RV Mobile Lab and SUV Field Research Vehicles
Luke McAwesome replied to Luke McAwesome's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks. I like to take precautions now and again in case my pictures are taken or used. It's for protection against people stealing your pictures. Sure, they could crop it out, but it was a worth a shot. Thanks, Milan! Yeah, I was trying to tink of what to put in there. Maybe I'll add some more little details. Batbrick, coming from you, that means a lot! And yeah, I thought some of the colors were kind of random, too. Although, I can't really fix the lime green hood, because it's the only one in a green tone I have. And it has the little hatch/box on its stickr like on the real vehicle. Yeah, not my original idea, but for some reason not many people use them on MOCs. Thank you, MantaMan! -

If there was a cabinet big enough to hold two midget minifigs, it would take up half of the trailer. I don't think so... their sort of for display, but minifigs can fit on the bottom beds. Yeah, I can't wait either. Hopefully you'll like it. -

Thanks! I gave up on that. I think it's just simpler to do it like this. I just read it a week or two ago, as well. Wonderful book, absolutely wonderful. The trailer right now actually has two tables in it, it's just not visible in the current pictures. Just wait until the Brichself gallery is moderated, and you'll see it. Click to see it! By the way, the cast here in these MOCs are Jack "Doc" Thorne, Eddie Carr, Ian Malcolm, and Sarah Harding(I changed her hair at the last moment. Not sure why...). I may also eventually make Arby Benton and Kelly Curtis, too. -
I am proud to present to you, my latest pair of MOCs! A pair of expedition vehicles for all your dinosaur-spotting needs. These are just some vehicles for my upcoming series of MOCs and scenes. An RV and an SUV? You may be thinking "I understand that an RV would be good to spend the night in after a long day in the field, but what good would it do for research? And what about the SUV?" My response? See for yourself. RV Mobile Lab and SUV Field Research Vehicles - A World Lost to Nature Let's begin our tour, shall we? SUV Here's our modified Mercedes-Benz M-Class, which includes a GPS inserted into the dashboard, a toolbox in the back, a winch, barred windows for protection against the pesky dinos, and a computer system in the back of the cab. We also have our two-way hand-held-radios, an Apple laptop, a tranquilizer gun just in case, and a Nikon camera for taking pictures of some of the most spectacular animals on Earth, which by that I mean the ones that have been dead for millions of years. (Tranquilizer gun is BrickArms HCSR prototype.) RV and Trailer And here's our RV, it has all you'll need for a few days in the field. Including sleeping space for four, a table and chairs, and a sink. And here's our RV trailer. This is where the real work is done. We have a satellite phone, radios, a desk, and a desk outfitted with technology I can't even begin to explain. We also get internet. What's ironic is that our trailer is just about as long as the RV towing it! --- I hope you enjoyed our tour of our research vehicles. --- Expect actual scenes and dioramas soon! See the Brickshelf gallery once moderated for more inside pictures. Thanks for looking! Striker

Or, maybe she, like I, is waiting to mourn until we figure this situation out. -
Ah, Candyland. Boy, do I remember that game. Hours and hours of fun spent playing that with my mom when I was younger. Then she said I was too old for it. Thanks a lot, mom.

Mafstraw Manor - Chapter 6

*clunk* I'd like to pretend that Florance just threw a fruit vegetable at my head. You crazy old bat, can't we just talk over in the corner instead of you constantly pulling potatoes out of nowhere and throwing them at me?! -
That's the fun of it! Getting frustrated trying to think of a word out of your limited letters, and what's on the board. I can personally say that I've had my fair share of angry moments during gameplay, but it's still fun for us grammar geeks! I haven't seen the Disney version yet, but then again, I don't wander off to the board game aisle at Wal-Mart very often.

Sorry! and Scrabble are fun, too. Scrabble is especially fun, though. You can learn a lot. If you'r eplaying with someone, they might use a word you didn't even know! Plus, it's fun, too. I could play this game all day. Here's some info: As for Sorry!, you have to get all your men around the board and into your safe-zone, while trying to hold the other player(s')'s men off until you can win. Great, game, great game. Here's some information on that, too:

Mafstraw Manor - Chapter 6

Thomas, I mean it must be you who knocked me out. Unless I'm very confused, what you may or may not have said makes it rather obvio... Oh... Wait... A lot ofus have been knocked out before... Why are you sending me vegetables? -
Happy Birthday Hinckley, Mr, Mandalorian and Mr Spielbrick
Luke McAwesome replied to Professor Flitwick's topic in Community
Ah, the chocolate milk shall flow tonight! Also, it actually just turned your birthday here, so it wasn't official yesterday. I am your personal bean bag for the day. Whack me! -
Interesting topic, WhiteFang. Let's see, I really like Sequence, I'm pretty good at it, too. Of course, it's just a game of luck, and you got to hope you get the right cards, but it's pretty fun and addicting. Me and my family usually play it with guests, or if we're bored we'll play just a quick two-player round. But it's way more fun with four or more people. Another game of interest would be Monopoly. The game is a classic, and sure, the game takes forever, but it's fun. I haven't played Monopoly in a while. I'll try to get my mom to play it with me. And there's a couple others, but I'll get back to you in the morning about that. It's pretty late here.

Mafstraw Manor - Chapter 6

Thomas, you idiot, why dd you do this to me?! I'd like to grab Thomas by the neck and shake him until he tells the truth. It also seems, by the look of things, that old Faisser is alive, and is rather murderous. Who else could it be? He practically screamed to the heavens "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!". Look, Faisser, if you can hear me, you old bag, stop killing the people you invite-Oh. I see what's going on now. It's a trap! I'd also like to run to the nearest exit and bang my fists on the door, screaming things like "Get me out of here before he axes me like the old pickle I am!!" until someone has to slap some sense into this old mind. -

Happy Birthday Hinckley, Mr, Mandalorian and Mr Spielbrick
Luke McAwesome replied to Professor Flitwick's topic in Community
Happy birthday, Hinckles! You get one free whack in the face! Make it count, 'cause it's your present. And yes, you may sneak a couple in at your birthday party. ...I am invited, aren't I? And a very happy birthday to Mr. Mandalorian and Mr. Spielbrick! I hope you'l all get lots of LEGO and have fun, and maybe you can sneak me into Hinck's party. -
I honestly could careless about what other companies make. As long as we all understand that LEGO has the best quality, I'm fine. You guys act as if "Mega Bloks are evil!" and what not, but I actually use some of their parts in creations, because, like Peppermint said, they have made sets that LEGO wouldn't dare venture into; Military and others. And I used some castle fences from an old Mega Bloks set for Dinosaur-proof fences in a Jurassic Park dio, and they were better than anything TLG has ever made for that kind of part. Another thing that sort of gets to me is the constant sensoring of the brand name, you act as if you could go to prison for it; such as M*** B***s. What is the point of this? Mega Bloks, Mega Bloks, MEGA BLOKS! There, I said it. And I'm proud to say I mix brands and are not scared of it! If you can't stand it, don't look at my creations. Sure, I prefer LEGO's solid perfect ABS pieces over Mega Bloks' transparent, brittle, plastic any day. But that doesn't mean it's illegal to use it in a MOC. /end rant

Mustache or Mouth?
Luke McAwesome replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well, this certainly tends to the matter in a rather... humorous way. I think whoever made this has a point, though. It's not. Computerbug, you are so right. That's starting to scare me! -
Happy birthday! I hope you'll get loads and loads, and maybe even another load or two, of LEGO!
-
Hey, MC, you might want to change the character that went into the forest's name, cause Zach is currently a loooong way away from where we are.

CC sighed. "Do I really have to tell all of you over and over again? Can't it wait till dinner's ready?" "Sure," said John. Melody, still silent, looked over towards Clyde, who was sitting by the fire and playing around with the rabbit skins, tossing them up in the air like pizza dough. "What's this about an underwater base?" Garviel asked. "I found one with my scanner, we're gonna head down there after dinner," said CC. "Come on over here!" Clyde yelled to them. Everyone walked over to the fire and sat down. "So, this base..." John began. "Is it human or alien?" "Well, there's submarines down there, and I would think aliens are too sophisticated for our technology. It must be human," said CC. "Who's to say it's not a trap for survivors like us?" Melody asked. "I doubt it, Mel," said Sam. The group started eating rapidly, they were so interested in what would be down there. What would become of their lives if this was some hideout for survivors? Would Bob and Zach ever find them? And what about Adam? Would he discover them? Was he even tracking them? These are questions they wish they could answer, but couldn't.

Apocalypse Discussion Thread
Luke McAwesome replied to -JD-'s topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Good chapter opening, JD! Also, I think we really need to fix up the character list. Da Death Star is banned, and has never even posted. Same goes for Tim Bit, Lego12, Lt. Col. Thok, and I think that's it. But why sign up for a game if you're not going to play it? It leaves room for new players, anyway. I'm always excited for that! -
You can appear whenever you want, though it'd probably be best if you came in before we get to the base.

Mystical Castle - Conclusion
Luke McAwesome replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Speaking of night actions, when you have the time, Dragonator, could you tell us what everyone's night actions were, and maybe the results of all the nights? Because there's always something happening that we never knew happened.
