Mafstraw Manor - Chapter 2

This is ridiculous! You people are going to bring th entire Manor down! Take it easy! We can solve this without having to destroy anything, wouldn't you agree? -
Good point... By the way, Eskallon, you're adding on to the "Present" storyline, right? On with the story, then. Zach walked over to Mark. "You okay? That was a pretty far fall," he said. "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks," Mark replied. "Want some chocolate?" "... No thanks?" "More for me, than," he said with a devilish grin on his face. --- Garviel, CC, and Robert were over at a workbench tinkering around with some random items. "When are we going to do something? This is boring!" Garviel asked, and told, CC. "We are doing something. If you'd prefer to do something else, you could always hit something with that hammer. It's a good way to ease frustration." CC replied. Garviel picked up the hammer, and tossed it in a random direction. A loud *CLANG!* can be heard in the distance, as a shelving unit falls to reveal a hidden entrance. "... Cool..." CC said in awe as he saw the large doorway. "Nice aim, Garviel," said Robert. "Why thank you." "Hey! It was my idea for him to throw it!" CC told Robert. --- Zach watched as the shelves fell down to reveal a secret doorway. "That was amazing." Mark stood up, and said: "Let's go check it out!" The group(Minus a Melody) walked inside the room. It was a lab, filled with a bunch of odd gizmos. "These are some major-league toys!" CC said in delight as he giddily walked over to one of the tables. "Wow! This machnery is amazing! No wonder whoever was here hid it! I've never even heard of half of this stuff!" Zach and Mark stared at a giant drill planted in the middle of the room over a well. "That's one big drill," said Zach. The pair walked over to the well and looked down. "Oh! Hang on..." Mark said, searching his pockets. "I've been saving some of these," he said, taking out a glow stick. He bent it in half and the light ignited. He dropped it down the hole, and both watched as it disappeared into the darkness. They looked at each other and back down the hole. --- "Oooooh, my head hurts..." groaned Melody as she sat up. Her arms ached, her legs ached as well. And the back of her head felt like it had been cut open. She felt her head and felt some blood, still wet. "What the...?" And she noticed where she was. "Oh, right. I fell. Dang, that hurt." She looked around and saw nobody. "Where is everyone?" --- CC ran around the room multiple times, tinkering with the machinery. "CC, are you ever going to be done?" Robert asked him, smiling. "That depends if I can get this stuff working or not!" he replied. "Plus, we have time, Melody isn't awake yet." --- "Hello? Anybody? I'm awake! Is anyone here? How long was I out?" She got to her feet and started looking around. "Look at all this junk... who would just leave all this lying around?" Then she saw the doorway, and heard a few voices. "Oh! That's where you are." she said as she walked to the doorway. --- Zach stood staring down the hole, still. "How long are you going to look down that hole?" Mark asked, going back over to him. "As long as it takes to hear the sound of that glow stick hitting something," he said. "ZACH!" Suddenly something embraced him. He was about to pull out his gun, but saw it was Melody. She hugged him and let go. "You're awake I see," he said, raising an eyebrow. "Thank goodness, I thought a fall like that would kill me," she said. Zach looked from Melody, to Mark, and back to Melody. "It did." Her grin turned to a confused expression. "Huh?" "It did kill you. We were able to perform some 'Life-Giving Ritual' thi-" "It's a ceremony!" lyde interrupted from the other side of the room, not bothering to look up from the table. "'Life-Giving Ceremony'," he said, smiling. "Let me guess, Clyde's famous powers?" "More or less." She started laughing. "What's so funny?" Zach asked, concerned. "It's just that, I've almost died at least twenty times since the nuclear blasts started, and I actually did die! And yet, here I am again, alive, and feeling like a million bucks!" "I guess that can be a nice fishing story, huh?" Zach said, amused. "Maybe, just maybe." she said, and kissed him. --- CC looked over at Zach and Melody. "What?" "Daaang..." Mark said, thinking of an evil plot for revenge. Jack walked over to Mark and CC and asked: "What is i-Oh my goodness!" he yelled, making the two jump. Garviel and Robert just ignored them, still messing around with the gadgets. --- I've been waiting for the right time to have Mark say that line: "Daaang..." Maybe that should be YG-49's new catchphrase?

Read through the game and you'll find out. It's better if you read it yourself, it's a bit hard to explain in one post. -
Mr. Impatient. Alright, we'll keep going. But you don't expect a battle every couple of posts, do you? When we're walking and talking, we're revealing backstory (A bit, anyway) and interacting. We're learning more about each other.

Sorry, JD, I couldn't help myself... I knew someone would come up with a way to save her, but my point of doing that was to show just how much bad luck she has. -
Well, I'm currently in the works of creating some more The Lost World: Jurassic Park MOCs, and some more town modules. I just need some road baseplates.

Here you go! EDIT: Oh, cool, I'm a Count! -
If this counts, I'd day my favorite villain(s) would have to be the T-Rex(es) from Jurassic Park, and The Lost World: Jurassic Park. They can't help how they are, they're just hungry. All the time. I just wouldn't want to be anyone who was eaten in the films.

Madame, let him be himself. That's who we all came as, right? Well, maybe not the bloodsucking lawyer and his useless badge, but if the kind Priest wishes to be dressed as who he is, than let him. -
This is hilarious! I'd rather eat clams than be crushed by that walus. It would be both embarassing and very painful! I agree with Hound Knight, very clever use of the Vambrace. I couldn't identify it until he mentioned that.

I'm really excited about this new line next year, but not for more Fire sets. LEGO has done, what, 3 waves in the past 4 years? But I can't wait to see what LEG comes up for with the piglets and tractor. City Runabouts should be good too, but it may be just like City Minifigure Collection, which will be rather disappointing to me.
