Well after being absent for awhile taking care of other stuff, I was finally able to finish my boat yesterday. A main goal of mine while building this was to keep the design of the haul as simple as possible. I'm really happy with what I came up with and I want to build another boat soon. I did a lot of scrounging of white pieces towards the end. A lot of them cam from a torn apart White House set that provided a LOT of jumper plates. I hardly know anything about fishing or the fishing industry so there might be some minute details askew here and there. But, this is my first real attempt at capturing the proper look of a boat and the accompanying curved haul design (the freighter was different.) I hope you enjoy it! Thank you! There's also a barn out by my house that I was referencing. It's kind of a strange barn, because, as you mentioned, it's really tall compared to all the other barns around me.

Thanks a lot everyone! Captain Becker: I'm pretty satisfied with the look as it is now because this was the original look I was going for. There's so many variety of barns in both color and in style I don't think it matters too much. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Zorbas: Thank you! I'm happy that you like it. KielDaMan: Thanks! You're probably right, but I guess that's due to the minifigures proportions being all off. I also wanted to be able to fit a tractor and hay trailer in there at some point. I'm glad you like it though!

I haven't posted here in a long while, so here's my latest creation, a Classic Red Barn. It originally started out with a really basic roofless frame of the building with any sort of brick I could find—mostly yellow and blue. From there I counted the pieces I needed and ordered a good amount of red 1xX bricks. Another order soon followed to complete the roof and grass. By far the trickiest/irritating bit of this whole model was the top most roof sections. They can't just sit on there, or else they slide off, pushing the middle roof section off in the process. So I had to place them on little hinges, which worked pretty well, aside from the fact that they leave little gaps near the top. I'm really happy in how this turned out. I've never built a barn before, and now I finally have! Enjoy!

Thank you! I always have trouble trying to find a good balancing point between too decorated and under-decorated, so I'm glad you appreciate the fact that it is an old building. I was going to have some advertisements there, but the colors through it way out of style, so I opted out of it.

This building has been done for the better part of two weeks. Last weekend, I attempted taking pictures, but the lighting was terrible. So, this morning I adjusted the exposure level on my camera, which appeared to work quite well. Hope you all enjoy! To view all the pictures click here.

That's cool you've been to the U.P. as well, it's absolutely fantastic up there. I've been going up there for the last 7 years (3 in the Keewanaw) and it was about time I built a church. After another idea generating trip to the U.P. (mainly the Calumet area), I decided to take on a church. This build used nearly all of my basic brown bricks. The white bricks I had to use as much as possible so that I made sure this thing would get done. I started working on this about a week ago now, and it's finally completed. I hope you all enjoy! I built this in a span of about two hours. I had to dismantle my County Work Truck, but I think it was worth it. It seats two, has front wheel suspension, and a load bed that tilts back. For more pictures please visit Flickr. Hope you enjoy!

I ran out of the trans clear windscreen. I used all of them for my factory. The bricks are starting to grow on me though. Glad you like it!

This has been a WIP for a very long time. Though with the memory card for the camera, I finally got the incentive to finish this thing. I apologize for the really dark looking photos, but I'm still trying to adjust to this new camera. I think it's just the auto-exposure reacting to the white object.
