Noir Mafia: The Conclusion
Luke McAwesome replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hey, at least I gave you a challenge. And I appreciate your use of my excuse in MOTEE. -
I forget, you guys had "super powers" right? The group soon started drifting into sleep, one by one. Melody slowly fell asleep. She began having visions... She saw Bob with the detonator. And then a flash, a mushroom cloud. She saw Bob being mutilated and disintegrated by the blast. And then, to Zach, and herself, on a rooftop, both covered in blood, fighting off two phantoms, viciously slashing at them. And she got a look from her very own eyes, of a phantom about to slash her face again... She woke up, soaked with sweat, and panting. She noticed that Adam was still asleep, his head on her shoulder. Why is it I always get stuck with the crazy gangsters? she thought. --- Zach stood up on the highest point of the ruins. Bob must be out there somewhere. He's not dead... He can't be... "Hey," said a voice. Melody was walking over to him, stumbling over the ruins. When she arrived next to him, she sat down. He did the same. "I know what's troubling you... Bob was a good man. He gave his life to save ours. He knew what he was doing," she said. "I know... I just can't help but wonder if he's still out there somewhere," said Zach, looking into the evening sky, colored in orange and red. "He's in a better place. You know he's dead." He didn't want to believe it... But she was right. He had to be dead. "You should get some sleep, we have a long day ahead of us," she said. She got to her feet and walked off to the group. --- Mark soon walked past her, and went to go see what Zach was doing. Zach was still awake, and still contemplating. "I know what's troubling yo-" "I just got this lecture from Melody, I don't need it again." "Oh. Okay. Than let me try this: There was a man who lived in a shoe. He noticed that all his dream had come true. His house could fly, he could never die, and not to mention his wife had lied." "What...?" Zach asked. "I heard it from some show back when television was still around." "Don't you miss your old life? Back when everything made sense... When there were no aliens, or phantoms, or anything of the sort, and when there was just normal people doing normal things?" "I can't say I don't... Becase than I would be lying. I'm just like the old man who lived in a shoe." "Your wife lied to you?" "No... Okay, yes... But I still loved her." "True. So you still don't know what happened to your daughter?" "No. I hope I will soon, though." "I'm sorry... About what happened..." "No worries. I'm just going to go get some sleep." He stood up and walked back to the group, leaving Zach alone again. Zach watched as the sun set, and the moon rose.

Take a look at this picture and you'll see my opinion. I don't really mind, to be honest. I think it makes LEGO a whole lot funner funnier.

... Why yes, yes it is... What exactly are these things doing on a LEGO image hosting site? Oh boy! I can't wait to start! -
I have a question I'd like to get over with. Did Jim, Pete, and Max survive?

My sig basically shows my alter-egos in games, or simply just my imagination. And a couple of links to my Brickshelf and MOCpages, and links to all the chapters of my series.

Err... I'm Agnes, the maid, and I'm ready to clean up the castle! -
I used SlyOwl's idea... And it worked! (There's also a few shots of the Mercedes-Benz here) The Technic connector gets stuck in the rivets, which immediately brakes the car from rolling. Genius! Here's a shot of the WIP version, still more camo to add. I'd like to get most of the outer bley off and make it like the film version. The 1x1 studs make sure it doesn't fly out without my say in it. Here's the inside. I'm using a BrickArms PSG1 as the tranquilizer gun. Ouch... (I also realized that this isn't like the scene because A) It isn't on a jungle cliffside, and B) the winch isn't holding on to an RV. )
-
SlyOwl, coming from you, that means a lot. And I just added some more camouflage to the vehicle, all I need is a bit more reddish brown and green. (I've even got Eddie made for a cliff sequence diorama.) I think I'll try that if I find one, or two would be nice, in my brick boxes. That's absolutely brilliant! It's like a homemade brake! Thanks.

Thanks! And you read my mind, I was thinking about that too. There's room for one if I took out the back seats and crate!

Sure, go ahead, Zapper. Bob! Nooooooo! -
This is a concept design for the "High-Hide" from The Lost World: Jurassic Park. (I'll add photos from the movie version later.) The winch/tow cable first leads over a tall object(In this case, the boat mast.), then goes down to hook on to a Technic liftarm, and is connected in a way where it won't slide off. This was harder than you'd think to make, I had to find a way to make everything work perfectly. Sadly, I failed, as it does not work perfectly. Which is why this is just a concept. V1 Minifigures can fit perfectly inside. I quote and Eddie Carr and Ian Malcolm: "It's a high-hide... A high-hide, you know, you go up, and you hide. High. It lets the researchers go up to the treetops, and puts them out of harm's way." "Actually, you're putting them at a convenient biting-height." Here's an accurate shot of how the winch works to pull the High-Hide up a tree or something of the sort. And here's whta I had to do to make sure the car didn't roll forward. This really makes me angry, because it doesn't work to well. (My Mercedes-Benz ML-320's camouflage isn't really developed yet. ) --- I'll be posting more pictures of different versions soon. Striker

Melody's mind was racing. How could he have done this? He was so tough... After all we had done for him, we saved him from that stomach wound, he barely lived many times And suddenly he's dead? There's no way! she thought. "Zach... Do you think...?" "No. He couldn't have survived a blast like that... No one could..." he said. His mind waas acting just like her's. They were thinking the same thing. --- And so was Mark. Well, kind of. That jerk owed me fifty bucks! I swear, if we go back to his bunker, I'm stealing his money. --- "How could he? He was an important group member! He just abandoned us!" said Melody. "I don't know, he wanted to make sure he could die a hero. That's what he's probably always wanted," said Zach. The group stopped talking. They all started wailing. "Bob! Where are you?!"
-
"Aw naw," Melody said with dread in her voice. "Seconded," said Zach. "Thirded," said Mark, "Fourthed," said Jack. "Fift-" Chris began. "Alright I get it!" Melody interjected, Mark couldn't tell who was scarier. Melody, or this giant Phantom. For now, it's the Phantom, considering it has the power to actually stuff him in it's mouth. At least Godzilla isn't here! Wait... That might have been a good thing... "What are we going to do, Zach?" Melody asked him. "Um... Er... Ah... RUN!!!" he shrieked as the group tripped over themselves trying to run away from the giant. "You know... It's hard being the leader! You have to make all the choices, help everybody out, make sure you get every move right," Zach said breathing heavily. "Well, this ought to make a good memory!" she yelled, as everyone kept running away. "How so? We're probably going to die anyways!" Mark said, as he suddenly jumped next to Zach. "You know, he has a point," said Melody. "A certain truth I don't want to believe," said Zach.

My wanted sigfigs, including Staff & Members
Luke McAwesome replied to JCC1004's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I'm not really an important member, but the parts to make me are: Reddish Brown CW Anakin Hair, Power Miner "Rex"'s head, this ninja torso, and tan legs. EDIT: Durr... I just realized what this thread is really for. Sadly, the only part here that I have another of is the CW hair and the tan legs. Darn it. -
Oops! I forgot you had a light "sword".

Cool chapter, filled with ninja moves, Falcon Kicks, and best of all, override buttons! I forgot, who died? You said something about a funeral.

Very nice review, Raphy! The pictures are great, and the review is short, but sweet. This your first review, correct?
-
"Oh great..." Melody said under her breath. "I hate these guys," said Zach. "Er... Zach? Battleplan?!" Mark screamed as the phantoms closed in on them. "I don't know! I just know that this could be our final battle!" "Oh, come on! Zach! You and all of us have survived many encounters with bad things... We can make it out of this little situation!" "But the question is, how?" "Um... Let me think..." she opened up her pack, and ruffled around inside for a moment, and pulled out her pistol, but before she could even fire one shot, a phantom jumped her, and shoved her to the ground, and began to strangle her neck. --- Mark finally realized that this was it. This was his time to be a hero. Melody could die if he didn't do anything now. "YAARGH!!!" He pulled out his pistol and began shooting the thing in the head multiple times. --- "YAARGH!!!" BAM! SPLAT! BAM! SPLAT! BAM! SPLAT! Mark fired his gun at the phantom... Successfully! Blood covered Melody... She didn't realize it was her blood until after the creature fell off of her. It had clawed her face and neck, and she was bleeding heavily. At least she couldn't see the light, that was always a good sign. She got to her feet, and felt her face momentarily... There were scratch marks that dug into her face very deeply. Blood soaked her hair, and she wiped blood off her face with her sleeves. "Wonderful," she said to herself. She stumbled over to Zach, and pulled out her pistol to help. "Where's Mark?" Zach yelled into the crowd. "Over here!" he replied, shooting a phantom in the face. It fell to the ground. "Nice work, Mark!" "Wha thank ya!" he said, moving back-to-back with Zach.
