  1. And it's true, too. And Shadows can vouch for that. I'm a truthful annoying. Where as Stauder is special, I'm truthful. "I never lie!"
  2. If you mean me, sorry, but I just wanted to get the "Destruction of vehicles" thing over with, before we moved on to a big goal.
  3. Okay, do we really need to take the "Sick-o" thing that far, Computerbug? She's not crazy, she just doesn't mind blood and gore is all.
  4. IMO, we're going a bit far with these breakfast polls, we should've just done one ultimate breakfast poll. That would have been cool. But I like peanut butter on toast... Yummers!
  5. What's your definition of "Side-Plots"?
  6. "Good luck everyone, and just remember, try not to die," said Zach. "So, Eskallon, which way are we heading?" Melody asked.
  7. Whoops! Sorry, I keep posting before you, Eskallon. Do you want me to edit my last post? "What about radios?" Melody asked. "Do we have any radios?" "No. Remember, your boat went over the waterfall," Chris said, rolling his eyes. "It's not my fault. Blame nature!" She told him. "So, what's this about nanobots?" Melody asked Eskallon.
  8. Sorry, everyone, if I keep revolving around my character. I just have a bunch of ideas. "A mine, huh? I'm in. Tell me where to go, when you figure it out," she said as she went up the deck to get back to the cab. She couldn't see very far past the front. Which made it difficult to drive. She considered stopping for the night but that put them at risk of losing somebody, or them getting killed. She put on a pair of Detectix Night Vision Goggles that she found in a crate behind the engine. She looked farther, about twenty feet past the front. The river seemed to stop. "Now, how's that possible?" She asked herself. She waited a second before it finally hit her. It was a waterfall. She ran down to the deck and opened the hatch. "Eh... Eskallon... I don't think the river's going to be too thin for a while... There's a waterfall!" "WHAT?!" They all stumbled up to the top deck and through the fog they saw that the iver ended. In midair. "No! No! No!" Zach yelled as he ran to the back of the boat. "Everybody get back here and look for a small landmass!" They all ran to the back of the boat, and started looking out for a large rock, or a hand-hold of some sort. There was no stopping the boat. They might be doomed. "Does anyone know how to make a lasso?!" Zach asked the crowd. Melody ran to the bottom deck, grabbed a rope, and ran back up. "I've only done this twice before, so here goes nothing!" She said. She lasso'd it around a boulder. It made it! "Quick! Zach! Grab on! Everybody grab on!" Zach grabbed the front of the rope, Melody behind him, Chris behind her, and the rest of the group behind Chris. Suddenly, the group felt their guts rise to the heads. "AHHHHH!!!" Shrill cries flew through the air. They're feet left the boat, and they tumbled through the air like rag dolls. The boat feel down at least thirty stories and collided with a bunch of sharp rocks at the bottom. An explosion rang out. Nobody dared to look down. "AAAHHHHH!!!!!" Melody, not sure if the rope could hold this much wait, screamed at the top of her lungs over the sound of rushing water: "Start climbing!" The group, using all their strength, started climbing up the rope. Suddenly, a jump sent them waving through the air again; the rope couldn't hold on much longer. Zach was at the top of the waterfall, and found some rocks to grab on to. He stood up, but he had to keep one hand on the rock. The rest of the group did the same. Jack was the only one left to get up, he was slowly making his way up. "Jack! You've got to hurry!" Melody yelled down at him. She held her hand down over the falls to grab him when he got there. Only a few more feet now... "AAAHHH!!!" Melody slipped over some mud and Zach grabbed her hand. Zach couldn't support her, and fell with her, but they grabbed on to the rope. Oh, this is bad. Zach thought. The three held on for dear life. Five seconds earlier Chris watched as Melody held her hand down to help Jack up. "AAAHHH!!!" SHe had slipped on mud. He watched in horror as Zach grabbed her hand and fell down, too. "Oh no!" He yelled. The group moved forward to go help their friends. Their hands slippery with mud, the three couldn't hold on any longer. But they noticed the rope moving. "Pull!" Garviel yelled as they moved in rhythm to pull the trio up. They finally made it up the falls, and staggered back to the riverside, and got up on the beach. Everyone was soaking wet, and shivering. "Thanks," said Melody. "No... Problem..." Zach said, out of breath. His hands were bleeding, as were Melody's, and Jack's one hand. The rope had cut their hands up. "Well, genius, what now?" Chris asked. "We have no transportation. We have no food. And, we almost died. We're going to have to walk, I guess," said Melody. "What do you think, Zach?" Thunder boomed in the sky above them.
  9. way back on page 13, we discovered a dead body. I got it sent to the lab to get it analyse. I got the test results in my post and began a flashback. That's right. I'm guessing it's that girl?
  10. While they were walking through the forest searching, the group was chattering amongst themselves. "Where do you think they went?" "Do you think they're dead?" "You think it was the aliens? Or maybe the phantoms?" Were all common questions. Melody couldn't stand this anymore. Splitting up was one move a group should never do. Especially in an apocalyptic setting. Suddenly, Melody stopped. As did Jack. They smelled smoke. "Oh no... No, no, no, no!" Melody's voice started getting louder with every "No". She ran into the trees, the rest of the group following. Fire. Everywhere. It was from her car. Birds, flying everywhere in the skies, rabbit scampering around, a few animals laying dead, burning on the groun- Suddenly, a ear-shattering cracking sound came from a tree. It was tipping forward. And it was on fire. The tree tipped towards the group, they all started running in various directions. The tree crashed to the ground, sending Adam, Melody, and Chris flying four feet into the air, arms and legs flailing. Each one of them thunked on to the ground; then, they noticed that the ground one foot before them was burning quickly. A loud explosion blew two trees right out of the ground. Her car had exploded! One of the trees landed right in front of Jack and Robert, missing them by about three feet. "Holy megablocks!" they both yelled at their near-death experience. "Everyone! Regroup at the boat!" Adam yelled. The group started dodging flames, and finally arrived at the boat. "That... was crazy!" John said. "I'm sorry, I, I forgot about the car... I should've put out the fire in the engine; I didn't expect to make a wildfire!" Melody tol them all. "Well, you did. And because of you, we all almost got killed! What else could go wrong today?" Jack said.
  11. That's embarassing. I fixed it, Eskallon. I could have sworn you'd introduced yourself earlier. Meanwhile, at the boat, Melody was tinkering with her Detectix Body Radiataion Detector. Concentrating on fixing up the batteries. "What's that?" She jumped, half frightened, half angry that someone interrupted her from her work. It was John. "It's a Detectix Body Radiataion Detector. The batteries are dying, so I'm using an old trick to recharge them." "How do you do that?" "Trade secret," she winked. Everyone was waking up. Adam came running out of the forest, and yelled: "They're not there! They're gone!" "What?!" Melody screamed. She dove off the boat and landed in the shallow water, the rest of the group did the same. She stormed over to the forest, along with Adam, and Jack, who had preferred to walk across land instead of in the water, to prevent from ruining any robotic parts. "Where were they last when they went to go sleep?" she asked Adam. "Near that tree; see? There's a water bottle. That was the water bottle I gave to Zach to wake you up with," said Adam. "What ever happened to sticking together?" Jack said to nobody in particular. "They wouldn't have just left without us. Zach wants to help survivors, not abandon them," said Adam.
  12. "It's going to be hard for us all to both get along and live with each other on long trips, but we're just going to have to deal with it." The group had been walking for about twenty minutes; there was a clearing, with a river running out into a lake. The boat sat floating in the river, with crates and barrels stacked in various areas. "Not bad," said Zach thoughtfully. "It's not much, but it gets the job done. I've run into various surviviors in the past, but all of them died eventually. Whether it was in an ambush, or just disease. There was once a child aboard, with his mother... They both died after four days. An alien attack. They seem to like me for some reason. Especially playing around with their guns, trying to shoot me. I think it's a game to them, hunting humans." "You're telling me that the aliens try to kill you by playing a game?" Adam asked. "Yes," said Melody. "There was this one time where I-" "Can we please get going before we get ambushed again?" Zach said. "Yes, my bad. Sorry, I get distracted sometimes. It's just sort of amazing that there's this many survivors out there, still. Thanks for accepting me in your group," said Melody. "We'll see whether it lasts," Bob whispered to Adam. "I doubt she'll live more than two days with us. She won't be able to keep up," Adam whispered back. Melody led Zach over towards a stack of crates and barrels. "There's food in the crates, and fresh water in the barrels. Help yourself, guys," she told them all. She began ranting how they should all sit down, and that they shouldn't eat all the food at once, and that it was all she had. "Oh, woman, shut up..." Sam said under his breath. Zach, Jack, and Bob started talking amongst themselves. "Do you think we can trust her?" Bob asked Zach. "Maybe. We'll see how things work out," said Zach. "She seems to be nice enough. But, still, not sure if she can be fully trusted. Maybe we shouldn't tell her everything." Jack said gruffly. "Let's see how she acts. Maybe she's really who she says she is." Melody started up the boat. "So, Mr. Smith, just which way should we go?"
  13. Right... As for leetting the dog have access to my room, the minifigure was missing for about two or three days. The minifig blended in with the carpet, and my dog just came in to say hello, and when he left, a minute later, I can hear the licking of LEGO on dog teeth. I figured the figure had made it o a box while I've been moving, but I guess I was wrong. So, yeah, it's my fault for losing it, and my dog's fault for eating everything. What's disturbing, is that my mom went to go pick up the dog's, er, chocolate droppings,, and found a LEGO hand sticking out of the pile. It looked like a minifigure was reaching for help! It was just the hand of course, though.
  14. Part of my character's description:
  15. A horn honking in the distance could be heard; a few seconds later, a car plowed through some trees, crawling with aliens. A young woman was drving, with cuts and bruises all over her face. *SMASH!* The car struck a tree, sending the aliens flying, and the airbags flew out. The engine was smoking, creating a blurry mess of the vehicle. "Holy megablocks..." Zach said when the smoke cleared; he saw the jumbled mess, about five aliens lay dead on the ground, and a smashed up old "duck". "Ummm... Who's that?" Mark asked, to no one in particular. "Not sure," said Zach. He took a few steps forward only to see the woman out cold. "Is she dead?" Mark asked Zach. "Nope. Does anybody have a canteen or a water bottle?" "I do!" Adam tossed Zach a bottle of water. Zach popped off the cap and splashed it on the woman's face. "Hey, jerk, what was that fo-" she began, but she noticed the small crowd of humans standing a few yards away. "Hi!" Mark said, waving. "Eh... Hello... Who are you people?" "Survivors," Zach told her. "And who are you?" Bob asked. She had a small coughing fit before she answered. "My name's Melody Striker, I was on my way to the next city when these guys jumped me," she said as she held up the limp arm of an alien in the passenger seat. "Fierce little things, aren't they..." she said as she picked up an alien pistol. One alien in the back seat stirred. "But not anymore," she shot the alien in the head. Mark stirred uncomfortably. "What? Never seen alien brains?" she asked as she reached in the head and pulled out a sticky, slimy, lump of what looked like intestines jumbled together. Someone in the crowd gagged. "This chick is crazy," Bob whispered to Adam. "No doubt about it. Should we leave her here?" "Can I come with you guys? My boat's just downhill from here, in the river. We can use it for transportation if you'd like," she said as she tossed the brain into some bushes.
  16. Good point... I never seem to think of that kind of thing.
  17. So much for my entrance at the bottom of the building. I think they drove right past me. And Eskallon, if you wouldn't mind maybe using some punctuation? I couldn't really picture in my mind how they were saying each thing, like if it was sarcasm, a question, etc. It would be appreciated. Also, what's this "cart" you're talking about? Is it like a shopping cart, a mine cart, or what? I'll wait till they arrive in the next city, I guess. It's apparently a long way away.
  18. Thank you, master my good friend Stauder. As for toast winning... *high fives*
  19. Hinckley, I can't believe I have you as a rolemodel... I think Stash is mad at you for killing him... You better respond... Or he will use his unique SW Galaxy Regulator powers to fry your brain.
  20. Oh, trust me, I know. Er... *flashback* *mows down Stauder with bus*
  21. It sounds fun, and the name isn't bad. I'll try to get a role.
  22. What's the name of your game, Zepher?
  23. *bows down to my shrine to Stauder TT Shadowstoast* It's not like I have shrines to any of them, or anything... Okay, how did you know? Toast is for me. I like some of the other things, but toast is my favorite.
  24. I agree; perhaps some sort of alien diabolic plan... Maybe some sort of mother-ship arrives with nukes?
