Dystopia Mafia - Sign-up!

Sign me up, I miss playing THE GAME Muahahahaha! Anyway, sign me up, guys. -
Don't be a hater. Hey, there's plenty of forums out there, for everything. A quick search on Google reveals tons upon tons of LEGO sites. Anywya, if you don't want to join, no one's forcing you to. It's just fun to get involved with different communities; different sites have different standards. In this case, it's a fun change of scenery, and if you stay around, you get to see a site develop. Seeing as I came here about 4-5 years after Eurobricks was first created, I didn't get to see the entire history of EB. But I will get to see Brick Ark's. There's plenty of advantages and up-sides. Also, trains would fit under "Town". Just think of the bright side!

Yeah, last night's girl scout cookies call was hilarious! Kristin doesn't get to do much anymore, but when she does, it's always funny! You should have seen Jared's face throughout it. I guess they put the edited version on YouTube, so you can still see it, MrCustomizer.

A bit of background information... Friday Night Cranks is a hilarious live prank call show, live every Friday night starring Jared, 18, and Kristin, 16 who are cousins. A bunch of teenagers with a serious sense of humor. They go live through Stickam.com's live video services. Live every Friday night, from 9 - 11 EST in the United States, 6 - 8 PST, 2 AM or whatever in Indonesia... http://www.fridaynightcranks.com/index.php Anyway, this is what I look forward to every week of my life... please don't be all "Wow, Striker, you have no life if THIS is all you have to look forward to every week...". Because it's true. LOL! But you can also watch FNC live every Friday night from their homepage, on that Pioneer TV that's on the right side of the screen. Any one else a fan?

Guys, come on! The internet is a complete trap today, full of Rickrolls, Smouch traps, and tricks, such as Topeka's search engine function. Learn to take the jokes lightly, or you may get your feelings hurt or think about deleting your account on FBTB!

I hope all of you realize what day it is. Nice joke, Siegfried. The picture did fool me a for a minute; it looks very realistic.

"CC!" Jackson yelled, stumbling around the area. Jackson was holding a tracker device, tracking CC through the electronics on his person. It turns out, just like how in the past, when the police would track cell phones, they can now almost track anyone by any electronics, due to the fields of energy that are given off. "CC!" he called again. The tracker said he was just around the corner... Jackson swore; where could he be? The tracker couldn't be lying, he designed this particular one himself. Jackson started to enter the numbers into his briefcase... "Jackson?" CC and a group of others were standing about fifteen feet away, around the corner. "Is that you?" "There you are! I've been trying to find you all night. Why are you all here?" "A long story, and some violence here and there... But I think we've found some new friends to help stop Borgiss! This is Marcus, Kiara, and Samantha." He glared at the two women. "You're the two who went through the warehouses earlier, huh?" "Yeah, why?" asked Samantha. Jackson was still fiddling with his briefcase behind his back. "No, no, I was just wondering. It's not often we get visitors..." It clicked open. Finally! Jackson whipped out a pistol from the small case, aiming it at CC. "CC, get down!" Marcus shouted, pulling him down. Jackson fired a shot, barely missing CC. "Jackson, what are you doing?!" "CC, no matter how hard you try, you can't stop Borgiss's plan. It's far too late. Maybe if you had come back sooner, you would have had a better chance..." he said. "All this time, I've been monitoring everything in the RATs, reporting information back to Borgiss, but this... this was just disappointing! At one point, there was a red light, and that was when you arrived at the warehouse district. Then I knew I had to put a stop to this myself." "You're wrong, we can stop Borgiss. And we will. But first, we're gonna have to get you out of the way. We have no time for traitors like you," CC said, standing up. "Sorry it had to come to this, CC, but it's my job," Jackson said. He pulled the trigger... but the gun only clicked. "Maybe it would have helped if you had loaded the next bullet," said CC. Marcus tackled Jackson, sending the gun flying through the air, and Jackson to the floor. Marcus pulled him to his feet, and pushed him into a lower-level sewer pipe. A splash, a crunch, and a scream could be heard fifteen feet below. CC peered into the hole, and couldn't see anything. "I'd like to see him get himself out of that one," said CC, disgusted that he was once friends with this traitor. "Guys, lets get out of here. It smells..."

This is going to sound stupid, considering I never seem to post anymore for some very odd reason, but I thought you and Sandy were at your apartment; or did I skip a post? Anyway, I can understand this if the reason is that you wanted to have a reason to post, of course... You're making me sad, even though I'm just a lazy jerk who needs to take the time to post in a game every now and again. -
Well, you managed to make my computer cry. I really need to get to work, all I do is procrastinate this kind of stuff. I should show creativeness instead of laziness. Maybe I have an idea... if you count a dolphin, a walrus, and the RMS Titanic.

Removing minifigs arms and legs
Luke McAwesome replied to posades's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Big Cam, I'm gonna be honest, through my life, I've never been exactly afraid to remove the limbs of my minifgures, even though I myself am like you and took good care of my toys(And still do!). I'm sure people will disagree with what I'm about to tell you, I have removed the limbs from minifigures all my life to accomplish a figure I wanted to make, and I think only one torso has ever cracked. As for the legs, Ralph has a point; they do not stay as stiff as new. But regardless of whether you take them off or not, they won't stay stiff forever! Same with the arms; if you move them around enough over the course of a period of time, they will get either loose or get to the point of cracking if it's a very old torso. I don't play with my toys as much as I used to when I was, say, 7. Thus, I really can't give you any modern examples. But a good older example would be taking a look at this BrickLink page, you'll notice about 99% of them are not in New condition, which of course, is due to age. So, my point is, make the best of minifigures, a portion of great things don't last forever. It's up to you to decide whether you want to make a cool minifig or pose, such as the kneeling position, or to leave them be all their minifig life. My reccomendation would be to try it out on just a pair of plain black legs, or a pair of legs you don't use, and just see what you think. Good luck! -
Happy Birthday MrCustomizer Sir Dano & jmupton2000
Luke McAwesome replied to LuxorV's topic in Community
Happy birthday, Dano, old buddy! Hope you get some LEGO. And that's terrible. (Happy birthday to everyone else, too.) -
I normally keep the big set boxes, such as City Corner, Apple Tree House, Emerald Night, Medieval Market Village, etc. up in my closet just because these sets are special to me. As for little boxes, I keep only the ones I feel are truly necessary to keep next to the shelf that holds my TV. But only ones like the Classic Town Emergency Repair Truck and others. Thanks for making this topic, mrblue, it will be very interesting to read how the other FOLs store their set boxes.

I prerer my MOC cars to be 6 wide. Larger vehicles like big trucks and RVs to be 8 wide. I don't really like LEGO's 4 wide cars. 7639 Camper was spot on for me.

2012. I... I can't even begin to say how ridiculous this was. Nice special effects, but that seemed like the only reason they made this film. I wish they could just leave people alone about these dumb "prophecies from the grave " and if we die, we die. Let's not make stupid movies just to satisfy our need for watching people get crushed by skyscrapers and fall of cliffs in giant airplanes. The escape scenes and narrow escapes in the escape scenes were the worst part. They just had to BARELY make it out each time. The airplane going between the falling skyscrapers, just barely misisng the walls on each side... it was so predictable, that it was disappointing. Of course, movies like The Day After Tomorrow and Independence Day were personal favorites of mine. This movie was a downfall for Emmerich, and I wish he could have come up with his own idea for his last apocalypse movie. Not steal the Mayan's movie. That's just copyright piracy. So, yet again, we get a film with good special effects, but a terrible plot and terrible actors. I think the reason the actors did bad in this film was because they had no idea how to react to an apocalypse situation, because it's never happened before. And hopefully will never happen, because if December 21st, 2012 is like this movie, I will be ticked. And I doubt I have to explain why...

Hey guys, I'd just like to put out there, especially to Computerbug, that I haven't forgotten about the game. I will start posting soon enough, I'm just waiting for the right moment. So no one kill me. -
What was the last movie you watched?
Luke McAwesome replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I disagree with your disagreement. I found the movie very interestig and rather suspenseful, for a war movie. In movies like that, you never know who's gonna die. But other than that, I really didn't expect any of the other deaths in the film. And all over, it was worth the watch. I still haven't finished it completely, but I will tonight. The last movie I watched was Shaun of the Dead. Hilarious action/comedy flick. I reccomend giving it a shot if you like zombies and comedy. -
Hey, we had our ups and downs in both games, and we exchanged our fair share of snarky comments. Anyway, I'll do my best to build something, but I don't know where to start.
