Which movies can you watch over and over again?
Luke McAwesome replied to Bobskink's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Ah, yes! Thank you for reminding me. Isn't there a fourth movie coming out? Anyway, you can all add those movies to my list... -
Which movies can you watch over and over again?
Luke McAwesome replied to Bobskink's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Very interesting thread, Bobskink. Jurassic Park The Lost World: Jurassic Park II Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (Please, everyone, resist starting a flame war.) Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark Congo The Scream trilogy A New Hope Back to the Future(Only the first.) Ghost Adventures: The Documentary Film(I'm not sure if this counts.) You have won all my respect. I can almost quote the entire script of The Lost World. -
Brilliant. Please, someone... notably Shadows, please feel free to get revenge for my killing a lot of you in Mystical Castle and Noir. [/provocation]

Oh, you'll get cut alright. By my razor-sharp teeth and huge talons on my feetsies!

My favorite dinosaur's celebrating his birthday today! It's a miracle you haven't been hit by a meteor yet. "Want! Cake! Noooooow!"

I was asleep most of the time, but we both know that it's impossible for the Grand Duke to go that long without Eurobricks. I can picture it. "Withdrawal! Withdraaaawal!" *Ahem* Sorry. Couldn't resist... And thank you, what's your face, for answering my question. It probably is just my laptop...

Attack of the Clone Decals.
Luke McAwesome replied to Dutch's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Very nice decals; they're beautifully designed. Up to LEGO's standards, mind you. I don't think they can get any better! -
I knew you'd say that... Happy birthday, Omicron, my favorite overly-sarcastic BIONICLE fan(), and all those other crazies out there.

Darn it, I clicked this topic thinking it would have something to do with a pizza shop train car. To be honest, I've never seen one of these displays until now; I actually used to have a Lionel bank or clock or whatever that was like this, except extremely minimized, when I was younger. I still wonder what happened to it. I'll have to ask my parents. But I'm hoping another train expert will come along and make a huge pizza display and share it with us here on Eurobricks. Thank you for making this interesting topic, TheBrickster.

Very nice, and very fast; thanks for the update. By the way, I'm not sure if this is considered a bug or not, but on my desktop, when I move my cursor over the Eurobricks icon, and it reads the link, it says (OFFLINE) Board Offline still, like earlier today when you were updating. Any reason why this is?

Happy birthday, Rasy. Hope you get some LEGO and stuff yourself with delicious food.

Cyberpunk Discussion Thread
Luke McAwesome replied to user's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Indeed. Also, CallMePie, would you mind just making your posts a bit longer? One of the rules, which Computerbug "borrowed" from Apocalypse, is "Don't make short posts and make them worth the read." or something... -
Yay! Happy birthday Schmelt! Hope you'll have, or maybe even had, a great day!

At least WhiteFang noticed some time ago that Sieggy, Sir Dillon, and I were missing... but no one noticed once the pair came back without me. -
I'm not ImperialScouts, but here's a bit of info regarding your question... You would have had to sign up in the sign up thread, then ImperialScouts chose the players until his list was filled. The whatever number of lucky people who made it into this are locked in to the game unless they either unable to play, or retract their thoughts about wanting to play, and that's where the reserves list comes in. Then, the first person on the reserves list gets to replace that character. The reserves list is also full, I think... but you should PM ImperialScouts and ask him if he can add you to the list. But at this point, I doubt you or me would be able to play; I'm at the butt end of the reserves list filled with about 10 people, and that many people haven't ever dropped out of a game before. So, sorry. But make sure you keep a keen eye out once Imperial Soldier's Mafia ends, because a while after, sign up for the next game comes up!

I doubt it; you can't beat the classics. And when it comes to the works of George Lucas, you know it's gotta be a thrill ride. Of course, excluding some of the stuff in the prequel trilogy. I must admit, that when me, my dad, and my uncle went to go see ROTS in theaters back in 2005... it was amazing. As soon as the beginning story starter rolled and the big STAR WARS sign exploded on to the screen, the entire theater broke into applause. And I remember being so excited when the beginning space battle started... I knew, This is it! This is the beginning of the end! And I couldn't help grinning at the sheer awesomeness of the special effects. Sure, there is a line where you shouldn't cross as far as special effects go, and James Cameron's Avatar is a fine example, regardless of being the number 1 movie of all time, but I still don't think you can really overdo it when it's a story set in such a world where everything is future oriented; even if it is set a long time ago. My point is, I'm sure you will enjoy watching the Star Wars movies, RXBandit. It'll be worth your while, and I doubt you'll get bored. I will warn you that there are some scenes, such as in Attack of the Clones, where it has absolutely no reason to be in there except to make the film longer, and my point is the romance scenes for Anakin and what's-her-face, pointles skissing, dramatic pick-up lines, blah blah blah...

Truck Driver kidnapped over lego in Northamptonshire, UK
Luke McAwesome replied to danim's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That figures. The Sun's has quite the reputation presently around the LEGO Fan Community. Ever since that Osama Bin Lego incident. I think this whole thing's ridiculous. Maybe there's some bizarre reason behind the theft of the beauty products, but I just don't get why a pair of adults would steal all that LEGO! Resale? Personal collection? Who knows! You know, my parents sometimes told me not to take LEGO with me to some places... of course, they never had a problem with LEGO in the car. Now I'm freaked out that some British guys are going to steal my LEGO collection. -
But now you're ruining Big Cam's fun. Anyway, you're just making me more and more sad.

Oh, please God, no. 4000 posts is enough... He's the only legit person on Eurobricks with that rank... Isn't that enough to make us jealous?

BOB SAGET! What the heck was that?! *I'd like to run to the temple entarnce and peer inside, seeing if there's words written in blood on the walls!* Dad, come with me! Hurry! We gotta see if someone died!

Do you like studs hidden or showing?
Luke McAwesome replied to Legoist's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I prefer studs, while I like my MOCs to be realistic, I still like to keep in mind that it's just LEGO. Such as other people have said, studs look great on grass. Grass is really never even enough to be flat and smooth, so studs make it look rugged enough which gives it the essence of real grass. Studs are just giant clumps of grass. One reason I like stud sover tiles is that I don't have very many tiles. But some MOCs, such as spaceships, look better evened out with tiles, because it gives them that sleek futuristic look. So, while I do prefer studs, I'm still torn between the two. I guess it really depends on what kind of MOC you're building. -
What is the hardest Lego set you have ever built?
Luke McAwesome replied to SharkMan's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The UCS Y-Wing. My biggest set to date. And I hope that I never get one any bigger, because that was one scary build.
