Hey, no rush, we're patient. Well, maybe I shouldn't vouch for the others, so, I'm patient. -
Mystical Castle - Day 9
Luke McAwesome replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
The point of this is, we just need to end this right here, right now. There's only six of us left, not counting the King and Queen. And their probably under such protection they can't be killed unless the Dragon's win. According to what was said by the killer last night, only one Dragon remains, I believe. I just want to go back to being a simple maid, that isn't overwhelmed by stress and subconsciousness. Ah, those were the days, hanging out with Ethel in the west corridor, watching Peter and Hugh do stuff, sighing dramatically... Oops, back to business. Although we can't be sure of the allegiance of our dear lone ambassador, it's worth a shot at this point. I must admit, we may not make it much longer if we tear each other apart. We've been working together as a well-oiled machine(Whatever that is), and have been killing of scum with very few casualties, unlike other games... of life. Apparently, Ambassador Simnel is now dead. I'm gonna feel a bit scummy myself if he turns out to be a Citizen. -
Mystical Castle - Day 9
Luke McAwesome replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Phew, I was scared that tonight would be the end of me, but I lived one more night! Anyway, it's sad that the good Admiral had to meet his fate. He was a good man, and I don't recall ever suspecting him of anything. poor guy. Ha! I told you all, Richard was scum! Who's the Crazy Maid now, HUH?! Let's get this thing over with. Vote: Ambassador Simnel/Quarryman Also, Chef, I believe Edward escaped and ran away as fast as he could. I don't think he is still lurking in the Castle... -
Well, the motorcycle tag is for having a motorcycle and heavily participating in this thread I believe, and the ghost tag thing I think Dragonator started by posting an image of a duplo ghost costume for a Duplo minifigure. The flags are for mostly staff, fellows, and some important members or members that are the staff's "favorites", I would expect.

Best way to make an accordian connector?
Luke McAwesome replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Carbohydrates, thank for that! It's brilliant! Actually, though, I was going to make a diorama of the cliff sequence, and sadly, it need's to be sturdy enough to hold up the trailer off said cliff, and be able to bend in a sort of elastic way to leave the RV on the top of the cliff. That's why I don't think I'm getting many results. Maybe I'll just try my own netting structure, and see how it works out. -

Best way to make an accordian connector?
Luke McAwesome replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'd prefer it to be as accurate as possible to the Fleetwood RV in the film. Here's the best picture I could find: I remember finding this a while back on Brickshelf, but I still don't understand how he did it. I know he used technic beams, a technic connector, and some netting, but that's all I can see from this picture. -
Best way to make an accordian connector?
Luke McAwesome replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the link, SlyOwl. I'll read more of it it a minute. I was thinking, I need something like this that goes all the way through, with some sort of technic connector or something. Sort of like this tubing, except it'd need to go through all the way. -
To start off, I wasn't sure where to put this... I'm currently making the trailers from The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and to do this correctly I'm going to need to find a way to make an accordian connector that's sturdy, can connect the trailers, and have it be able to bend in any way. For those that don't know what an accordian connector is, just think about this. It's the thing that connects a bus and it's trailer in some cities, or connects the car on a monorail, or sometimes they're even on trains. But this is where the MOC experts come in. I need your help! If you have any ideas at all, please post them here. Thanks for reading. -Striker

Last night I made two BrickLink orders for parts for my trailers from The Lost World... You shall see them soon enough.

Mystical Castle - Day 8
Luke McAwesome replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Clear? CLEAR?! The only thing clear here is you! We can see right through you and your lies! So, because we're standing up against a Dragon that makes us all scum does it? So I guess that means that Lady Papelion was scum because she was crushed by a couple turkeys and some potatoes? And what about Francis? Because he told the truth, and that made him scum?! See what I mean? He's talking crazy, even though I'm supposed to be the crazy one here! He's randomly accusing castle Staff, just because we're voting for him! To me, it looks like a desperate attempt to make people go after us! I can assure you I have NO night action, as I've clearly stated before. I wouldn't be very useful as a Dragon if I don't have a night action! So, Richard, why don't you use your "investigator powers" to investigate a couple of us "Scummy Staff" and see what your results come up as? Oh, please. I would like you to prove your investigative night action, please. Any proof you can give us? Considering you're "on our side", maybe you should share your results. -

Richard, I realize now what you're saying. You're a Dragon. Vote: Richard/Ricecracker -
My vote goes to 7639 Camper. Simply a beautiful set, with a beautiful minifigure. The design is simple, yet it's such a good deal! But, I also really love 10194 Emerald Night. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! The fact that includes so many new, and awesome colored, pieces, makes the set a must have if you want some more dark green.

Sounds to me like you have something very special! There's nothing on BrickLink, so my guess is that it's simply a very cool defect!

Also, 5150 Lego, is the model you were talking about this one? Of course, this is the same model, but this one was just customized with paint and inside details. (scroll down to see pics) See here.

Mafstraw Building Contest
Luke McAwesome replied to Zepher's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, not much has really happened, except a few people getting killed. But it sounds like a good challenge, can't wait to see what the others have(or may have, or will make) made! -
Mafstraw Manor - Chapter 5 (Part B)
Luke McAwesome replied to Zepher's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Oh no, Rudy! I don't think this knife wound is fatal, but I have a feeling he won't be running any time soon. Maybe some of us should stay here with Rudy, and some of us should go investigate... ... Erm... I'm willing to go into the unknown, for I love a good mystery! Who will join me?! *trips over himself and falls to the ground* ... Ignore that... But I really do love a good adventure! -
Happy birthday to my favorite trading partner! And a happy birthday to the rest! I hope you all have a great day filled with LEGO, joy, family, and happiness! (Now I feel all mushy! )

New Games Regulator: Dragonator!

Congratulations, Dragonator! I don't think there could be anyone better for the job! -
But that would be IMA.

I'll probably chase after kids throwing candy at them and screaming "Why won't you just die already?!". Nah, I'll probably just hand out candy to whatever small amount of kids come, and if I run out, I'll give them free mathematical calculations written randomly on pieces of paper.

I wasn't confused at all, but you make a very interesting point. "Never buy something if you can't afford the rip-off payments that the government expects you to pay every month, especially if that means you want to modify you're car just to make it look anything like the one in the movie you obsess over."
