueBard, I like it too. Thanks! The mudguards are probably my favorite part. The windshield is starting to grow on me because before I was using two 2x1x2s and those indeed looked a bit awkward. Thanks!
  9. Thanks for the review! I'm debating on getting this set now, seeing that it lacks an interior. I like the blue angled roof pieces, but I couldn't imagine any immediate uses for them. I'd probably just buy it for the pieces.
  10. Hello everyone. I haven't contributed a MOC here for awhile, so I thought I should finally show my 1930s Truck that I've redone. After seeing legohaulic's over at Flickr, I felt obligated to change mine as well. My previous version seemed too long with an unrealistic arrangement of colors, so that's what I planned to fix. As it turned out, I completely demolished the truck and started over from scratch and I'm happy with how it turned out. It's still a five wide vehicle (six with the wheel wells) and can seat two minifigures, but what I'm most happy with is how the front came out. It proved tough, but after some problem solving, it came together. Pictures are links. Hope you enjoy! Chris
  11. Awesome MOC here! Though may I suggest making the stairs going through the center, allowing two apartments to be added to each side? Just a thought, but if not, that's okay. Great work!
  12. Well, thanks a lot everyone, I'm happy you like it! @Ralph Indeed you are right, and in this case a half stud off-set would have worked perfectly (one being the room to work with, and for once I had the blue jumpers to do it!). I'll try to keep that in mind in later builds and see how it looks in this model.
  13. Another seven wide vehicle to go with my town. Features a crane with winch and side opening doors to the cab. It can also seat two figures side by side. Overall view: Back corner view: Truck with workers: Hope you enjoy!
  14. ^That's a neat idea. They could be sold like TLC sold the battle packs, but instead it's a transit pack. Once again, a bank would be a solid investment as well.
  15. 1.)Shopping center as the author mentioned (great MOC by the way!). 2.) Bank 3.)Post office Just some basic buildings that make a town possible, and not a new police station every other year!
  16. I sure hope they continue. I've never been so hooked on a series before like this. I think my next choice would be a bank of some sorts with lots and lots of $100 plates. :D
  17. Thanks. I'm glad you like it!
  18. After seeing numerous choppers out and about in Flickr, and most recently Ralph Savelsberg's, I decided to take a stab at one myself. I tried basing mine more off the Coast Guard Dolphin design, but not entirely so. The front could use some trans clear sloping for that added window effect and probably a cleaner rear propeller area, but overall, I'm extremely happy with how it turned out. Surprisingly, I built the majority of this all in one day and made some finishing touches on it this morning. Enjoy! For more pictures please visit my Flickr photostream. Thanks!
  19. Please more Technic Link treads and gears.
  20. ^Ah, do you mean F-22 Raptor? Anyways, yes, no war line of sets. It would shatter recent builder's urge to build military MOCs and that would just be no fun. My only need is that LEGO should mass produce more dark green and tan pieces. Then my problems would be solved. ;-) P.S. Does anyone know how they managed to build the Sopwith Camel and Red Baron (I think that's right, I may be wrong) a while back? That's directly going against what they're saying in their policy.
  21. Just a quick glimpse over this in Brickshelf, I knew right away it was you, awesome work! A warehouse idea is a great idea and something that is not done often enough. Your warehouse is nice, simple, and to the point so I congratulate you on that. Good work!
  22. This is a local Company Command Post of the IDC where the troops are enjoying a long needed rest from the recent fighting. I had a lot of fun building this model and I hope you enjoy it! Overall view: Sidewalk View featuring and abandoned crib, dried up blood stain, and a sentry stiding over to his buddies in the courtyard: Another view: For more detailed pictures, you can visit my Flickr or Brickshelf. Thanks for viewing!
  23. Another addition to the IDC, the mechanized scout vehicle was built to be a more off-roading vehicle with a higher clearance than the Slither. It can carry one scout trooper and is equipped with a 20mm cannon and an AT launcher. Overall view: Another view: Side door opens on both sides: For more pictures, please visit my Brickshelf or Flickr. Enjoy!
  24. Thanks! Two figs fit side by side in there.
  25. Thanks! I was wondering about the smoothness look to it as well, but I guess I like it this way.
