Well, it's finally done. The delivery truck and workers finally have somewhere to work. The interior is a WIP at the moment, but I have posted some pictures over on Flickr. The background is a joke, so I apologize for that. I haven't found a suitable method for photographing larger models yet. More pictures can be found on my Flickr account. I hope you like it! Chris

Yeah, thanks a lot! I believe I'm getting this tomorrow, so now I really can't wait.

Thanks a lot guys! I'm glad you enjoy it. @rupi No, I didn't try that. I usually try to get the doors even with the cab, so adding tiles to the side would make it both fatter and less smooth.

I'm glad all of you enjoy the MOC so much. I have this thing for vehicles from this era, so thank you!

Wow! Thanks a lot TheBrickster! It was a fun build, so I'm glad you enjoy it.

The majority of this truck was built through most of Saturday morning. I was going to take pictures yesterday, but I realized it still needed a few tune ups, such as the roof overhang over the wind shield. The chassis actually started out similar to my 1930s truck (five wide compared to six.) The fact that the front wheel covers were not even with the wheels bothered me, so I made this chassis six wide as well. I must say I like this model a lot better than my other 1920s/30s vehicles. The truck can fit two minifigures fairly well. I had to redesign the cab in order to fit any figures with a fedora cap, but that didn't prove too difficult. That I didn't know! Thanks for telling me that! Regarding the prices, for the US it has remained the same at $150, just like all of the other sets. So I can't complain.

By the looks of it, it is well worth the money. A 1x3 tile piece is introduced, for example. Great review Richard!

Wow, that's very cool. I like the direction LEGO is taking this.

Thanks! Here's a link to another MOC that used the same basic design. Click.

Thanks, Big Cam! You are probably right regarding the height, but the factory door was already built, so I had to compromise with the height. I also didn't want it too tall in comparison to the minifigures. Thank you, BlueBard! Thanks! It was the apprentice by the way. Well, thanks a lot! I always enjoy those ''American'' comments because that is exactly what I'm trying to go for, so thank you. Thanks.

A seven wide delivery truck built to supplement my upcoming factory MOC. It has a rear opening door as well as the two cab doors and can carry two workers. Also included is a load ramp for the trolley and packages. For more photos, please visit my Flickr photostream. Enjoy!

Hey, thanks Rick! Love the blog, so it's greatly appreciated. Thank you! The hands were the smallest pieces that would fit in there and make it look like there was multiple of something. A 1x1 plate piece would have looked tacky. Thanks! To be honest I'm still undecided as to what the factory should be making. The sneak attack on the coworker was a spur of the moment thing. I'm glad I did it though. I still have a little laugh when I look at it too. Haha, no not me. I remember watching this Ferrari show on TV with those assembly lines and their workers picking parts out and what not. It kind of got imprinted into my mind I guess. Nevertheless, I appreciate your comment. I'm glad my photos are nice to look at.

Thanks, Ricecracker! I'm glad you like it, Prateek. Indeed, they did! Thanks, BlueBard! I'm happy that you like it, I'm working on a delivery truck to go along with it now too. It looks as if there will be some space issues.

Wow, thank you! Of course you may use it, hope it fits in well with your store.

This factory worker comes armed with a parts trolley and hammer, ready to assemble whatever comes down the conveyor belt. A quick little build, these (there's going to be three) are for a factory style Cafe Corner compatible building that's about 50% done at the moment. Hope you enjoy! For more pictures, please visit my Flickr photostream. Thanks!

^Wow, awesome town. I wouldn't mind seeing more pictures.
-
Ah, yes. Stairs and a complete second floor. Great work!

My answer is much the same as BlueBard's. I build town because it is realistic and I can get ideas from anywhere I travel. It's not to say I do not have any imagination, but to be able to build literally the town you live in, for example, is particularly awesome.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it. I try not to go overboard in my models, so this is nice to hear. Well thank you! I don't mind at all. Thanks! I hate those large pieces (BLURPs?), they're way too much like DUPLO. I'm glad you like it. Glad to hear it! Thanks! Hearing this from someone who has flown one of these is quite the compliment.

I love the architectural style you put into this. That bay window is superb! Keep it up!
